Great service. I called ahead to request a late check-in because my flight was delayed, and they had someone at the desk when I finally got there. They also helped me get a new room key card when mine wasn’t working properly. The hotel is also in the heart of downtown and close to a C-Train station.

The room and hallways were outdated and retro but still clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had a bizarre issue with the check-in where the front desk tried to tell us our reservation had been cancelled months prior, which was not true. We didn't cancel our reservation, and if they did on their end they never notified us of it. In fact, I was still receiving emails about checking in for my reservation the day before we arrived, so it was very stressful and confusing to get there and be told our reservation was cancelled months ago. Luckily they still had rooms for us, but still. Get your reservation and notification system sorted out.

Everything was great - clean rooms, comfy bed, great breakfast, convenient shuttle to airport, very friendly and helpful staff - EXCEPT, in a hotel with “no smoking “ signs all over, we opened our room and were greeted by a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. We arrived after midnight and had to leave early, so I did not request a different room, and boy do I regret that decision. I had the worst night of sleep ever- the smoke smell was so strong. So if you plan to stay here, be sure you don’t get room 217, and ask if the room you are assigned was ever a smoking room. That’s all I can figure is what happened here. I would be very leery of staying here again based on what happened, and in spite of all the nice amenities the hotel offers.

I mistakenly booked this Comfort Inn for my recent trip to Cowtown. At first I was upset at myself for not double checking when I received my confirmation email. My bad, I guarantee it won’t happen gain. Despite my error, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and modernization of this hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I am flying out of YYC.

While this Executive Residency hotel is considered an airport property due to its proximity, it also provides easy access to Cross Iron Mills, the largest outlet mall, the downtown core and the QE II Highway.
We are an airport property, with proximity to the urban center, but in a somewhat suburban setting. Amenities include a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub area, well-equipped fitness center, and meeting space for 150 people. There is a full-service restaurant offering a full complimentary hot breakfast for the guests or a grab and go option for breakfast as well. We stayed overnight on Apr 30 3rd floor Between 10-11 , we heard ,commotion in the hallway, multiple voices screaming , fighting , profanity , running and someone trying to enter push our door . We called front desk twice to send security but unfortunately I did not feel a sense of urgency . I even asked if I should just call 911 but I was told to calm down. Well , that was easy to say . We felt we were in danger. I sure hope nobody was hurt including staff but that kind of violence should be actioned asap to ensure the safety of guests and the hotel staff . Needless to stay the one night we spent to get sleep before a 10hr flight the next morning turned out to be a sleepless night . We could have probably stayed at the airport uncomfortable but not feeling uneasy for our safety . Not blaming the front desk , I want them to protect themselves too but security or a call to the police could have de-escalated the more than an hour fighting outside our door . Hotel was more than decent if we exclude that particular incident .

We stayed at the Grey Eagle Resort hotel for the DreamSonic 2023 event on July 18, 2023. The staff of the hotel was amazing, especially Francis and Stevie. When we checked in early, Stevie and Francis worked hard to try to get us checked in asap. They are so friendly, nice and professional! When we were waiting at the lobby, Stevie checked in with us and offered us free lemonade water and chocolate cookies. Stevie and Francis made us feel at home. The room was also great! The mattress was so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there so much because of the high-quality customer service and professionalism Francis and Stevie provided and showed. We are definitely want to come back to the Grey Eagle Hotel next time in town!

The hotel is new, beautiful and well located. The breakfast room is impressive with its size, tall ceilings, views and terrace. The breakfast itself is great with its variety, including waffles and a delicious South Asian(?) vegetable stew each day. The suites are large and well equipped, and the bed comfortable. Now if only the staff could treat customers a bit better.
We paid $30 for underground parking, which was important to us because we got an upgraded rental car and were liable for it. On the second day, the garage was completely full, with more cars entering the garage - thanks to a broken capacity indicator that permanently shows 208 spaces.
Staff basically blamed it on the fact that the garage is a private facility unrelated to the hotel. They sent us to two nearby surface lots. One was only available till 8:00 at a cost of $22.52. The second one was a dirt field.
1. I don’t care whose lot it is. You sold me access to it at an extortionate price and did not mention any other options, implicitly endorsing it.
2. Don’t sell more spaces than you have, especially at that price.
3. Know and explain options. Don’t direct your customers to a lot that only sells space till 8:00 for over 3 times the price as the next lot. You are wasting my time.
Then at 4:00 am, we were woken up by a loud motor noise coming from the fridge. We had to move it and unplug it (it’s a full size fridge, not a hotel fridge). The clerk’s reaction? “Sorry about that, I’ll tell maintenance.”
We had one night parking taken off the bill. No consideration for the hassle both from the parking and the fridge.
You can do better. Better policies, better communication and a bit more generosity.
Overall, not a good experience.

