Hotel Castle dengan Sarapan

I arrived early and they allowed me to check-in my room 2 hours earlier. It's a kind gesture that helped me a lot. It's located 5 minutes walk away from the city center where the banks and big shops are located.

Having paid £109 for the room and an additional £5 for parking I was expecting something a bit better than what we got. The staff on reception were lovely and very friendly, but the room was a bit tired and cold. We stayed in room 401, which was an end room on the 4th floor, which on first inspection seemed very nice. However, it soon became apparent that the air conditioning unit didn’t work, the windows were both broken so they couldn’t be opened and were leaking, the one radiator in the room was rusty and ineffective and there was signs of damp on the ceiling. I think for the price of the room these issues should have been fixed before we arrived. Had the price been lower I wouldn’t have minded but if you’re charging more than other places I think the standard should be higher.

My elderly Father is originally from South Wales and has lived in the Midlands for over 60 years so decided to take him back to his homeland using various Premier Inns as stop overs. Our 2nd stop was at the Premier Inn, Waterfront, Swansea. Our waiter Andrew at the Beefeater was absolutely brilliant, even though he was working flat out, he was brilliant with my Dad, having the South Wales banter, my elderly Dad loved it, the service was brilliant, the staff work so hard. 11 out of 10 for Andrew, this bloke deserves a pay rise, he is a credit to your company.

Great location for us visiting the Swansea arena . Great to have free parking as we didn’t need to use our car on our two night stay . Beautiful looking hotel inside and out . We stayed in the townhouse to the side of the hotel in a room called Harvre ( my maiden name is Harvey 😉 not that the hotel knew) Reece , who was exceptionally friendly and helpful during our stay , explained that the rooms were all named after ships associated with Swansea .. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the pillows and duvet were great . I do agree that the lighting in the room was overly brilliant , especially when you wanted to change as you had to close the curtains due to being opposite ( in our too) another hotel room opposite , but they did have plenty of lamps and it was too much of a problem . The bathroom was enormous and the shower was great . I was tempted to have a bath but didn’t get round to it . Three different sizes of towels each supplied along with bathrobes and enough shampoo etc if you didn’t have your own. The view wasn’t brilliant but really appreciated that even though we were a stones throw away from the extremely busy main road , we couldn’t hear the traffic at all. Great selection and choices of continental and cooked breakfast .

The only 2 lifts were not in service at the same time. Luckily the staffs there were pretty helpful. However, they accidentally charged me an extra cost though the amount of money was returned eventually but I hope that similar things won’t happen to other customers in the future Rooms were spacious!👍🏻

Debbie and Lucinda were both incredibly helpful and lovely people. They went above and beyond to be helpful and made the stay awesome. One minor issue people need to be aware of; at swansea central there is a death trap door outside. It is at the top of the ramp; coming into the hotel is fine. Leaving on the other hand, the door WILL smack you in the face. So be careful of that if you are a wheelchair user.
