The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. It's very close to Victoria Harbour, and walking to Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations is also very convenient. I'm not sure if I got an upgraded room type, but my room even had a walk-in closet.

The hotel room essentially met all my requirements. I chose a twin room this time because the king-size rooms were smoking rooms. This was my first time staying at the Royal Garden. The hotel is clean, has a beautiful pool, nice views, and a wide selection of restaurants. On our last day, we had a late flight after checking out. The hotel team kept our luggage safe, and Wai Tse was extremely helpful with the check-out process. He also arranged a taxi for us and assisted us until we left.

Be careful!!!! Our experience with Empire Hotel was very unsatisfactory. We booked the hotel thinking that its going to be like any other 4-star hotel, as the price per night was similar to others in the area. It turned out, that this is hotel was 4-stars, maybe 20 years ago. The furniture and all room equipment looks like something I’d expect to find in a cheap student rental. Destroyed, quickly fixed with tape or paint (lol), siliconed windows to provide “isolation”, neighbors that you can hear even when they’re not particularly loud. Stained carpets, no amenities like drinkable WATER! We were shocked. No toothpaste or toothbrush in case you forget yours. In our room even fridge was dirty, not to mention the state of shower or ventilation. I would rank this hotel 2-stars.
If you’re a fan of white noise this hotel is for you. If not, avoid their AC at all cost! I dont know how people stay there during summer, but its definitely not normal to feel like there’s a vacuum cleaner on next to you. We complained to the staff and were told that all rooms are the same. Trip.com unfortunately was not able to help us with relocation… second great story for another time. We were finally moved to a “better room” just to find out that indeed “all rooms are the same”. We also got a couch there that didnt even stay put together… I dont want to know how much people pay for that “premium” room…

The only down side is that if we wanted amenities we have to buy it from a vending machine on the same floor that only accepts Alipay, WeChat and octopus. Staff comes to clean everysay at about 10am and room was spacious. Did not get food from the hotel so will not be commenting on that.
