Booked this hotel as it was close to the El Camino Hospital, for Wife's Surgery, and would be staying a total of Four (4) Nights. Checked in on a Monday Afternoon, and checked out on Friday Morning. Got up a 4:00 am on Tuesday Morning to go to Hospital for Surgery and found ”No” Hot Water, even after letting the Tub / Shower run for about 10 mins, water was not even Luke Warm, nothing we could do at that time of the Morning so Wife took cold shower. Got back to Hotel around 8:30 pm on Tuesday evening, and again tried to take shower, water was luke warm even after letting shower run for 15 mins. Advised Front Desk on Wednesday morning and requested another room, and they moved me to another room. Again arrived back to the room around 9:00 pm on Wednesday evening, and water in new room was cold as well .... Called Front Desk, they advised to let water run for a bit, after about 15 mins, the water did warm up, not ”Hot” but warm enough to take a shower. Experienced the same issues Thursday night and Friday morning. The decor and theme looked to be nice at one time, probably about 5 years ago but now items look old and worn, they need to update the furniture and inside of the rooms, the hallways and lobby look nice and a bit fresher, they do also have a continental breakfast that is decent, and the items are fresh so that was nice to be able to grab something on the run. The parking is under the hotel and there is only one entrance, which is on to Camden Ave which is extremely busy, so sometimes getting out is a bit of a challenge. Also be aware that due to the heavy traffic on Camden Ave, request a room on the back side, otherwise it is very loud with the traffic. There are a number of Fast Food places close by for a quick meal. i would have given a rating of a Three (3), but now days Hot Water is a requirement not a luxury so giving a Two (2) instead.
