The rooms are run down and very little money has been spent on improvements. It was annoying that the manager asked me to pay up front for my four days to stay at the Omega. Generally I pay at check out time. The manager insisted on three occasions overall. I suspected that previous guests had given him a bad time about their experiences. The reality check came for me on the third day in the afternoon. There was a sudden hard rain in the afternoon at about 4:00 pm just as I was arriving back to my room. the drainage system is ineffective. The floors throughout the hotel had been flooded out. Given the rooms are on the first floor I can not work out how this happened. There was a very bad smell of contaminated water sort of like diluted sewerage water near the reception area and throughout the corridor and staff were busy trying to soak up the water. I was lucky as the bad smell was not in my room but one other guest was irate. Neither of us will be staying here ever again. The only outstanding feature of the Omega is the woman that is on reception. She was friendly, honest, helpful and knew the importance of having a good relationship with guests. Omega management can turn this into a good hotel. Just spend money on maintenance and simple upgrades.

One of the most budget friendly accommodation in the city! It is in a very strategic location where it is just few meters away from bus stop and metro train station. It is also just few bus stops away from famous tourist destinations. It is near grocery store and vodafone where you can buy a sim card (tip for tourists). Rooms are clean and well maintained. They have self service washing and drying machines, common kitchen and bathrooms, common lounge area, vending machines and many more. This place is wheelchair friendly as well for those who need them. Service wise was great as well. I would commend Thomas from reception for being helpful especially when we arrived from airport at 2AM. Overall, we enjoyed staying here. It is truly a great value for money.

Stayed 5 nights for a conference with 3 other colleagues. Quaint hotel that looks its age. Had very friendly and helpful staff handling check in/out. Had taken a suite, but it was rather small. Main door opened into an anteroom with 2 internal doors - 1 of which led into bedroom (just enough space for a double bed with 2 small side tables). The other door led into a small living room (space for dressing table, couch, TV, and a small round table with a chair). Bathroom is a little dim. Breakfast buffet had standard ham and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, fruits - repeated daily. Noticed the staff change the cutlery after each dinner, but the placemats on the table is not changed. Location is excellent with nearby train and bus station leading to all major attractions. Also have supermarkets nearby.

The hotel is very beautiful and modern and the staff very welcoming. not knowing the city, they do not hesitate to advise me on places to visit and explain to me how to get around with public transport. The room was very comfortable and modern corresponding to all my expectations. The only small negative point that I could cite is the restricted opening hours of the restaurant and the bar. Taking into account the neighborhood (8th arrondissement), I would have preferred to eat at the hotel than to have to go out or order. In summary, a great stay and can't wait to come back!

The hotel was good and the location is really close to the metro station. Surrounded with supermarket and some restaurants. But the service is so poor. I booked the bus with the night staff to airport and he didn’t ask me to pay. He just wrote down my name and my room number. Then the day after, I went to check again and I met another staff. She told me that the booking was cancelled because I didn’t pay. I told her, I didn’t know we have to pay because your colleague didn’t told me to and he said it’s fine. Then she said sorry it’s not her fault coz I didn’t pay. She said sorry but with the expression like no sorry. So if you happen to stay there, and book the bus remember to tell the staff that you want to pay even if they didn’t tell you to.

Currently here at the moment and tbh I’m disappointed! Not like the reviews say. It’s a good 45 min walk to the centre of Budepest. The breakfast is lack lustre at most! Luke warm hot drinks, only one side of the toaster works and very basic buffet. Rooms have no tv, or hairdryers! The amenities it says are here simply aren’t, rooftop bar closed, pasta shop never open, spar next door is very limited hours and the staff are rude. If your wanting somewhere to stay with things around it don’t stay here it feels like your in the middle of no where. Nothing much around it so do expect to be walking quite a way to get to anything. I comply understand it’s geared towards student but even these must be bored to tears with the lack of amenities around the hotel, not even anywhere to grab a bite to eat within a good 10 min walk. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not On a plus note the reception staff are lovely

