It was a nice stay. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The parking space was full but he helped us find a parking space. Would definitely stay with them again.

We stayed at the Hilton Cardiff for four days at the end of March 2023. We really enjoyed our stay! The people at reception made us feel very welcomed, and couldn’t have been nicer! ALL of the people who work here were extremely friendly and helpful. We wanted to give a special thank you to Mark, the night manager. He was always cheerful - at the beginning AND at the end of his shift in the morning, which is not easy! He even kindly got us a bucket of ice very early one morning when my wife hurt her knee as she was stepping out of bed and the bed rolled away from her. We spoke to Mark about the incident, and hopefully, by now, they have fixed the “rolling coasters with no brakes on the box springs” problem. Mark was so kind and concerned about her fall that he checked on her twice - right after the incident and even the next day, which was the last day of our stay. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety of hot and cold food offerings and was maintained to perfection by the attentive and efficient staff! The buffet was hosted by Bassam, who was very personable and interesting to talk with. The executive lounge was lovely, with beverages and a few snacks available throughout the day. There is an evening manager’s reception and some savory finger foods were offered each night. Our room had a stunning view of Cardiff Castle and the castle grounds! We would happily return to Hilton Cardiff, and we thank them for making our stay really memorable and pleasant. As a side note, we took the Cardiff Castle Ghost Tour and highly recommend it! It’s great to be able to tour the castle at night, and the two hosts were full of fun facts and historical information about the beautiful and “over the top” decor of the castle!

Really love this hotel and the location right in the centre! I always choose to stay here. Staff are super friendly and rooms are nice and clean. Car park under the hotel (at an extra cost of £18pn) The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel by car, as it sends you down a bus/taxi lane which can be confusing.

Hairdryer is provided in the shared shower room, and with curtain next to each bed which provides greater conveniency and privacy. While free tea and coffee are provided next to the reception 24/7. However, the lock here is password lock, and the staff would change the password frequently for preventing homeless people, this can be good or not, one hand is providing greater safety, yet, it can also make you being lock outside the hostel (that's what I experienced). And one more thing is that I found bloodstain on the bed sheet. Overall, I would say it's a cost-effective choice

Had a fantastic visit here, Amanda at reception was excellent, welcoming and friendly! the room was very clean and looked freshly decorated, plugs at bedside which was great! It was noisy but we expected this, as the location was perfect for a weekend drinking! I didn't bring car so unsure around parking, but took me a few mins to walk from train station! Very Happy

Just returned from a 3 night stay, was in Cardiff for a family wedding. Have to say the staff were friendly, informative and very accommodating. Wedding was on Friday and the maltsters arms very kindly allowed us to have dinner with them on Saturday night, there was 18 of us!!! Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff for the most amazing food, from starters to desserts and delicious drinks and cocktails 5 stars. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. The manager sorry can’t remember your name, was friendly and helpful. Lastly to Ben for his hospitality and professionalism in helping to book us all in on Saturday night, it was a wonderful ending to all of our trip to beautiful Cardiff. Disastrous first booking with trip.com! Travelled with my Daughter and her friend, arrived only to be told there was only a king size bed, room too small for the 3 of us. On booking, the search engine was defaulted to 2 adults, so this was amended accordingly. Thankfully there was a spare room.to accommodate at an additional cost of £30, oh and parking was £10! Not the budget stay I originally thought it to be. Please be careful. Accommodation top class, clean, fresh, beautiful with attention to detail.

Excellent location. Spotlessly clean rooms. Certainly a room with a view from floor 14. Fast elevators. All areas clean and tidy. Bed comfortable and big. Staff professional and friendly. Super large TV, plenty of sockets including USB ports. Fab shower/bathroom.
