Typic Oasis Sa Tanca

An Oasis in Cala Llonga Have just returned from this wonderful apartment complex for the fourth time and definitely not the last. The service we have received has once again been exceptional from even before we arrived until we departed. My wife and I started going there on holiday years ago as holidaymakers but now feel like we have made friends for life with the hotel and staff. From the wonderful reception staff with special praise for the exceptional Yolanda,to the owner Monica Ramon Mari who managed our booking perfectly for many months prior to our arrival in a professional and first class way. The room was perfect and the housekeepers were magnificent with the complex spotlessly clean and welcoming especially the pool area and bar,restaurant. Coming on to the bar,restaurant area, where we have to say the food was superb we must give an extra special mention to Vicky,Joe,Marion and Sergio (chef) who were sensational.An extra special mention to Vicky and Jo who worked tirelessly throughout our time there to ensure we had first class treatment and are an asset to the complex. Can’t wait to return.

Lovely apartments, a 2 minute walk from the beach, and 5 mins from bars and restaurants. Apartment was very clean and well appointed. Basic kitchen supplies but more than adequate for our purposes. Only downside was our kettle didn’t switch itself off, there were no wine glasses and the balcony chairs were very uncomfortable. Could have supplied washing up liquid sachets too. But beds were comfy and shower room was great. Rooms were cleaned every 2nd day which was fine. Air com broke down on our last night but they can happen anywhere. Massive shout out to the loveliest receptionist ever- the amazing Antonio!! He checked us in and was kind, funny, helpful and went above and beyond in helping make our entire stay very happy. We miss him already! We would definitely stay here again.

Beware... this is one of those places that looks great in the photos & somehow gets good reviews (also see: easily pleased British tourists with low expectations) - but couldn't be further from the image portrayed. I'll start with the good points first because honestly, there are so few to mention: the hotel employees (reception we mostly dealt with) were pleasant and helpful, the adjoining cafe does a pretty decent and reasonably priced breakfast, coffee is good, staff also friendly/helpful. The shower was pretty good - strong water flow and nice hot water. Now for the bad points (and oh, where to begin???) First off, our room, despite almost rendering us comatose from the smell of bleach when we first entered, felt grimy and unclean; it was the type of place you didn't want to walk around barefoot. There were hairs everywhere including, unbelievably, stuck to the ceiling of the bathroom (how???) Trying not to look up was a feat in of itself. Our balcony with a view was of the main street and a vacant lot (grass and dirt mostly). We would have kept our balcony door open to admire the urban view except for the fairly constant stench of cigarette smoke wafting into our apartment from the balconies either side of us and/or below. Never mind the fact that we could hear virtually every intimate detail of every conversation on said adjacent balconies (added bonus if they were late-night/early-morning boozers) If we were extra lucky, we could hear them through the bedroom and bathroom walls as well. In case we were feeling noise-deprived there was always the bars located directly (within metres) behind the hotel that stayed open until the early hours (2-3am during the week). Pro Tip: bring your best set of ear plugs and/or heavy duty tranquillisers. The pool area was frankly depressing. I've seen bigger backyard pools and I'm still trying to understand what the attraction is for anyone to spend their entire day on a plastic sunbed lying around a concrete pit of water when there's a reasonably nice beach a few minute's walk away. Cala Llonga itself is ok...nothing special - a few small restaurants, cafes. bars etc. We spent all day every day out, for as long as we could, exploring Ibiza in our rental car so as to spend as little time in our room as possible. The kitchenette was basic but functional, however unlike most places with similar faciliaties, Typic Oasis Sa Tanca doesn't consider the supply of a couple of very basic (cheap) fundamentals such as a few sachets of dishwashing liquid and a dishcloth or sponge, necessary. If you want to use the room safe (a necessity imho), you have to pay for it!!! All in all, one of the worst 6 nights we've spent anywhere in terms of the actual accommodation. Definitely one to forget.

Sa Tanca apartments are the best you can get. So clean and comfortable. Staff are so pleasant. The food in the restaurant is top class. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Only downside is no package holidays available which when flying from Newcastle (dearest airport) its makes the holiday quite pricey

Établissement très propre, bien situé et qui offre de belles prestations. Chambres bien agencées et confortables. Accueil parfait de Roberto. Le personnel est particulièrement attentionné ! Seule la restauration est quelque peu à revoir

Vicinissimo al mare a Cala LLonga questo residence offre camere e appartamenti recentemente rinnovati e con ottima pulizia. Avevamo un bilocale con ampio bagno e terrazza che dava sulla strada. Il personale di reception è veramente gentilissimo e disponibile, ho avuto un problema di salute e si sono sempre adoperati per aiutarmi. C'e anche una bella piscina interna con lettini gratuiti e alcuni molto ampi a a pagamento. L'appartamento ha arredamento abbastanza recente soltanto il materasso non era perfetto e le sedie interne e d esterne in plastica molto scomode oltre che rumorose cosi' che i vostri vicini quando le spostano ad ogni ogni del giorno e della notte si sentono forti rumori. Unica pecca sono 2 bar notturni al lato piscina che durante la notte fino alle 3 o 4 di notte sono occupati da persone vocianti e urlanti che vi costringono a tenere strettamente serrate le imposte per poter dormire. Parcheggio riservato davanti al residence. Possibilità di fare colazione in struttura sotto al residence a circa 12 euro.
