Really central and convenient location yet we still found it generally quiet and peaceful. The Belfort bells first rang (I think) from 8am in the morn and we did hear those. But they add to the atmosphere. Very tidy and clean room/bathroom. Quite small hanging space and shelves, no drawers. Fine for a few days stay. Altogether compact but feels very modern and had everything we needed. Impressed for the price and had a lovely stay! Luggage storage a useful feature as well behind reception, but bags are not tagged so it's self service/at your own risk.

We stayed there for one night. The location is amazing and just at the heart of the center. We had to leave in the very early morning and they accepted to serve us the breakfast thank you the kitchen lady. Highly recommended this hotel if you will come. Our hotel view was the lake this experience was also unforgettable! Thank you..

The facial tissue run out only 2 left, I had to ask at the front desk, kind of unusual for a 5 star hotel, not paying attention to such service. And we paid over $200 per night. Hmmm

Wij bezoeken regelmatig steden. In dit geval Brugge. Hierbij een hotel gevonden welk de waarde, uitstraling en authentiek is als geen ander. Dan spreek ik nog geen eens over de gastvrijheid en warmte die Hans en zijn echtgenote ons als gast hebben doen beleven. Een kamer waar niets ontbreekt. Uitermate schoon, airco, apart toilet en badkamer. De inrichting is met respect en met voelbare liefde voor de geschiedenis van het gebouw gerealiseerd. Ik benoem de mooie stoelen, het bed met historie naar Italiaanse Lucca. En met de moderne aanpassingen van deze tijd. Regendouche, dubbele beglazing, led tv en karakteristieke meubelen. Het uitgebreide ontbijt wordt geserveerd in het oudste deel (14e eeuw) van het hotel en niet alleen door de talloze broodjes, beleg, vers fruit maar zelfs zonder het ontbijt is al een belevenis. Kortom fantastisch en wij komen hier zeker nog .. keren terug.

Le sauna estt sympas le petit dejeuner il y a du choix vois etes sur de manger sucré comme salé. Chambre standard correct avec petit echantillons et cafetiere style nespresso avec 2 capsules de café 2 sachet thé mais pas de boulloir. Lit confortable le hic c est le petit frigo qui fait du bruit toute la nuit ainsi que le chauffage.

We stayed here overnight on the way back to Calais from Germany What an absolute gem. As soon as you turn into the car park it’s obviously not your average hotel. The approach to the building is lovely, plenty of tables and chairs and umbrellas on both sides of the grey stone paved approach to reception. The rooms are very nice, spacious, clean, modern and very comfortable. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained and the whole ambience of the place is relaxing. Dinner in the restaurant, though a little costly, was exceptional and worth every penny. Breakfast very good and more than enough choice of meats, cheese, yoghurts, fresh bread, fruit, juice, coffee tea etc etc There isn’t a full English option, but there is bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage - if you must have it!!

Spacious rooms with a full desk to work at and fast wifi make this hotel well suited to business travel. The location is just off the highway which is convenient, although it's located in an industrial area so not well suited for walking/restaurants. The breakfast is one of the best you will find and the bar and restaurant have a limited menu but good quality food. The staff is friendly and they provide excellent service.

PPengguna TetamuObviously, the owner of the property, Jason, has put a lot of thoughts into furnishing it and has taken great pride and care in its upkeeping. The property is located on the quieter side of the old town but is anyway just about a 5 minute walk to Markt. The room is well appointed, spacious and clean. The breakfast prepared personally by Jason is sumptuous and tasty. A fantastic stay!

SSusanSecond stay at the hotel. The room wasn't quite as big as previous stays, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel itself is beautiful, great service and the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. Of course it's not a cheap stay, but for a 5* it's very well priced and I will definitely be returning again. The only thing I would comment, which is a very particular observation by me, is that tge complimentary toiletries are not branded. It would be nice to have L'occitane, Molton Brown or Elemis especially in a 5*.But as I say, a very lovely hotel and it won't be my last stay

We stayed here for four nights. Lovely room - very quiet, unbelievably comfortable bed, clean and all facilities you would expect. We had breakfast in the hotel which was probably the best buffet breakfast I have ever seen - I could not think of one thing they did not cater for. The terrace for drinks in the evening is beautiful and we had lunch there one day which was exceptional. Although you do expect good service from a 5* the staff go way beyond that; they are extremely friendly and helpful and cannot do enough to assist - absolutely exceptional and this applies to ALL staff we encountered. The location is perfect - just minutes away from all the main sights and restaurants etc. I cannot recommend this hotel/residences high enough.

