"I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much."

"Hotel on the outskirts of Budapest in a very remote and isolated neighborhood. The hotel is divided into two buildings several blocks apart. One is like a house converted into rooms, so cramped that there's no space and the ceilings are very low and sloping. One has no reception or anyone there, only someone to serve breakfast. We lost our room keys, which you have to take with you because there's no reception or anywhere to leave them, and they charged us €100—outrageous! Not recommended! A rip-off!"

"The view is undeniably stunning (although we had to pay an extra 40 Euros for this room with a view, on top of the regular room rate and taxes). However, the cleanliness was appalling. The carpet was covered in hair. When we returned to the hotel to sleep that night, we discovered the pillows and duvet smelled terrible, like stinky feet. After coming back, I even developed an allergic reaction on my inner thighs, a fungal infection with two ringworm spots! I reported this issue later, but received no response, no refund for the room, and the staff's attitude was very poor!"

I would recommend some upgrades, but i assume there's not enough guests to get back the value for the same price. The hand cream was empty in the bathroom, that was the worst thing i can tell. And the WiFi was terrible for watching live streams so i used my own mobilenet."

"First, about the initial issue: My travel plans were suddenly delayed, and even though I was abroad, contacting Trip.com's customer service was very easy. After explaining the situation, the customer service representative was very enthusiastic and said they would handle it immediately, also informing me of the next steps. Before my trip, I checked the SMS and contacted customer service again to confirm that the check-in date had been successfully changed (the representative said the original check-in time couldn't be modified, but confirmed that the hotel had successfully updated the new check-in date). I am very grateful for this! Next, about my arrival at the hotel: There was a slight hiccup during check-in, as we were told we had passed the check-in time. After some explanation on our part, they conducted a lengthy search, but fortunately, we were able to check in successfully. They also mentioned that if Trip.com could send another confirmation letter for the changed date, it would make the check-in process even smoother and faster. I am deeply thankful for this! Finally, regarding the hotel itself: It was clean and tidy, not far from the train station, making transportation very convenient. I would choose to stay here again next time! I always try to write thorough reviews now, hoping to help others a little! I hope to be a person who can spread warmth in the future!"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Right behind it is the commercial center Flosmarti Square, and just down from the square is Váci Street, which leads directly to the Central Market. The Parliament Building is only about a 20-minute walk away, so it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The room features a great wet/dry separation, and the design is very well thought out, with a spacious shower. The hotel's room service is excellent; they even come in every afternoon to turn down the bed, tidy up, and close the curtains to create a perfect sleeping atmosphere. The front desk check-in was a bit frosty. Initially, when we arrived around 1 or 2 PM, they insisted check-in was strictly at 3 PM. However, after asking someone nearby, who might have been a manager, they said we could check in. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."
