We made reservations for two rooms well in advance; one for a couple and the other for two adults. In the reservation note, we specifically requested a double bed for one room and two single beds for the other. Unfortunately, we were not contacted about any issues with this request prior to our arrival. Upon checking in, we discovered that the room meant to have two single beds was instead equipped with a double bed. We immediately raised this issue with reception, and we were assured it would be resolved. However, by the time we returned to the hotel at 11:00 p.m, nothing had changed. We were then told that nothing could be done at that hour, and the two male adults were asked to share the same bed.
This situation was highly disappointing and far from the standards we expect from a professional hotel. Not only was the issue unresolved, but we were charged for a night where proper accommodation was not provided, and the guests were unable to sleep. This experience left us with a negative impression of the hotel. Additionally, we found the staff to lack a customer oriented approach, and we did not feel welcomed by their demeanor. While the hotel’s location and breakfast were satisfactory and they provided a new room on the next day, the quality of service and attention to guest needs require significant improvement. Given the circumstances, we feel it was unjust to be charged for that night and hope that you will take this feedback seriously to ensure no other guests have a similar experience.
