Outdated room and bad paint work I could have done better with my eyes closed. 1 Plug socket in the entire room. No kettle no tea nothing in the rooms! . WiFi doesn’t work. Air con doesn’t work. Dead bugs in the light shades. I have to wear shoes just to walk on my own hotel room floor otherwise they turn black from dirt. The hotel is in the middle of no where with nothing to do. To get to anything decent it’s 50 min bus journey there with rude staff who aren’t helpful in the slightest when it comes to bus times etc. the food is DISGUSTING spent more money on McDonald’s up the road so we didn’t go hungry. Everything in the room is broken and needs replacing. I booked this hotel because the pictures looked great. I can confirm the pictures look nothing like this hotel!!! Please do not book and waste your money and time by coming here. It’s such a shame when you are excited for a holiday and come to some where as rubbish as this, especially after flying and travelling so far. I am contacting tui to try and get some sort of compensation. They shouldn’t even have this hotel on their website it’s that bad! No “infinity” pool no snack bar, definitely not two restaurants every thing on the page is a lie. So disappointing.

Fantastic hotel for the money. Rooms clean and beds very comfy. Very good range of food. Didn't have any issues finding sunbeds and a choice of pools. We found all the staff very pleasant and the Tui Rep Jules very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment is first class. The hotel is on a bus route offering access the many parts of the island

Construction work being done on the pool. Very busy hotel {and it shows it}. In a confined noisy place. Get Premium rooms so you can have a restful night and day. 25euros per day extra. Staff and food are excellent which make the hotel. You get what you pay for. Its one off the cheapest. Lot of English from the North.

Just come back from a week's holiday which turned out to be better than expected. Hotel: Decent all inclusive, drinks and food were very good always something to eat and drink. Rooms basic but decent and clean, balcony better than most very spacious. Pool great size and we made use of the Jacuzzis. You can upgrade to gold to use the adult only pool over the road but we didn't those who did enjoyed it. Location: 2 doors down local shop very handy. 5min up the road big supermarket sold everything you need. 10mins up the road mcdonalds. If you like a little walk down the road was the beach front great walk. Great selection of restaurants I.e. Chinese, Indian, sea food. Travelling about: 40mins from the airport, 20mins on the bus to town centre just over an hour to Las americas/Cristianos. The shops in the hotel sell day passes for 10 euro the bus are a great way to get around very easy and accessible definitely recommended to use. There is taxis about but you will pay for them. Overall the hotel is a great little find. Don't just read the negative reviews. It's a cracking little hotel with a lot to offer. Lots of regular holiday makers including ourselves we will be returning

Just returned from celebrating a 30th Birthday and a family of 9! We had an absolutely wonderful time. This was our second visit and took the other 7 people along for my birthday. We just love this hotel. So much to do, such friendly staff, the adults only area and solarium are lovely. Always cleaners on the go and the entertainment team are wonderful as well. Really getting people involved and mixing it up. Food was lovely every night and well presented. Great theme nights as well. We will return to the hotel in the future and will continue to recommend to everyone! Thank you Punta Del Rey for a wonderful birthday week!

Wouldn’t waist your money. Currently at this hotel. The main pool is closed with no notification of this before coming out. Told we can use the “infinity pool”. The glass to look out over the sea is filthy, the “bar” is a couple of cater to yourself taps, can’t get a sun bed. They advice all the “regulars” they will open the “infinity pool” at 8AM but if you’re new to the hotel it’s 9AM (unless you’re here every year a couple of times a year and a regular face you’re looked down upon and treated like you don’t matter). The rooms: freshly painted but with 2 sockets to use. So unless your bringing an extension you can’t have more than one think plugged in at a time. Got out of the shower walked to the bed and my feet were dirty. If you don’t like bugs you’re going to hate it here. We’ve had to remove 12 cockroaches in the 5 days we have been here. House keeping isn’t a regular thing here. Seen the maid 3 times and was told 3 time “today we clean your room” it’s not been done in 3 out of the 5 days we have been here. I’ve give up and gone to the shop next door and get cleaning products to do it myself. Staff: lovely, happy, bright and cheerful when you get here but don’t exactly your room to be ready. Once you’re in your room they no longer care. Raising any kind of issue is important as they take down to you and patronise you and gaslight you. My ex didn’t even make me feel this level of manipulation. The food: it’s cold all the time. Addressed Thai with the restaurant manager and was told “there’s a microwave heat it up”. The foods awful I’ve lived off crust and sandwich from the shop next door. I’m well traveled and not picky but this food isn’t to any kind of standard okay.

Got a good deal for Chris**as break and read reviews before booking. Nothing like 4 star in 2023, maybe in 1983. This group badly need to invest some serious time and money in upgrading all of the facilities to support the staff who are a credit to them. Far too much access for smokers including.. congregation at the reception outside doors. This results in all guests being subjected to fumes on access and permeation throughout the reception area. Food is OK as said, soft drinks are dreadful, wine literally on tap. The sun loungers are mobbed early doors. The lovely beach, less than 10 mins walk away (see pic) rent beds and parasols for 5 - 7e all day. Civilised, quiet sun bathing with the locals. Get an upgrade before you go or book direct, join their club and get a proper room. We complained and got a slightly better room, also with cockroaches. In summary, ideal for party animals and those who want unchecked alcohol consumption. Won't be going back.

Me and my partner visited this hotel for a week in November and wish we had stayed longer. All the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We met people who were on there multiple visits and I can see why. I am a support worker and will be bringing my supported lady here as she wants you to visit Spain. Food was delicious had no complaints. I would advise taking an extension lead as not many plugs. The soft drinks were not to my taste but there is a supermarket next door or just have a slushy every day as I did Don’t listen to bad reviews make your own mind up
