Very basic stay. A short walk from the train station. They allow pets which might be a positive for some. I heard dog’s barking in the night which I did not appreciate. Breakfast was basic but adequate and staff was helpful.

We expected more of Logis, having had outstanding service elsewhere. First we were given a room stinking of tobacco, this was changed when we complained, but the decor was at best tired and smelt stale. It was obvious the young and hard working receptionist was coping alone, and seemed panicked when she wrongly thought we wanted to have dinner - there was one guy dining and she was obviously knocking stuff up in the kitchen alone, as well as manning reception, the phones, and the bar. Retiring to bed, we found there was no hot water to shower. The owner did appear quickly when called and agreed the hot water was inexplicably turned off and that it would take an hour to heat up.... Of the 4 EV charging points, 1 was broken and 2 out of order (not sure what the difference is). The low power 22kw charger was already occupied. We are not looking forward to breakfast.

Calais is renowned for having a large number of poor quality hotels. This one is a doozie! Cold and unwelcoming, and lacking any graces whatsoever, it has little to recommend itself. The room was clean! There was one person who was the receptionist, bar server, waitress, and "cook" (it is all hugely overpriced "ping" food.) People say, "but things could be worse." Yeah, for the migrants living rough! Staying here is not "a walk on the wild side." It is stop off for the living dead.

I spent a night at the Logis Hotel Cottage on 23 April 2024 before my Eurotunnel journey from Calais to Folkestone. After a long and tiring drive on several autoroutes from Bordeaux in the Southwest of France, I received a warm welcome from Madame Mandy Caudrillier, the receptionist on duty, who quickly checked me into my room, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Customer service was also very good in the bar and restaurant where I enjoyed one of the three daily items on the Table d'Hote menu - a delicious casserole along with some very nice red wine. For the price that I paid, and especially the hotel's close location to the Eurotunnel check-in, I was more than satisfied with the Logis Hotel Cottage.

we have stayed here many times over about 20 years, its been great for easy access to port and eurotunnel and fairly close to cite europe for shopping. Staff are friendly but it appears understaffed especially at breakfast. There isn't the range of foods at breakfast as previous years and the only time we could have eaten evening meal was 9pm which was too late for our grandchildren so had to eat elsewhere. When we returned only a few tables with diners which made us think perhaps only 1 or 2 people in kitchen if they were classed as fully booked. Bar drinks reasonable price for a hotel though. Rooms dated and shower attachment broken but plenty hot water. Staff happy to provide extra milk for coffee/tea.

We chose this hotel based upon the reputation of Logis and it had a secure carpark. The rooms were gloomy, smelt of stale urine and unwashed clothing. The trip around the washbasin was disgusting, as can be seen in the photo. There was no soap in the shower dispenser and only one bath towel for the two of us. On the plus side, it was close to the ferry port and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would I stay here again? No!

Requested, adjacent rooms one of which to be twin bedded. Shouldn't be a problem. It was, apparently the request didn't come through on the booking form. We had a printed copy showing the request. The rooms given to us, could not have been further away from each other on different floors. It was joint booking, so why wouldn't you place them near to each other being a family booking even if you couldn't get the beds as requested? The rooms are dated and basic, that's why they're budget. I get that. The carpet on the corridor is heavily stained with what looks like food. Still the TV and hairdryer don't work. The only solution was "do you have a remote". Yes. End of conversation. Not the greatest of check ins. Been here, before, it's great position for an early start and the Eurotunnel. That's where it ends sadly.

We were just looking for a budget hotel for 2 nights close to Eurotunnel and Cite Europe. We had stayed at this hotel some years ago and remember it being perfectly located just off the A16 so ideal for a little pre-Christmas shopping trip. The room we were first allocated had a couple of issues with electrical appliances but we were very quickly moved to another room where everything was working fine. The bathroom was clean, the water hot, the bed fresh and comfortable, the heating good and the TV had many stations. The reception staff were super efficient at solving the issue and continued to go just that step beyond the normal. How many times have you had the receptionist knock on your door to ask if you required further supplies of coffee/tea tray stock - in a budget hotel? OK, so it's not The Ritz or The Savoy but an extremely good price and great value for money. We didn't try the restaurant but the menu board looked interesting. I rarely recommend but if you're on a tight budget this place is definitely worth try. We would happily return.

Convenient for the Channel Tunnel is about the highest regard for the hotel. The room was clean and the shower was OK. The evening meal was unremarkable, for restaurant think formica. My view is somewhat tainted as well by the fact that on checking out no itemised bill was available for me to verify as the printer wasn't working. The bill emailed me was someone else's, which totalled 150 euro more than mine, and as yet, one month, I have not received a correct one in spite of telephoning and e-mailing the hotel. Fortunately, I was charged the correct amount at the time.
