Our stay at Hotel Le Bois De Bruges began on a rather sour note. Upon arrival, the room assigned to us had a strong odour of sewerage, which made it quite unbearable. To make matters worse, we found that there were still some contents left in the toilet, which was completely unacceptable and a clear oversight in housekeeping. Unfortunately, as we arrived late at night, we did not report these issues to the staff at that time. Throughout our stay, we also experienced frequent problems with the lift, which was off more often than on. Given that the hotel is rated as a 4-star establishment, it felt much closer to a 2-star experience. The quality and condition of the facilities certainly didn't reflect the price that was charged. Despite these initial and ongoing issues, the hotel did have its positives, but these problems significantly overshadowed our overall experience. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better cleanliness and maintenance standards for future guests.
