My wife, daughter and I, were visiting the central Cape Town area to see a production at the Homecoming Centre and were looking for somewhere nearby to stay for one night. The booking experience, through the guest house's own website, was simple. I received a very prompt response to my email querying what time check in was from (from 14h00 was the response). The guest house is situated in a very quiet cul de sac in the Three Anchor Bay area (between Greenpoint and Seapoint) of Cape Town. Parking is on street only, although we did not have a difficulty on finding a spot on arrival (mid-afternoon). Check in was quick and friendly. Our room were very clean and functional, with doors opening on to the communal garden and pool area. As this is a very densely populated part of Cape Town the guest house is surrounded by apartments and flats, some over-looking the garden, but this is no way detracted from our stay. At night it was very quiet. Breakfast is from 07h30 to 10h00, with personable table service. I thought the offering was excellent. Help yourself to tea and coffee. Fruit salad, eggs, bacon, tomato etc and a selection of cheeses served to the table. The husband and wife owners were present and took time to greet and converse with guests, which was appreciated. Friendly smooth check out. We also liked that it was only 3/4 of a kilometre from the seafront promenade, great for running and walking. We thought this was great value for money, with hands on friendly hosts.

I moved to Bayflowers from another guest house. The difference between the two was enormous. This is a wonderful guest house, situated on a quiet street within easy walking distance of lots of attractions. Next time I'm in Cape Town this is where I will stay. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed staying at this nice place. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the rooms were big and practical, the breakfast delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at BayFlowers. Naomie, relief mgr, was wonderful from check in to check out - streamlined process, tips re Cape Town and beyond were appreciated. Breakfast was a real treat each morning, the room delightful.

We, a family of four, stayed at the hotel for three nights. The hotel is very good located and the staff were very nice and friendly. We will absolutely recommend the hotel to our friends!

This is an absolute must. We ended our trip through South Africa there and enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere in a quiet environment. The clean rooms, the excellent breakfast and the very friendly staff deserve a big 10. Debbie is a super friendly hostess who ensure an unforgettable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bayflowers Guest House! Michael and Jeanne were superb hosts, provided us with tips for activities in Cape Town and accommodated us perfectly. Our room was very nice and clean, we had our own terrace with a lovely view of Signal Hill. The breakfast was amazing and offered everything you could ask for - from freshly baked bread, self-made yoghurt and fruit salad to an individually prepared warm breakfast. Our daughter is vegan and Jeanne and her team had no problem accommodating her diet. The location of the Guest House was also great, a safe and quiet neighbourhood, only a short walk away from the Sea Point Promenade and a quick drive to the V&A Waterfront. We would highly recommend staying at Bayflowers and will definitely come back if we're in Cape Town again! Thank you! - Susann, Jens & Lena

The substitution manager of the Bayflowers guest house was very mindful, helpful and very friendly. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also very tasty. The warming comforter was a highlight. We would definitely come here again.

This very nice maintained guesthouse, which looks and feels like a hotel, has an excellent service, great rooms (we had a private balcony), amazing breakfast. It is very convenient situated near Victoria & Albert Wharf and with a taxi you are in the center of town within 10 minutes (when there is no traffic jam). The owners were not there at the time we stayed there but mrs. Naomie did an excellent job in helping us out wherever she could. Being helpful and cooperative is in her genes. Bayflowers is the best, the staff made my sister’s birthday special. Naomi woke up early and baked a cake for her. From the checking in to the checking out she was hospitable and made us feel at home. The breakfast was scrumptious. Keep it up. Well Done!!

Jeanne was fabulous Always ready to help and had a lovely smile The staff are devoted and professional. They really look happy to work there The food was incredible, and Jeanne made us a lunch box for our excursions days. The guest house is located in a very quiet street and safe neighborhood that is within walking distance of the waterfront. We could not have picked a better place to stay! The host, Michael, welcomed us and provided super useful information for the 48 action-packed hours we spent in Cape Town. He gave us a map and tips to take full advantage of our short visit. The house is a pleasant walk away from the Green Point Lighthouse which is across the really good Butcher Shop & Grill (great for dinner!). The room was spacious for the three of us with all the relevant amenities. Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful, with fresh fruit, eggs any style, coffee and tea, freshly baked pastries, home-made yogurt, etc. We just loved everything about this place. We went in winter so could not enjoy the pool.

The hosts, a husband and wife team, are lovely and very hospitable. They are multilingual (fluent in German) and are both hands-on, providing the personal touch that makes one feel at home. I was most impressed by the breakfast particularly the homemade butter, yoghurt and bread which was often still warm as it was freshly baked. The location is ideal and the room was comfortable. I had a private patio with a view which I really enjoyed. Overall, I had a lovely stay and highly recommend Bayflowers Guest House.