KKathyWe loved our experience at The Dorian! Room was beautiful with so many details covered. Bathroom was huge (hard to find these days) and we especially loved the details in the wet bar cart. Service was friendly from check in to check out. We did not eat on site, but the location was in walking distance to our dinner date. Only negative was the cleaning staff talking loudly in the hallway at 9 am for about 20 minutes. I should have let them know their voices carried into our room, but instead didn't say anything...I regret that after the fact. All in all, we had a great time and will for sure book at the Dorian again!

The staff were very accommodating, the room was comfortable, and I would recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a room convenient to the Stampede grounds. If you’re travelling light, the walk from the 300 (airport) bus stop is not too far.

Stayed here for business - great location to the airport and only a 20 minute UBER ride to downtown. The Hotel pays for your taxi to/from the airport. Really nice suite, would be good for a party of 3 or 4 even. Complimentary Continental breakfast included - not spectacular but good enough to fill the gap. Restaurant in neighbouring hotel opens at 4pm, so no place to eat close by until then. I'll stay here again for sure.

PPengguna TetamuMy family stayed here for one night upon our arrival in Calgary since our flight wasn't scheduled to arrive until 10 pm and we were heading out to Banff the next day. It was a good thing that we did as our checked luggage got delayed for a day and it took a until 1130 pm until we were able to arrive at the hotel due to the paperwork involved. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from baggage claim. Our first impression upon check in was that it was a modern hotel with good service. We quickly checked in and then came back down to try to grab some dinner. Last call at the restaurant was at 11:45. Only a limited menu was available since the kitchen had already started cleaning up, so we ordered a burger, fish and chips, a reuben, and a salad. After a 10 minute wait, the food came out and it was really good. Everything was cooked very well, and even my wife who doesn't like salad, wanted more salad. I would rate the restaurant as a place worth visiting as a standalone restaurant. The next morning, my kids had a complementary breakfast due to my titanium status which they enjoyed as well. My wife went down later and had the salmon and another salad which she ate every single bite of. The hotel is also located right next to the car rental counters so it was a 2 minute walk to get our rental car when we left for Banff. I highly recommend this airport hotel when you are in Calgary and be sure to eat at the restaurant. We're planning to stop in for a bite before our departing flight.

PPengguna TetamuMy friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Blackfoot! When we were checking in, we told the man at the front desk that we were heading upstairs to play Kings Cribbage. He said, ”Why don't you come down and enjoy a Bailey's in the lounge, and we'll turn on the fire for you?” It was a lovely suggestion, and so we sat by the cozy fireplace, drank Baileys, and played Kings Cribbage until midnight. A wonderful memory for us!

CChengMy stay at Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North was fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, making it perfect for travelers. I loved the free shuttle service, which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the new coin laundry facilities, which were super convenient during my stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of options to start the day right. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through Calgary!

PPengguna TetamuBeen a few times, keep coming back. Located in a a cluster of hotels, there's not much within walking distance except a McDonalds, but close to main roads. I arrived Victoria day weekend, so parking (and hotel) were quite full - but I always found a spot. Desk staff were fine, polite and efficient. Breakfast was OK - fair selection of food, could do with some cheese and some more fruit, though. Has a decent sized swimming pool, looks quite clean, and a washer/drier. Small gym as well. Ended up in the adjoining (older) building, not in the main tower. These rooms look older, also - no lift, have to use the stairs only. Window faces onto the open corridor. Room was fine, fairly spacious, storage room OK. Had a big fridge, a sink, a microwave, an oven..... Bathroom fine. Had a small table and two chairs - as usual, chairs too low for table.... TV had a fair selection of channels but was analogue. Wifi was a problem - signal was strong enough for phone but my laptop had a real problem getting connected and staying so. a/c heating worked fine.
