We've been to this hotel for the past 15 years I've never known it so bad,poeple we've seen here advised us of a nurovirus as hit the hotel,,,,yes it as big time my son and wife as had it,,, my son was better after eating out my wife too,, but my son as eaten pasta in restaurant today,, now being sick again the hotel staff are giving hand sanitiser out the house maids have started wearing masks today I've not eaten at hotel in 4 days now only cheese cob at snack bar this season I would advise poeple to be careful sol parma nova Web site admin is blocking 🚫 customers making this known

My wife and I visited this hotel for a week at the end of May 2024. The hotel itself is very well located being a five minute walk to an excellent nearby beach. There are also a wide variety of shops and bars etc nearby also. Directly outside the hotel there is a regular bus service to Palma and the airport. The hotel facilities are very good. There is entertainment outside every night which is very international and includes acrobats and balancing acts which are of a high standard. Also in the inside bars there is a live act or karaoke every night. The entertainment team work extremely hard throughout the day providing activities for children and adults alike. The bedrooms are not spacious but very clean and had TV ,air conditioning and also a small fridge and free safe. Some people complained that the lifts were small and too slow but we were ok with them , and being on the ninth floor we used them quite a lot! The staff are all very friendly. From reception to the cleaners and bar staff you cannot question their attitudes. The drinks on offer were OK although not as strong as usual. Also you had plastic glasses throughout the day whether you drank inside or out. What let's this hotel down is the quality,standard and presentation of the food on offer. The hotel is split into two blocks and you could use either restaurant. It made little difference which you chose because each one had major faults. Breakfast was more or less acceptable but lunch and evening food was very poor. It was badly presented and of a low standard. The food was luke warm at best . We are not fussy eaters but has to eat out on more than one occasion because nothing on offer was suitable. A fellow guest mentioned on the first day that a number of guests had suffered badly with vomiting and sickness. We were aware that hotel policy required you had to sanitize hands before entering the dining room. Also staff were busily cleaning all surfaces continuously. Therefore the hotel owners must have been aware of the problem but no message was conveyed to the guests during our time there. We managed to avoid the sickness bug until my wife fell very ill on the last but one day. She spent the whole day in bed after vomiting continuously. I managed to avoid illness fortunately. We had to put the illness down to the food problems and it was a very disappointing end to the holiday. We have been regular holiday makers abroad and had never suffered illness before . The negatives of the food quality means that we would never book this hotel in the future which is sad as it has so much to offer otherwise.

This was our 5th visit an we already can’t wait to return in October. First off we saw no one poorly!! The food was plentiful and well cooked always something to eat. The chefs work tirelessly to keep producing food. Our room was pool view and our lovely cleaning lady’s always left fresh towels and changed the bedding mid stay. Lovely clean room with a pretty view for sitting on the balcony. Reception staff always have a smile and remembered us which is always a pleasure to chat with them. Elisabeth is a credit to this hotel she will help any way she can and goes above and beyond. Bar staff friendly and get any Que down quickly. All in all we had another fabulous stay in Palmanova the area is beautiful and everything close by. Go enjoy your holiday at this fab hotel and make memories

I came in October 2023. This visit was good but not as good as October . The food overall was fine for what you pay for. In comparison to October 2023, although the day entertainment was superb especially for families and children, there was no substantial quality entertainment later in the evening due adults - it was very lame. If you are an adult you’ll need to leave the hotel to get well entertained. The main bar near Sol 2 gets huge ques and there is seldom enough bar staff on … often one .This is not acceptable as customers should be enjoying their holiday. It could be a strategy by the hotel to reduce its costs (stalling service). Overall it’s a nice place — The staff are nice ,food nice , great location but based on October I’d go back,based on may 24 I’m not sure as the adult evening entertainment was terrible, and waiting in that Q at the bar did not make me feel valued as a guest. I may research other hotels in the area as the experience was so much less enjoyable than October .

Absolutely shocking hotel, we arrived as a family and was put into a standard room with a cot, a tiny bedroom with a two year old is absolutely ridiculous for the price we paid! Food was absolutely vile couldn’t eat anything from there and we aren’t fussy! Met so many people there that had been so poorly even people that had been going over 20 years, we also hired my mum a wheelschair and the reception told us to store this in the luggage room on a night time, one morning we went to get it, it had gone! Reception had no clue and wasn’t even bothered to check the cameras, we had to ask around 4 times before we eventually got an answer and that was only because the jet2 rep was there! we also ended up so poorly here and my daughter caught chicken pox (not to blame the hotel on this part as this could happen at any time). Never again would I go anywhere near this hotel!

So I would highly advise that nobody goes near this hotel. My girlfriend and I contracted Nurovirus half way into the first week. Instead of closing the hotel, they said the virus has came from England and it wasn’t there fault, and they thought that by putting a member of staff outside the buffet with a bottle of hand sanitizer would be of any use? On top of that, the rooms riddled with cockroaches and the filth under the beds is disgusting. Horrible experience. Horrible food, DO NOT GO THERE.

On arrival our room was filthy. Ear wax on bottom of bed hairs in the bath floors hadn’t been swept went to reception to ask if they could clean again they sent someone however was still dirty complained 3 times in total then just gave up. Beds are the worse I’ve ever tried to sleep on like sleeping on a concrete slab. Room extremely small. Food absolutely diabolical had burger one night and this was raw food is always cold even if you go as soon as restaurant opens. A lot of people had complained of food poisoning hotels solution to this was hand sanitiser as you walked in restaurant. Drinks a very cheap and nasty. Definitely not a 4* maybe a 3 at best. No kettle in room either Location is good very close to beach. Staff are friendly entertainment is ok different activities on throughout the day and evening. Would not return

Avoid at all costs, we’ve been here since Monday 13th may ,food is horrendous and uncooked there’s either a horrible bug or food poisoning going round we come as a couple with a 2 year old baby and also had friends staying here every single one of us has been bedbound for atleast 3 days ,one of the nights my daughter and my partner threw up all over the bed so I went down to reception at 1am to be told I couldn’t have any sheets or any cleaning equipment,after a 30 minute battle with staff they finally give us some, also asked the staff what to do with our sheets full of sick to which they said throw them in corridor and cleaners will see them in the morning , I replied well if this is a bug or virus that is very unhygienic, staff could not of cared less just tried fobbing us off and covering the problem , overall very disappointing will 10000% never be returning

Recently stayed here. Hotel itself is nice. Pool was absolutely freezing, the sea was warmer. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little on the small side. Although there is a small fridge in the room, there was no kettle or anything to make a drink when you first wake up. Food was not good at all. Mostly chicken or pork. The food played havoc with my ibs, spent a lot of time in the bathroom. As did my husband who doesnot have ibs. After the first couple of days we ate out for lunch and dinner. At breakfast we stuck with toast and cereal. Entertainment was pretty poor. Have stayed in other resorts with much better entertainment. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