PPengguna TetamuJust back from a weekend in Bruges and I can't recommend the Hotel Bryghia highly enough. It's in a great location - just far enough out of the centre to be blissfully quiet and but less than 10 mins walk from the Market Square and Belfry. Right next to a beautiful canal and bridge. It was the perfect balance of an old building but with modern facilities. The bed was so comfortable, we had the best night's sleep. We were welcomed by the very warm, friendly owner, and by some Belgian chocolates in our room! The map and local knowledge he shared were priceless. We are already planning to visit again in the Summer and will definitely book the Bryghia.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is absolutely amazing. The price for 1 night is affordable. My partner booked last minute and we didn’t expect what we see online is what we get in person. The room is lovely and warm, bed is so comfortable, pillows are the softest ever we had amongst the hotel we have been for holidays. The room space are enough for couples and couldn’t ask for more. The ambiance upon the reception up to the lounge are absolutely amazing and beautiful. The lovely receptionist was so friendly as well. We highly recommend this hotel to everybody who are looking for affordable and budget friendly accommodation.

PPengguna TetamuThis place is located close to the central area of town (about a 8 minute walk) and also has a great parking facility underground nearby (about a 3 minute walk). I'm not sure what the 24hr rate was, but we were there from the afternoon to morning (each day) and paid around 13 Euros. We never ate at the hotel, but the room was nice and everything went fine. It's a very quiet hotel. I only have positive things to say about this hotel and would stay there again when going to this beautiful town of Bruges. Oh, lastly be sure to see Ghent and the Gravensteen castle. It's another excellent small town.

Old and very quaint hotel in good location. Mostly good things: easy walk to Bruges centre,hotel full of character, large comfortable rooms, good shower. Breakfast good with lovely fresh bread. Staff pleasant and very helpful. A few negatives to feed back: the carpets, furnishings and towels look old and in some cases very frayed. There were a couple of areas of carpet on stairs that were so frayed they were potential trip hazards. This was surprising for a 4 Star hotel. One or two issues with room cleanliness eg cobwebs on the ceiling, marks on the mirror from previous occupants, dust in corners. Rooms at the front have lovely canal views but are noisy with traffic during the day. Overall a good stay but with room for improvement.

PPengguna TetamuOne of the worst lodging experiences out of the hundreds of trips I’ve taken. The story begins with me mistakenly booking for august 11-13, 2023 instead of the intended dates of august 12-14, 2023. So, I made an additional reservation for august 13-14, 2023, to stay as planned. Both reservations were fully prepaid on agoda.com (€199 for the first 2 days and €108 for the third day). Upon checking in on august 12, 2023, I was informed that the 'paid-for' room was already occupied by someone else, and I was not allowed to use it. Their reason was that I didn't check in on august 11, 2023. The hotel voluntarily cancelled my reservation and ”gave the room away” to someone else on august 12-13, 2023, WITHOUT ANY CONSENT from me or ANY PRIOR NOTICE. It's a ridiculous joke. I am renting a room, not participating in horse racing or any kind of ******** like that. I'm i don't need to arrive earlier than others to use the room I’ve paid for, right? Even the front desk staff mentioned there was nothing they could do at the time and offered no assistance or resolution for the situation. I struggled to find a hotel on the same day and had to pay a substantial fee for last-minute accommodation in Bruges, while the room I paid for is being rented by the hotel to someone else. As for the second reservation on august 13, 2023, the hotel's conditions were just as terrible as their treatment of customers. There was no nightstand as pictured, not even a single clothes hanger, the room was too hot to close the door in august (no air conditioning or fan), and the noise was unbearable with constant disturbances from the adjacent room's door and footsteps in the corridor. A 'wonderful' experience for a night's stay here, priced at €307. Congratulations, you're certainly running a splendid business. P/s: Bruges is a beautiful city but this hostel is a SHAME.
