Hotel berhampiran Ultra Ozono, Cartagena

The hotel located next to the beach that is great location. The rooms are small but nice, unfortunately The rooms aren’t maintained well. The floor was broken and the shower faucet wasn’t broken. Not per ibis standards. The stuff is friendly. Keep in mind that there is a lot of traffic noise all times of the day and night. Request higher floor if you stay with the view to the ocean. Check your room upfront as if you want to replace the room they do it only after 3pm.

excelente servicio. el personal que allí labora es muy amable y servicial. la alimentación es muy buena, el menú es variado y saludable. el hotel está muy bien ubicado, lo cual permite poder visitar y conocer diferentes sitios ahí cerca, incluyendo la playa.

La atención del jefe de cocina fue excelente, lo mismo la atención de todos los empleados de este hotel, magnífico todo, hotel 10/10 sin duda volveria muchas veces más. La limpieza sin duda es lo que hace único, La playa queda al frente y su vista es genial.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Cartagena with a courtyard inside that looks like a botanical garden. When I booked the hotel, I was a little worried after reading some not entirely positive reviews, but I do not regret staying here for three nights, especially since other hotels have more negative reviews. And  here is my conclusion. Great hotel with air conditioner in the room, swimming pool and rooftop which i really like. The staff is very friendly, some of them speak english, especially Juan David. This young guy speaks good english, he is very helpful and erudite. The other guys also left good impressions: Antony, Gustavo, Nilsa, Oscar The breakfast here is great, you feel like you are in a cafe, they will prepare food for you to order. The dining room is located on the fifth floor with a view of the city.  I read that some guests had complaints about the noise from the street. Guys, if you want to live in a quiet place, then you need to book a hotel on the outskirts of the city, but here in the very center and on the busiest street, do not expect that there will be silence. My room was inside  with a window to the courtyard, and there was no noise from the street. I give them five stars, and I really hope that the management will encourage their employees who try their best. This is, hands down, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is beautiful. The location is perfect as there are several excellent restaurants less than a 5 minute walk away. The pool area is serene and the hotel’s restaurant has delicious food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The spa is incredible, and the room’s A/C is powerful, keeping us nice and cool on the most humid of days here. Despite all of these features, what stands out the most is the staff. They are super attentive, always going out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Everyone introduces themselves with a smile and are all willing to help you with anything you need. Any requests you make to the front desk are handled very quickly, far exceeding our expectations. I also highly suggest booking a room that comes with the butler service, and would like to give Diego a special thank you. He set up an unbelievable boat trip to one of the nearby islands for my wife and I, making sure we had a bilingual guide (Manuel, also an awesome dude) who made sure we were taken care of the entire day, never had a translation issue, and saw some beautiful places. Diego also ensured we had a personal driver to get us to and from the dock without any hassle. If you are looking to be treated like royalty in paradise, then this is absolutely the place to stay. I cannot recommend it highly enough. 10/10 will definitely be back here again.

Family trip to Cartegena with our 2 early 20's daughters. Fantastic location and quality. Beds super comfortable and rooms were spacious. After touring city we spent afternoons on roof top pool/bar. Hotel arranged a day trip to a sister hotel on Isla Tierra Bomba. Great facility. Entire staff was extremely helpful and service oriented.

I was upgraded to this property from the OZ luxury hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by this action and enjoyed the larger room. I’m not sure what there is to complain about for this hotel. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The check-in process was easy and when we asked for recommendations for restaurants they were happy to help. Breakfast each morning was different Columbian cuisine which I enjoy when traveling. It was fresh with a good variety of choices. If the local cuisine is not your liking they make eggs to order which is a nice added touch. I loved being in the Bocagrande area it isn’t as busy as the walled city it is more of a beach town vibe. Uber to the other attractions ranged from $3-6. I can say I fell in love with this property and Cartagena and look forward to coming back soon.

We had a great time at Hotel Caribe, lovely main pool, and had a selection of smaller dipping pools and tubs to choose from. The parrots, sloths and birds live happily around the ground and it’s so lovely. Everyone that works here is so sweet and warm. We had a lovely chat to Antonio who hands over the towels by the pool, Marianny, the hostess is also very lovely and always checks you are having a nice time. Breakfast is great tho I think those with dietary restrictions may struggle as sometimes the signage isn’t too great. We didn’t have that problem so it didn’t bother us but maybe one to consider for other guests. Pizzas are great, but as others have commented, other lunch/dinner options aren’t great and quite pricey for what they are. Until this is sorted I recommend other travellers to eat breakfast at the hotel but other meals in Cartagena town as there’s lots of amazing options there! Our room was gorgeous and the bed so comfy!! Loved it, would come back again.
