We are extremely happy with this hotel, the stuff at the reception is so polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone, especially the young ladies. The room was not large but very well equipped, everything worked properly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Good service at affordable price! Breakfast was very good and tasty. The only thing we were not happy about was the absence of tooth paste and brush, hopefully the property will solve this problem as well. Thanks for everything 🫶

Positive aspects: The hotel has an excellent central location, about a 10-minute walk from Parliament, and is very convenient for public transportation. The breakfast was also very good, offering a wide variety of both sweet and savory options. Negative aspects: I was disappointed to find that in a four-star hotel there were no toothbrushes or slippers provided in the room. While I understand that slippers are not very common in European hotels, toothbrushes are usually offered, as many guests do not bring them when traveling. I was told that a toothbrush could be purchased at the reception for €3, which I found unreasonable. Additionally, the room cleanliness was not up to the standard expected of a four-star hotel. The bed sheets had visible old stains; even if they were clean, stained linens should be replaced rather than reused

Terrible old humidity smell in the room, I had to sleep with open window and it's winter. The whole place seems poorly maintained except their lobby entrance.

Great hotel! The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the staff were very polite and helpful, and the location is absolutely perfect—right in the city center near everything. Highly recommend

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the room itself — it had no outside window, only an internal one, which meant we couldn’t get any fresh air at all. We also had no control over the temperature, and the room was so hot that we could barely sleep. I asked reception for a fan, which they provided straightaway, but unfortunately it only circulated the hot air, and the noise from it kept us awake even more. On the positive side, the location was excellent. We visited for the Christmas markets, and the hotel couldn’t have been better placed — close to the markets, close to the centre, and overall very convenient. A great location, but the room conditions really let the stay down.

Small boutique hotel that is a bit shabby but has a decent style in a perfect location. The staff was less that motivated, slow and just tedious to work with. Except the blond bartender in the hotel restaurant, she was capable of so much more and should be rewarded.

Nice hotel , nice location, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. No parking in the hotel while parking in front of the hotel in street is possible with 600 HUF /Hr.good place and recommended

We especially loved the rooftop terrace with its beautiful views of the city—it made our trip even more special. We truly felt at home here and will definitely choose Hotel President again on our next visit to Budapest. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a central location!”