I stayed at the ibis Budapest Stadium Hotel for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel is located next to the Groupama Arena and is conveniently located near the Nepliget metro station (2 minute walk). The hotel itself is modern and clean and the staff at reception were professional and polite. The Room (675) was basic (no tea/coffee making facilities etc) but modern and clean, the bed was comfortable and the WIFI was good. In the bathroom there is only a shower with Shower gel/shampoo provided, once again very modern and clean. The breakfast was a vast selection of meats, eggs, breads, cereals etc and was of good quality. The staff at breakfast were friendly and polite. Overall, I would say this was a very nice hotel to stay at. As it is a New Hotel there are no signs of wear and tear which makes the stay more pleasant. I would definitely consider staying here again if I was in Budapest.

The hotel location is out of city center but there is several means of transportation just in front of the hotel so it can be reached easily the spa is OK the breakfast is very good and they keep refilling it when crowded .the cleaning lady knocked the door we said will be out in 2 minutes but she never cleaned our room didn't like that

We started and ended in Budapest on a 3 week trip. We allowed two days at the end so we would have time for covid testing, then did not need to get one. We had stayed in the city center at the beginning of the trip, but stayed near the airport at the end. We we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff. We got up to our room and found that the air conditioner did not work, they quickly moved up to another room. Our main complaint about this room was that it has a musty order. We wondered if it was the faulty air conditioner next door. The hotel appeared to be clean (but there was that smell) but a bit tired looking. Breakfast, which was included, was very nice. On our second day, when we had to get to the airport at 4am, there had some snacks out for early folks to take. And the airport shuttle seems to run 24 hours.

The hotel has a fantastic atmosphere, the breakfast it's really good and has a great variety of food, the attendant's team is almost perfect, expect for the bar in the evening, the rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. I found a very nice surprise for woman, beside the hair dryer there was an hair straightener. Very hepfull! The SPA was clean and excellent atmpsphere. I foundall service I would like to have. We didn't try the restaurant, but I saw people dining when in Budapest all the restaurants don't accept you anymore. I really felt cluddled!

PPengguna TetamuThere are some great things about this hotel and there are some bad things about this hotel. The staff is EXCELLENT and they have a GREAT pool area. The breakfast is great and the location is perfect!!! The bad thing was that the hotel did not have an AC . I admit it was winter but no AC so I was a bit hot. You have to open the window to make the room cool down. I got a deluxe room but the view not nice. I got to stare at some steel chimneys with a slight view in the far distance of the main cathedral. The carpets were also kind of dirty and I think the hotel should have someone look at the room before giving them to clients. They need to do a better job of cleaning the floors and the carpets. I would stay there again but drop them a note and tell them to look at the room before giving it to me. Another to be aware of this is an ADULTS ONLY hotel. I like kids but I like having adults only too. The hotel has a good vibe and aI had a good time there. The hotel just needs to work on refining their cleaning practices!!! Great pool!! SSteffenDA nice and pretty affordable four star hotel - perfect for families. Clean, relatively big and modern rooms with river view and balcony. The rooms are bright and give you a good feeling. Bathtub and shower in one. Medium size TV with an okay selection of channels. The very nice thing about this hotel is the pool and sauna area. Several pools for swimming, relaxing and one pool with thermal water. They even have kind of a medical spa/hospital attached to the hotel where you can get (health) cure. The breakfast has a great selection and is delicious. The hotel WiFi works very good and is available almost everywhere. The service and staff are friendly and helpful. They provide you a free water bottle in the room as welcome gift, which other hotels don’t as the tap water is drinkable. The location is on the island, where there are parks and kids playgrounds nearby, even there is a very small zoo for kids to play/touch some animals. To go to most sights/inner city/circus/thermal pools you can take a taxi with the Bolt app for approx. 8-10€. Near the hotel there is also a very tasty chain restaurant VakVarjú Étterem with typical Hungarian dishes. The hotel is also very dog friendly. We loved our stay and will come back. We also stayed in Danubius Hotel Helia nearby, but this one here is much better!

