PPengguna TetamuObviously, the owner of the property, Jason, has put a lot of thoughts into furnishing it and has taken great pride and care in its upkeeping. The property is located on the quieter side of the old town but is anyway just about a 5 minute walk to Markt. The room is well appointed, spacious and clean. The breakfast prepared personally by Jason is sumptuous and tasty. A fantastic stay!

CcarlottaThe location is 5 minutes walk to city eating & shopping centre. The room and bathroom are super clean and tidy. A lovely green garden with a reasonable size outdoor swimming pool Great home-made healthy breakfast and coffee. Very relax experience.

GgetsomecomfyshoesThis is a lovely B&B. It's really well located, being just 10 minutes walk into the centre of Bruges and been tastefully restored and decorated; it's very clean too. The owners are super friendly and have some great recommendations, like the Carpe Diem bakery for breakfast. The downside, is there's no soundproofing, and all the surfaces are hard, so you can hear people in the other rooms and communal area. We stayed for 2 nights and on both, were woken in the early hours of the morning by guests returning. On the second night, some guest sat in the communal area drinking with friends which kept us awake for some time. As much as I really liked La Cle, I need my sleep and the lack of it impacted on my overall experience of the B&B and trip to Bruges.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed here for 2 nights in the Secret Room (1st floor double) and loved the history/quaintness of this beautiful building. It’s opposite the cathedral so very central and easy walking distance everywhere – a perfect base. Once you have your key, you can come and go as you please with the electronic key fob provided. The room was lovely, big and bright however, as mentioned by others – not so good noise wise. The floors are very creaky, so we could always hear the people above us. There was also a curtain instead of a door between the bedroom/bathroom. Lovely comfy bed and great bedding. Plenty of hot water and towels. We took our own toiletries although generic large bottles are provided of basic shower gel, shampoo and soap. There is a coffee machine in the room with capsules, a bottle of water and small bottle of wine – which was much appreciated. There are also coffee/tea facilities in the dining room which are available 24/7. The room had air con which was perfect, kept the room lovely and cool and was whisper quiet. A large TV in the room with many channels. Breakfast was in their other property next door, standard continental along with eggs/bacon/beans and lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. We came by car and used the nearby car park called Zilverpan which was 14 euros per 24 hours. We had an amazing time, staff are great – highly recommended!
