Hotel di Haeundae-gu, Busan

Overall the hotel is very new, the room is spacious, the smart TV is easy to use, quite popular among both international and local guests. The convenience store inside the hotel 1st floor is great especially during winter time, we don't need to go out of the building at all. Also you can refill your water bottles at the dispenser located on every floor. We arrived earlier than the check in time, there are self serviced lockers for storing baggages. And then the hotel staff invited us to check in 1 hour earlier. The desks on the 3rd floor has a good view of the beach and like a modern co working space. However, there is no cotton pads / hair brush provided, which is a bit inconvenient.

The hotel is not bad nor very good. The lighting is a bit poor in the room, and only one light switch for the whole room. It’s very close to Haeundae, which is very good. Close to the subway station and the beach. There’re lots of restaurants and shops nearby, quite convenient.

🏨 Fairfield by Marriott Busan 314 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, 48099 Stayed two nights in Fairfield by Marriott Busan to be close to Marina City for an event in mid October 2024. 📍Location: Fairfield by Marriott Busan is located in a less eventful part of Busan. Not the best pick if you want to be where the action is. I have stayed near the Busan train station and in Nampo previously and enjoyed those parts of Busan more. 🚕 Accessibility: it takes about 15 minutes' walk to the hotel (with luggage on uneven roads) from the drop off point at What The Burger which is where the Haeundae Intercity Bus alighted customers from Incheon Airport. The bus journey takes close to 5.5 hours with two rest stops and a stop at Nopo Terminal. Kakao Taxi fare from Fairfield by Marriott Hotel to Haeundae Intercity Bus Terminal costs about KRW5000-6000. 🛌🏽 Room: No complaints for the price point and what you see is what you get as befitting a Marriott property. There is construction opposite the hotel so paying for the city view on a high floor will avoid that if you are bothered by a construction view. The sea is not nearby so look for another option if that is important. 👣 Amenities: I did read another review about the paper thin room slippers and wisely packed a pair from home. 🍲 Food Options: I arrived at night and didn't find too many food options in the evening as everything seems to be closed early. There are convenience shops nearby and a Paris Baguette a few blocks away. Hotel breakfast is available at Bistro 314 on Level 2 of the hotel at a discounted rate of 16,500KRW for hotel guests if you book in advance. 🏋️ There is a fitness centre on Basement 1 next to the self service coin laundry. Rating: 3⭐ Stay here if you have business nearby and want to save time travelling but not as a tourist with limited time wanting to explore the best of what Busan has to offer.

I don’t recommend this hotel at all. I couldn’t sleep for my 3 nights stay. First thing, the reception doesn’t understand English. They didn’t know about my reservation. After 10 minutes, I was given my room keys. The room was clean but the trouble began at night. Light was constantly coming out through the blinds and curtains. I don’t know why they had see through white blinds and mesh curtains. I called the receptionist but she didn’t understand my message. Second day, complained to trip.com. They called the hotel but the management lied and said the guests have been upgraded to a different room. Nobody contacted us but they were constantly lying to trip.com. I went to the receptionist and asked her to fix light issues. There was also a lot of construction sound and I was really tired after sleepless nights. The receptionist said she would get it fixed on the 3rd day but that was a lie too. Nobody came to fix the light problem. There was no balcony as advertised. Kitchenware was missing. The staff doesn’t understand simple English like cutlery. Nobody came to collect trash or give water during my 3 nights stay. Hotel looks stylish but their customer service is terrible. I don’t recommend staying in this hotel especially if you are a foreigner. I took these pictures at 6 am in the morning when I was awake because of sunlight and construction noise. During the night, city lights were coming in. Trip.com compensated me with 1500 coins but that doesn’t soothe the 3 sleepless nights. My entire trip was uncomfortable because of this hotel.

설 연휴에 방문해 알차게 놀고 갑니다 :) 1. 체크인 때 웰컴 푸드로 파베 초콜릿 주시고, 안내도 앉아서 편하게 들었습니다. 2. 방 컨디션 청결했고요, 자쿠지도 깨끗했습니다. 호텔이 일반적으로는 아주 건조한데 자쿠지 덕에 셀프 가습도 가능해서 너무 편히 지냈어요. 3. 서비스로 사용할 수 있었던 4층 위스키앤배럴에서 맛있는 위스키도 한 잔씩 하고 포함되어 있던 조식도 잘 먹었습니다! (전복/장어/소갈비 솥밥 중에 전복, 장어 먹었는데 전복이 아주 맛났습니다ㅎㅎ 장어는 저희 입맛에는 양념이 좀 달더라구요..!)

Room with ocean view is so much more cost-efficient than other hotels providing similar views. Still expensive for our budget though, but definitely worth every penny. The staff there also deserved praise for their respectfulness and formality, professionalism much alike what I saw of 5-star hotels in K-drama series. Definitely will keep this hotel in mind when I return to Busan in the future!

Room size with amenities and location are excellent! Wasn’t please with the check in process(the female staff don’t seem friendly maybe because she is. It fluent in English),breakfast table arrangement(was always given the furthest possible table from the buffet area),my toilet amenities weren’t refill for the 3rd night stay. The breakfast spread is reasonable but every morning is EXACTLY the same! However, every morning, I requested for a taxi at the lobby, the staff whom assisted me always smile and got me a taxi fast. Lobby is comfortable and clean to wait for my guide or relax in.

Hotel is clean and new. Location is good w ocean view. However we booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults but was only given 2 bath towels as we were told the hotel only provides 2 per day. After our request  the hotel staff gave us 2 more bath towels meant for tomorrow ?? .   There are only 4 coffee capsules for our 4d3N stay. We would expect daily replenishment.  Anyway upon request the staff passed us 4 more.   Think the stay can be more pleasant.

Park Hyatt Busan is located in the Haeundae district of Busan, to the North of Busan Station. Getting here cost about 20,000 KRW by taxi. While the hotel is located somewhat far from some of the major tourist attractions like Gamcheon village, the amenities and the service of this hotel were absolutely impeccable. From the moment we alighted from the taxi, porters took our luggage bags and we were whisked to the hotel lobby on the 30th floor. The elevator doors opened to an expansive and impressive view of Busan. The standard deluxe room was very spacious for 2 persons, clean, and luxurious. Everything felt very modern. The sockets were also international, obviating the need for adaptors. The views from the room were fantastic too. The bathroom comes with 2 sinks, a shower equipped with Le Labo soaps, and a bath tub. The toilet was equipped with a Toto Japanese bidet. We will definitely return if we are ever back in Busan.

Unbelievable stay, one of the best hotel experiences ever, extremely helpful and welcoming staff, very comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Additionally, It is close to convenience stores. However, Sauna is not free and you can't enter the pool more than once a day. Be notified that they take around 200 thousand won as a deposit per night and they return it immediately when you check out. This amount is insensible in my opinion. Nevertheless it was an excellent hotel and i will definitely come back.