The location is just walking distance to the St Stephen Basilica, which is also the first stop for those who takes the sightseeing bus. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good with lots of choices. The staffs are helpful and they helped us to book a taxi to go to the budapest Népliget.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is perfect, right and one of the shopping streets where you can walk to a lot of the attractions. The hotel has 2 exits where one is open 24/7 where the reception is and where you can be dropped off by taxi. The other is on the shopping street, closing at 22.00 because it is also where the hotel restaurant Winestone is located. The restaurant has a good variety of food and very friendly and diligent staff which goes for the whole hotel. The breakfast is not served in the restaurant, but on the 2. floor. It has eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, ham, cereal, yoghurt, small pancakes, fruit, a little bit of vegetables. Could have liked the hot food to be hot, it was seldom the case. The room was nice with safety deposit box, coffee/tea, 1 bottle of water each day, mini bar and shampoo + shower gel and hair dryer. The room was cleaned spotless every day! The room becomes a bit hot and it helps to open the window. Right now there is construction going on, so you don't want the window open while they work. In the ground floor there is a fitness room with a good variety of equipment. The front desk staff is very helpful. We used the cleaning service for having some shirts ironed. That worked very well.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is conveniently located very close to public transportation. The tram is right across the street and the Metro station just a short walk away. You can also walk across to the other side of town where all the stores and restaurants are by using the Chain Bridge. However the bridge was closed for pedestrians last month, not sure if it is now open. Our room was a good size and we had a beautiful view of the Danube river and the Parliament. The small balcony outside our window needed to be cleaned though, as there were spider webs everywhere. Realized that after I stuck my head outside to look at the view.. You can also look outside the window in the hallway when you get off the elevators. It has a nice view of the castle at night. Bathroom was fine, there was a nice bathtub with a nice shower but I found the bathtub very high and it took me extra effort to climb in and out. Never had that problem before but for some reason this tub was not easy to climb into. The breakfast had many yummy choices. There were not many changes in what they offered everyday, but still they had many choices and also many different coffees you could prepare on the machine. Front desk staff were cordial and one young man in particular was very helpful with everything that we needed. I don't remember his name but he was in his 30s I believe with a goatie. All in all we enjoyed our stay! The only thing we wished is that this hotel had a pool, but oh well!

PPengguna TetamuWe had a reasonably sized 1 bed appt. From other reviews I was worried about noise and bad behaviour of groups of tourists but this is a block of 90 apartments and only 24 are tourist rentals. Others include a number of people with the title ”Dr” so they are not riffraff, if you know what I mean. Our stay so far has been very quiet. Almost no noise from inside the block. It's the centre of a city so there is road noise etc but the windows are triple glazed so keep the noise out very well. Lift and corridors are all v bright and well cleaned. The area is touristy to some extent with loads of good value eating places including a very popular Hungarian restaurant where you need to book called Getto Gulyas. The area as a whole used to be the Jewish ghetto so the huge synagogue is close by but that meant that the are as a whole is quite run down in appearance. I think that makes it a much more interesting feel than some of the more renovated areas. This apartment block is new enough that it's not shown on Google satellite. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Everything you need for cooking on holiday. Furnished exclusively from Ikea by the looks of it but it felt new and not worn out. Bed is comfortable and on the firm side. So far the is absolutely nothing of any significance wrong with the apartment. Maybe we have been lucky by not being near a stag party. But we've only seen one about town in our stay so far. From our experience we would recommend.

PPengguna TetamuLarge room, large shower but the water had probably a lot of limestone and other irritants so much that my girlfriend and I became blond at the end of the holiday, and I suggest to male available some eye drops because the eyes after the shower immediately became very reddened and swollen, as an Italian I really appreciated the presence of the bidet, lack of privacy because we had two windows that didn't even close completely and we had only one transparent white curtain available, and that was a passage area and everyone could see us inside. We thank the honesty of those who welcomed us and warned about the possibility of receiving unexpected visits: ”thieves and clochards” and for safety they also wrote it inside the room, just right on the wall indicating the exact point from which they would enter.
