The hotel was conveniently located near the station (trams & Metro lines 3, 4), which was great for sightseeing. There were no toothbrushes in the room, but the front desk provided them when asked, which was helpful. Shampoo and body wash were already provided. We had no trouble finding food with restaurants and a 24-hour ABC Mart nearby. The breakfast menu changed daily and was delicious.

Check in time shall wait till 3:00 pm. That is not so friendly for me while the room is available.

The location is perfect, it is just across the street from airport bus get-off point, and there are a lot of public transportation options to get to different sights. Since it is not exactly in the historic center, the price is reasonable. The room is not fancy but good enough to enjoy a good night sleep. The breakfast exceeds my expectation with it's variety of choices, but freshly made delicious goulash.

Overall a bit disappointing for a 4 star hotel, offered services are more of a 3 Star hotel especially price/service. Front desk team a bit “grumpiy” and not particularly welcoming and the only 4 star equipment is a gym which is not even within the hotel but its an affiliated gym opposite the street which you can not even go whenever you want, needing to go through the fuss of upload an app and register before being given a voucher and free access. Rooms are too small for Hungarian standard and bathroom surprisingly small. Breakfast area is large but food options quite limited and basic. May be worth considering other options more affordable and more welcoming in the vicinity.

The room was ok, nothing special and there was some smaller problems with the cleanliness. The breakfast was horrible. Stuff were nice.

I stayed here twice during my trip. The hotel itself is great, and the service is quite good. It would be even better if early check-in were possible when rooms are available. However, the luggage storage service was very helpful.

Decent hotel spread across two buildings.  Reception felt understaffed as people seemed to be lined up and waiting at both check in and checkout.  Rooms were clean and comfortable, but small.  Good location and rates reflect central location.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. But the room is quite old and realised the body wash and shampoo bottle were empty. Not sure the air conditioning is working we adjusted to the strongest wind but not cold at all. We still need to open the window because the room was too stuffy. They offer wide selection breakfast and the location is pretty good whereby the subway is located outside the hotel and the transport to city centre is right opposite the hotel.

We stayed one night at the Mercure Hotel in Budapest and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Everything was well organized and comfortable, which made our short stay very pleasant. When we return to Budapest, we will definitely choose this hotel again for our stay.
