I didn't intend to stay here, I confused this hotel with the seafront Leonardo Royal, and I was told by a taxi driver that it's a common mistake.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It has a bright reception area with a bar , restaurant, and breakfast area. There are also a few toiletteries and snacks available to buy. The staff are efficient.
My room was on the fifth floor with a view across the town. The room was very clean with a first-rate bed, largish tv., Espresso machine, a well stocked hospitality tray , slippers, toiletteries, a Mini fridge and a safe , although you are advised to leave valuable items in the reception.
I slept well, I didn't really hear any noise from inside or outside. The televisions have restricted sound.There are key cards that not only open room doors but are required to call the lifts on the ground floor.
There is a small selection of food available, pizzas steaks , pasta, fish and chips, and other pub favourites.
Breakfast is taken in the extended restaurant , there is a great selection to most guests, continental cold cuts, fruits, yoghurt, porridge, cereals, pastries, smoothies, etc. Guests can set themselves up for the day.
The seafront is approximately 15 minutes walk away, the quickest route, and it's downhill . The railway station is literally just around the corner, so this is also a good spot for those delegates attending conferences in the hotel.
Overall , I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to others.

The hotel location is amazing - just 2 minutes from the station (if that) and a 10 minute stroll to the beach. The Hotel was exceptionally clean with brilliant welcoming staff. As other have mentioned, the only negative is that the breakfast choices were very limited. Small single portion omelettes, tinned tomatoes and sausages, as well as cereals etc. However - don't let this distract you. Loved the additional facilities of the hotel (washing machines, the Den) etc. The room was silent - no noise from anywhere. Good powerful but quiet air con.

Really lovely welcome when I arrived. I was early but the room was ready. Comfortable bed had a good night's sleep. I had dinner reservations elsewhere but then came back to the bar for coffees and a chat in the lobby with my son and his student friends theyu were warmly welcomed too. Didn't have the breakfast BUT had an amazing Afternoon Tea overlooking the sea with a friend.

Such nice hotel! Too bad didn’t have time to use their swimming pool, it should be nice. Parking was of good size, very safe (forgot to close passenger side window). A bit expensive though. Bed very comfortable. Room was big enough for 2 to move around with 2 large luggage around. Minor improvement, the lamp on the desk is blocking the TV, curious.

We stayed for one night and i will definitely stay again. Our room was clean , nice bed and crisp linen. Bathroom was immaculate except for an unsightly overflow in the bath and this wasnt dirty just didnt look very nice. Lovely breakfast and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Absolutely amazing hotel, profe was fair, location was perfect, I could see the pier from my room. Mike (they guy in reception) was super lovely, making sure that I had everything I needed and making me feel like at home. Thank you so so much! I will be back to Brighton in the summer and I will stay there FOR SURE!!. Highly recommended.

PPengguna TetamuWe were relocated to this hotel from the nightmare of 'Amherst hotel'. The rooms were spacious and clean and staff were friendly. We saw a free drag show one evening in the bar downstairs. The only annoying thing was the room card keys kept not working which was so irritating. LGBT friendly.

But on the night of our stay was very strong wind and omg felt like windows will fall out, we stayed up all night. Room was freezing.
In the no when I did check why the wind noise was sooo bad I realised there was a massive gap between window and frame.
On the check out girl asked how was my stay and when I said it was just alright, she wasn’t bothered to ask why and skipped to next question.
I could point out issue we had but there was a guest in front of me who was talking about the same situation and girl at reception offered her blanket and heater, sounds like it’s on good problem in hotel with windows and stuff can’t be ask to deal with it.

I picked this hotel as it was my husbands birthday and wanted to treat him to 2 nights away. When we arrived I had to ring a number on the door. A man came and said I was to read my email. I did not get an email. He then charged me £30 for a parking permit. I explained we had a blue badge but he said we still need one. Turns out we did not need to pay at all.nor did he explain you have to drive around for ages to try and get a parking space in the right zone! The room was ok. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly, someone's earring was still on the side. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Code to get into building and room was a brilliant idea,no need for extra keys. I would not stay again. It's a lot of money for a room that felt like a hostel. We did not feel welcomed and nothing was really explained to us. For the amount we paid I expected more.

PPengguna TetamuWe were due to stay here on the 12th August 2022 for 2 nights but just less than 48 hours before we had to rush our son into hospital due to appendicitis! I tried to cancel the room and get our money back but it was too late and I just thought in the scheme of things I was happy that we had taken my son into hospital just in time and he had his operation Saturday morning. I spent 4 days in hospital devastated for my son but also that he missed his holiday too. I thought I’d try and email the owner and appeal to them regarding how unfortunate we were that due to no fault of our own that we’d have to lose our money. Mark could not have been more accommodating. He responded to my messages/emails and helped me receive a refund through the booking agent. If you’re looking for a reliable, dependable and customer focused place to stay - then Ei8ht Brighton is a fantastic place to start.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed at this hotel as we had a wedding not too far away about 15 minute drive away. Booking a taxi was a nightmare to get home as there are not many options so as you can imagine a wedding with 100 guests or more all trying to get a cab wasn’t successful and we had to wait over an hour to get a taxi. The room was cute and clean. People at the bar and restaurant was nice but the reception was a nightmare. They were very short staff so checking out was taking forever so we just left without checking out and let the keys on the desk.

The location didnt have a reception but a door entry system. Which went to a mobile phone with a full mailbox! Stood outside in the cold for 45 minutes. Finally found someone who worked in the spa. They tried to help but would not give contact numbers. Got in to the property and was given the key box number which was on the room door!! Room was cold, damp, small with a bunk bed arrangement. Light was painted over and falling out of the ceiling, Wardrobe was a metal cabinet found in a workshop! Radiator was not working and an electric substitue was in the room but didnt look safe. The power socket which the tele was supposed tobe plugged into was falling out of the wall. There was a fake nail on the bed. The shower room had a smell and although relatively clean had staining in the shower. We finally got a number for one of the hotels other locations in Brighton from a website. The receptionist was friendly. We explained the issue that the room was not as advertised or paid for. They explained that the computor system was to fault!!! No other rooms were available and suggested contacting another hotel in the Brighton area which they sent us the details for. We had to pay a premium rate well above our origonal book for the second hotel. The receptionist for Otto Breeze did refund out £50damage deposit on the day and the staff at the spa were helpful (although not allowed to supply information). We received a refund for the total amount of £127.00 but this was a stressful experience.
