We arrived at midnight in the rain. Taxi dropped us off at the back alley which was a bit shock to us.
However the interior of the room is nice.
But the shower door doesn’t close properly.
The B&B is located on the 2nd floor. No lift. Just be aware if you have a big luggage.

A beautifully simply appointed boutique guesthouse on the corner of Piazza Stesicoro and Via Etnea. Entry is up the staircase off the entry door on Via Neve - despite initial impressions (Via Neve is a bit of an alley way) and the the stairs to the second floor (I believe a lift is planned later this year) it was a delightful stay. Fabio and Daniel couldn't have more accommodating (Fabio even assisted me in sourcing good Sicilian wine!). Room was spacious and modern and housekeeping was excellent. A simple breakfast is taken at one of the cafes on Via Etnea - more than adequate＞ Location is great with Metro nearby and main train station accessible by Metro or a 10-15 minute walk. Duomo area 600m. Lots of eateries - recommend seafood in one of the numerous restaurants surrounding the famous Pescheria. Lots to see and do - recommend a trip to Taormina (train €12 return). Stayed here for the second time and was excellent yet again. The room was clean and modern and the facilities were excellent. We had a balcony overlooking Via Etna so we could watch the goings on on the street below. The staff are friendly and helpful. Fabio speaks good English and was pleased to see us again after 7 years and made us feel most welcome, thank you. A fridge is provided in the room to keep your drinks cool. The bed was comfy and the bathroom is spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is served in one of the two cafés below, great coffee and Sicilian pastries. The B&B is situated in the middle of Catania within walking distance of all the sights, restaurants and cafés. Highly recommended place to stay and we would definitely go back.

Excellent boutique guesthouse . Clean and modern room with good bed. The location was perfect, It is in a quiet and pleasant safe area. We had breakfast at the cafe and it was delicious with a varied menu and served quickly by friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse at any occasion if you’re in Catania.

Excellent location on Via Etna facing Stesicora square. The entrance is in via Neve a narrow side road off via Etna ( it is not an alley way ) . Metro 200metres up the road . Tourist buses operate right outside. Fabio arranged airport pickup for us . We were met at airport and when we arrived in Stesicora square someone was waiting for us . They took our case and directed us to the property. Yes there are a lot of stairs up to the hotel but it’s a very old building. We’re in our 60s and managed the stairs several times a day . Believe me once you enter you’ll be more than happy to climb them every day . The hotel has been tastefully decorated to a high standard.Large room with all amenities. Fabio is an excellent host . He speaks faultless English. And he goes over and beyond to make your stay the most pleasurable it can be . He is very experienced in hospitality. And it shows . He is very proud of the hotel and so he should be . For breakfast you receive a voucher daily to use in cafe Scardaci opposite the hotel .This works really well . There’s a great choice of sweet and savouries . And of course excellent coffee . We’d highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Catania. And would definitely stay again if we return to Sicily .

We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful stay, the bed was so comfortable,soft luxurious linen. The room was clean and had everything you needed, loved the design and the balcony . The staff couldn’t do enough for you, very attentive and professional. Also, Daniel helped me with my luggage to be brought upstairs. I would definitely return and recommend the hotel.

Spacious and clean room in a great location. Fantastic view of the city. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good local breakfast. There is not elevator, you will need to take stairs (no more than 1/2 flights).

Watch out for this nightmare! The SCARY back entrance has NO SIGNS. No short-term parking is possible to unload luggage. The ELEVATOR to the 4th floor where the rooms are located WAS NOT WORKING. The ENTRANCE STINKS like hell! We insisted someone would come down to help us. The guy told us the elevator is not working, the place is being remodeled and we better look for another Hotel. We were told Stesicoro would not charge us on our credit card, I asked twice. THAT WAS NOT TRUE, STESICORO charged us for the full 2 days. No one from STESICORO would answer the phone, WhatsApp, or emails.
