Conforme llegamos la primera impresion que nos llevamos no fue muy buena ya que de entrada la chica de recepcion fue bastante desagradable con nosotros y con otros clientes. La cosa luego mejoro ya que al subir a la habitacion vimos que para ser un hostal la habitacion es amplia y comoda y si es cierto decir que la limpieza es de 10,pero fue un sabor agridulce ya que cada vez que alguna de las habitaciones de al lado abria un grifo el ruido de las tuberias es infernal. El hostal tiene una ubicacion perfecta ya que estas en pleno casco antiguo.

La situación: perfecta El hotel: precioso. Reformar un antiguo palacio de forma moderna pero conservando la esencia. El trato: impecable Precio: bien Repetiría de nuevo. Además admiten mascotas y las tratan con mucho cariño. Aconsejo coger el parking del hotel si es posible. Hay que avisar antes.

This is a really nice hotel and I had a lovely big room. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. Soaps are in dispensers so there are few toiletries for a standard room. There’s a mini bar in the bedroom, a desk and chair as well as an armchair. There is no restaurant but there is an open plan breakfast room through the reception. The lady on reception helped me find somewhere to eat and see and was very friendly. The only downside was the slight smell of cigarettes in the room despite the notice in the room forbidding it. The lovely cleaner said they would have happily changed my room had I mentioned it. I enjoyed the city and Plaza Mayor.

Getting with your car to the indoor parking is quite adventurous, taking you up (or down, unclear) with an elevator, but we managed with a rather large Citroen SUV. The parador is a very welcoming place, huge and in itself worth the visit, located within an ancient convent. Small but enjoyable swimming pool next to the city walls. Comfortable room with good beds. Easy walk into the quaint town of Plasencia with a cosy terrace at the Iglesia de San Nicolas. Breakfast is taken in the old refectorium, nice.

We used this hotel as a stopping point on the way to the Algarve, it is ideally situated near the main road. My husband is a wheelchair user and we asked for an accessible room (room 123) which was perfect. The twin beds are large and a good height for a wheelchair transfer, there is room under the bed for a hoist too. We moved the bed against the wall to help him with the transfer, plenty of room to manoeuvre his chair. Excellent bathroom for his needs too. The staff are very kind and helpful, we enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant and we very well looked after during the evening. Lots of parking and easy to find. Really pleased with this hotel and we have booked to stay again later this month.
