Our room was super cute, cozy, quiet, and had a lovely view of the garden patio and sheep field. The host was incredibly friendly and wonderful to talk to. Her and her family made us feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the both of us loved the freshly baked cookies that were left for us!♡ My boyfriend and I are definitely going to stay here again on our next visit!♡♡♡

What an amazing place, Sam has been the perfect host from start to finish. Me and the wife came for my birthday and it was perfect. The room was big with a great bed which we had the best nights sleep in a long time and the bathroom with the traditional roll top bath was ideal for relaxing. Sam helped us choose a nice meal out and the breakfast she cooked was to die for. We will definitely come here again if we are in the area and would recommend to everyone we know. Thanks again Sam!

The Swallows Rest in Brigstock turned out to the perfect choice for an overnight stay and trip down memory lane as we travelled north. Sam is warm and welcoming and a fabulous host. She made us feel very much at home in this beautiful place. It was a joy to wake up to the gorgeous view of the garden and countryside behind the house. And breakfast was delicious. An added bonus at the Swallows Rest is the EV charger. This is a godsend at the end of a journey for electric car users. Thanks for a great stay Sam

It’s was a great experience and we enjoyed staying there. The B&B was wonderful and very welcoming. Hopefully we will go again next time. Thanks for the great hospitality and nice breakfast! We love Oundle and the surrounding countryside!

The best place I have stayed for many years. Spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated with a lovely very helpful host. I wish my home was as perfect It's not often I enthuse, but the Swallows Rest is definitely worth enthusing about!

We can only endorse all the comments from other reviewers. Swallow's rest was the best B&B we've stayed in across several countries. The facilities, room decor, attention to detail, hospitality and helpfulness were all first class. It is 5+ star with the bonus of genuine personal attention and friendliness. Treat yourself and book in here if ever you are passing through. Brigstock itself is a great little village.

Sam was a great host, I had a very long drive and she was so welcoming. Honestly one of the nicest places I have stayed for a long time. I would highly recommend it great ambience, just so lovely, and I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was fantastic lots of choice. Anyone thinking of staying in would choose this over any 4/5 star hotel. Thanks Sam for being so kind and making the experience a good one!

The Swallows Rest is probably the most comfy and welcoming B&B we have stayed in. It is warm and cosy and very quiet, set on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Brigstock. Sam is very welcoming and provides a lovely breakfast with lots of choice. We will definitely stay again when travelling in the area.

Swallows Rest is absolutely delightful. The rooms are done to a high spec and are super comfy. The breakfast was delicious, and Sam is incredibly attentive. The stay was perfect. The village is also lovely - very pretty and surrounded by lovely countryside
