Ulasan Creekside Inn Downtown

It's a kind of motel. If you planning to stay here, remember to prepare for drinking water. Tap water is not drinkable, but hotel doesn't provide water dispenser ( instead only ice dispenser, which I think stupid for the weather there is cold), and even no bottled water at all in the room, also no water kettle. Shops are quiet far, have to drive, and closed a bit early. So if you came late, no water, it might be a big problem. The room and bed is quite ok though.

This is a great place to stay. The receptionist in the office makes it even better!!! Very sweet woman. They are lucky to have an employee that cares so much. Quiet, clean and welcoming. Close to downtown shopping and places to eat. Will be staying again in the future.

The room and grounds were very clean except for a dead fly on the window sill, and the decor is pleasant and soothing. It looks like there is recent remodeling. Unfortunately, the shutters allow a lot of light to enter, so it might be difficult to sleep. The property is within walking distance of shops and eateries. The one unpleasant aspect was the middle-aged dark haired woman at the front desk. During check-in, she was brusque and abrupt, avoided eye contact, and generally made us uncomfortable. Her demeanor was slightly better over the 3 nights, but she never smiled and never initiated a simple hello. If she had been more welcoming, we’d probably give 4 stars.

This is the BEST lodging anywhere near Hearst Castle. Hands down. The rooms and baths are modern, fully equipped, super clean and the rooms are BIG! The beds are super comfy. The location is so peaceful and reallly quiet. My room faced the creek and I loved sitting out on my patio listening to the birds and frogs. I will stay here again! For SURE!

I reactivated my trip advisor account to get on here and say thanks to Samantha for making us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and the bathtub hot. Downtown Cambria is only a short walk away. The best part was feeling welcomed and safe after a long journey.

"Creekside" is literal, there is a beautiful creek behind the motel. It was a great little place to spend the night. The room was clean and it was well kept. We were driving down the coast and stayed here on a Monday night. The bed was comfortable and the creek and woodsy area behind the motel was pretty cool. You could hear the frogs in the woods and it was amazing to listen to. Plenty of parking and easy access to the room. We had a great stay here. Will stay again when in the area.

The inn is clean, comfortable walking distance to downtown Cambria where the restaurants are. Staff were very very nice and accommodating. 10 minutes to Hearst Castle and 15 minutes to the elephant seals viewing area. Highly recommended. I would stay there again.

For what it is - a relatively simple motel - it was excellent. Nice location (the rooms with a balcony are worth the slightly higher rate). Very clean. The rooms were well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Easy to walk to coffee, dinner, etc. I would absolutely stay again.

Fantastic hotel with clean, spacious and lovely rooms. Super comfortable bed. Some of our party had a creek side room and we saw deer walking the creek which was worth the $10 extra. Short walk into beautiful town which has great restaurants and a lovely french cafe for breakfast. Samantha at front of house friendly and courteous. We loved Cambria and would have loved longer stay

Very comfortable room in a great location. Short walk to many restaurants. I wish we had more than one night to stay here in Cambria. My only complaints, and the reason for 4 instead of 5 is that the water pressure in the shower was really poor; and there was not enough coffee for the morning.
