Turiddu B&B

I booked this B&B without realizing the check-in time is as early as 8:30pm. By around 8:30pm that evening, we were still on the road so we called the owner, and said we would be there half an hour later. The owner resolutely refused any check-in after 8:30pm and charged us the full price regardless. I have never ever come across any B&B owner so unaccommodating as this one, so aware!👎🏻👎🏻

We booked this B&B because of the Etna view (that it was promoted). Unfortunately, our room did not have the view on Etna. So, if it is very important as for us, make sure to ask whether your room has Etna view. The host were great, helpful and friendly!!!! Communication was great! It was a bit complicated to sleep, I heard some noise during the night, most likely it was either elevator or some other noise in the building (not in B&B). There are plenty of parking area, which is great advantage. Breakfast was ok, however, we missed some ham/ cheese/ eggs/or omelette. There were some fruits and sweet things mostly. The place is 7 min walking from the city center, which is super convenient and big advantage as well. The beds were comfortable and the rooms was very clean; WIFI worked great! Overall, it is great value for money!

Pleasant stay! I arrived early at the airport and the B&B let me check in right away (at 11 in the morning) - so kind! The only negative comment I have is the use of strongly scented cleaning products - I guess that’s not for everyone and left me with a headache.

Our stay was excellent. The hosts are wonderful and the location is very close to the station. The area just outside the station can seem a little intimidating, especially at night, but we did feel safe at all times, and there are also supermarkets nearby. The view was also amazing! We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend.

I loved this accomodation, The location was perfect, close to the bus station (from where we went to visit Taormina and Syracusa), city centre, Lidl, all that is needed was accessible. Clean, modern, friendly owners. I will recommend for sure this b&b.

Firstly, Vicenzo is such a warm and welcoming host, great communication throughout my stay and the run up to arriving. The room was huge, stunning view of etna from room and the breakfast every morning was a perfect mix to start the day right. I read a few previous comments about the area, but as a woman travelling alone I always felt safe. Yes there’s alot of rubbish around but hey - it’s everywhere in Sicily! I found it really handy being so near the bus and train station which are only a quick walk and I used alot for day trips to other towns (Noto and Taormina). This was a great base for exploring further out of Catania, I enjoyed my stay so much and can’t wait to return to see more of Sicily. I will be booking here again for sure. Grazie Mille Vicenzo

The rooms are good. The service is good. The bed is comfortable and hot water is good. It was cold during our visit and the heat is inadequate, but the owner brought some space heaters. The building is not a normal BB type arrangement. It’s like a space in an office building converted. At night there is no attendance. Common area very cold and I’m not sure about adequate fire escape?!?

It was just for one night but was very comfortable. Very clean. The shower was amazing. Breakfast the next morning was very adequate. Liked it very much.

We enjoyed the apartment. Was clean and confortable.
