Ulasan Carnoustie Golf Hotel 'a Bespoke Hotel’

Having visited this hotel many times over the years, we were looking forward to return. We opted to pay for the upgrade to our room to a suite. The furnishings are tired, the dressing table worn and the curtains do not actually shut out all the light as they do not go far enough along beside the wardrobe. The food was average, service was slow and mistakes were made to the point our desserts were given for free on our last evening. When checking out I also feel we were carefully asked if everything was ok upstairs meaning our room - not asked about our stay etc. It's really disappointing as it has been a favourite place for our family to visit but I doubt we would return. The brie starter said it had oatmeal coating - it was not oatmeal. The venison was overcooked and very sweet. The chicken caesar salad i couldn't eat the meat - it was so peppery and spiced with cajun - not described on the menu.

Lovely hotel in great location . Great facilities . Staff friendly and efficient.

The staff were all excellent however the hotel itself is badly in need of an upgrade. The furniture in the bedrooms is old and dated as are the carpets in the guest hallways and bedrooms. The was no fridge in the bedroom either.

Recent golfing trip to Carnoustie and stayed at Carnoustie Golf Hotel. Great stay and can see some refurbishments throughout the hotel since last visited. Great stay - Faultless

Excellent hotel with a wonderful view of a golf course and a beach, well connected by road and local buses into other nearby towns and Dundee. Excellent breakfast with good dinner available at the restaurant - good ambience. Spacious rooms with lovely coffee machine. Very courteous and cordial staff. Overall a great experience with a swimming pool and leisure club included within the package. Will highly recommend.

It was a nice place with lots of space, had lots of amenities and was a very comfy place to relax in too with a golf course, pool, jacuzzi and steam room with a sauna.

We weren’t made aware that the hotels leisure facilities weren’t available during our stay due to refurbishment but aside from that a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting.

We started the trip in the bar with quick orders of drinks but found it quite strange that there wasn’t a drinks menu but other than that we sat in a comfy lounge area and then checked in quickly our room was really spacious for the price then we went down to enjoy the pool amenities which with a heated pool quite large and a steam room with eucalyptus oil we assume by the end of our night were so relaxed which was our entire expectation for the trip and the hotel exceeded it

We were a couple going golfing and booked a four-night stay at the Carnoustie course. The balcony in our room faced the 1st tee and the 18th green. It was amazing!!! We sat on the balcony after each round and watched others play! 😄 The outdoor area of ​​the hotel restaurant also faced the green. Highly recommended!!!

Very comfortable hotel, with a golf course behind it and the beach next to it. It is convenient to walk to the train station and the town. There is also a children's playground by the sea.

Worth a try. The beach is beautiful.
