Hotel berhampiran Guyatt Park, Brisbane

Very helpful, clean and friendly. The only concern I had was the fire escape plan. We were on the ground floor and the outdoor area was surrounded by aluminium lattice work which was welded shut. The only way out was back through the one way hallway to the exit doors. If there was a fire you would have to climb 2m over the lattice to get out. When I asked about it they said it's a brick building so you don't have to really worry about fire....😬

I cannot fault this accomodation! From the friendly welcome and service to the above and beyond service I received after leaving an expensive phone charger/cord behind. The manager ‘Jack’ went out of his way to ‘find’ and ‘organise’ a pick-up for me that I am so grateful for. To find that the wonderful cleaners had taken it to the office was so honest that I would like to say ‘thank you’. The very clean and large Family Studio we had was perfect. Plenty of free parking and a no-fuss check- out. We didn’t have any trouble with noise from either the road or other apartments. Free wi-fi. We weren’t far from the City centre or Southbank. Easy to Uber. Will definitely be coming back. A+

Travelling to BNE every 15 days and I used to stay in the CDB, even when attending some conferences in BCEC. Due to a last minute booking, I ended-up at the Novotel few months ago, and this place is officially my new HOME when in town. Clean and tidy very modern quiet rooms, 100m walk from exhibitions halls (thanks to a shortcut at the back), with a 24/7 accessible parking (you can get in and out easily), this place is super convenient. You are just next door to all what Southbank has to offer and a short walk distance (or scooter ride) to the CDB (pedestrian bridge over the river) Staff are young and efficient, smiling all day. ACCOR Motto btw. Last but no least, you stay far from the noisy students/backpackers nightlife + trains / highway of downtown. After all, even if you are in Bris-Vegas, you came here for a rest!

A nice modern room with all the amenities to go with it. Comfortable, clean, amazing shower and views, amazing staff and ample parking though not free. Near to public transportation, coffee shop on the ground floor and abundant retail shops nearby.

I loved the Brisbane Hyatt. I ended up spending four more nights there and it just couldn’t get enough. It was centrally located. I was able to get around town very easily. I was able to walk over to the wonderful Parkland lake where the big party is in the middle of town where everybody’s at the beach and playing volleyball having fun The food was exceptional. The service was outstanding. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was modern and clean and eco-friendly so all in all I was quite impressed and I’m sure I’ll be back in the future. Thank you very much! I’m a big fan.

Quick overnight stay. Close to everything we needed. Neat and tidy. Amazing customer service. Great breakfast with real coffee! A huge thank you to housekeeping for finding my jewellery box and handing it in to reception. Your honesty and integrity mean the absolute world to me. Well done 👏

Loc Super convenient location on the corner of Jephson St and Sherwood Rd, with the popular Toowong Village Shopping Centre, a 10 minute walk away. The Toowong railway station can be accessed directly from the shopping centre. There are plenty of buses trundling up and down Sherwood Rd heading in various directions to the city or to the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre further south. The nearest ferry terminal is Regatta, less than a km away, but at the time of writing it is still under repair following last year's floods. Room We found the room to be clean, comfortable and spacious, with a large king bed, two bedside tables, each with a drawer and a lamp, a TV on the wall, and a handy desk for working at. On the balcony, was a small table and two chairs. There were plenty of power points to charge appliances and the downlights were strong enough for easy reading. The stylish touch lamp on the desk and standing lamp in the corner were useful for extra illumination. There was a hanging rail with about eight hangers. There were two sets of two drawers, one underneath the hanging rail and the safe, with one larger set underneath the TV. They were reasonably sized, but being virtually on the floor, they were super inconvenient to access. I can’t understand why the designers didn’t think of this, because it’s extra difficult to get down so low, especially if you’re a bit older, or with knee problems. Also in the room was a safe but that too required bending down. On top of the safe and below the hanging rail was a shelf to store one suitcase. The tea and coffee making facilities were also very difficult to access as they were rammed into a little shelf snuck between the drawers and the desk-top. The room though was quiet, being at the back of the property and therefore not facing directly onto either Jephson Street or Sherwood Rd, both busy roads. One could hear some noise from within the hotel as people walked up and down the corridor, but it was a minor inconvenience and most fellow guests seemed friendly and well behaved. There wasn’t much of a view, and the room just looked out onto the sprawling next door apartment complex, and to the right between the trees we could see Jephson Street, and the traffic going up and down, but the sound didn’t carry into the bedroom if the balcony door was kept closed. Bathroom The bathroom was not an en-suite, being situated in the passageway, between the front door and the bed. That was just as well, as it had a sliding door, which is never great for privacy, although it could be locked. But the bathroom was modern and stylish, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. A transparent glass wall separated the bathroom from the bedroom, which shocked me when I first saw it. I immediately phoned the reception to tell them that we needed another room due to the lack of bathroom privacy. We had a really nice stay in this service apartment. Very clean, nice staff assistant, very new and well furnished.

We booked a one bedroom apartment with mountain view for Brisbane river fire. It was a very pleasant stay and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location with a short stroll to the culture centre and Southbank. The coffee shop downstairs made breakfast easy. It was also great value for money. The only downside was the closeness to the train tracks so you could hear the train all night - but it wasn’t that loud and didn’t really impact our sleep.

Love the rooms, staff is superb and is easily the best hotel in Brisbane in my humble opinion
