Excelente hotel, muy buenas instalaciones, el desayuno muy completo, todo muy cómodo.

At first, you may think this is a negative review for NH Buenos Aires Florida hotel. You’ll be wrong. However, some things should be said before I begin, including this: this is a franchise. This is important to note because, while that may feel comforting by the sense of knowing what you’re going to get, it’s a slippery slope. If that standard is good but not great, it creates a pretty average trip. Cleanliness was minimal. The elevators are small, slow, and out of service often. Some rooms had an off-putting, sewer smell when you enter. But despite all of this, the staff — truly and honestly — elevated our stay from meh to great. Starting with the first greeting at the door up until you turn in your keys, the staff’s attentiveness, caring attitude, and kindness and joy made our trip to Buenos Aires worth it. Even the quintessential, Argentinian humor shines brighter here. One last thing — if location is a top priority when searching for a place to stay, this is a great place to consider. Want to go to Florida? Good thing that’s in the street parallel to the hotel. Want to go to the Obelisk or the 9 de Julio Avenue? No problem — that’s an easy 20-minute walk, with enough shops, cafés, and restaurants to entertain yourself. Even just missing your local Starbucks? Walk 3 minutes and you’re right there, with the familiar, green mermaid coffee at your fingertips. Overall, while the franchise’s overall cleanliness and room quality standards are manageable at best, this location’s other benefits and qualities far surpass some of these negatives — making this stay a 4/5 in my opinion. I write this even after I fell down the stairs here. That’s how good it was.

Excellent location! Modern and comfortable rooms and common area. The rooms are not very quiet because of the busy avenue where it is located. Nice and courteous staff. Good place to stay in Buenos Aires.

Booked online based upon recommendation from nearby hospital I was visiting. Room rate for high season was very reasonable…and it is located just one block from the Florida Street shopping and galeria! Very clean, quiet and team was outstanding in guest support, tips and recommendations for things to do (and watch out for). I collaborated online to arrange transportation from EZE (an hour away in traffic) for my pickup, as well as for my trip to the hospital and back to EZE. Billing was made to the hotel, very easy to coordinate! Breakfast buffet was very tasty and plentiful options. Well worth staying here…I will come back on future trips to BA!

This hotel is excellently located near to the main attractions of the city and right next to the famous square where all things are celebrated, especially world cups. Outside are a number of nice restaurants and tourist shops. Though it boasts a bar and swimming pool you have to go to the building next door to use them. Receptionist staff were lovely and friendly, as well as helpful. The rooms themselves were also of a very high standard. The city hop on hop off bus stop is also only a few minutes walk away

Great price, location and staff. We were able to get into our room early. The rooms are clean and the same as any other Ibis. The bed is comfortable and Soap, Shampoo & Conditioner are provided. The continental breakfast was absolutely perfect to get you started and the coffee is great. A huge thank you to the very kind gentleman on the reception who told us where to find somewhere to change money and spoke perfect English when my Spanish was only at beginners level. We are staying here again after our cruise and for the service, price bracket and location you will be hard pushed to beat it. Thank you to all the staff at Ibis Obelisco.

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! Checking in was rather smooth. For those a wee bit more tech savvy than I, would find the QR code style of filling the required information a breeze. We used this hotel as a base so that we could leave our one luggage behind as we travelled to various parts of Argentina with our cabin bags. All in all we spent a good 8 nights at this hotel. The staff was great. From the doorman to front desk to kitchen and housekeeping....excellent service from all. Special mention has to go to Gaston. His warm and friendly demeanour made us feel valued and at home. The breakfast is nothing to shout about as it is basically the same everyday but it is enough to keep you going till lunch. The staff at the breakfast lounge were on the ball and kept everything topped up and tables were cleaned constantly. Kudos to them. We had the chance to try out 3 different rooms. #807 had a smell and I hope it's been eradicated. Had to clean the aircon filter as the machine was choking with a thick layer of dust; worked like a charm after the wash down. The handle bar for the bath tub was loose and dislodged from the wall. Told Gaston about it and hopefully it was fixed. #804 was not bad but I had to also clean the aircon fliter..same scenario. Also the same story with the handle bar at the bathtub. #206 was a good room. Aircon filters need no cleaning. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. Room and toilet amenities were more than adequate. Rooms were spacious. The location is awesome. Walking distance to most places of interest. There's lots of mini supermarkets all around. Directly opposite the hotel is a great place for 'parilla' (barbecue meats). Quite reasonably priced and it closes at midnight. If you're dying for some greens/salads...about 200 m left of the hotel, as you exit, is a diner-like establishment call D'Italia at the intersection. Their salad options may not be huge but they do serve a good portion of it. Note: money changers are aplenty at Florida street (Pedestrian only street) about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Good rates. Changed a few times from different guys and have not had a bad experience. I would normally give a 3* or a 3.5* rating but the entire staff made up for it. We will be heading back to Argentina and the Dazzler Maipu is definitely one of our options. Highly Recommended!
