Good centrally located rooms and the airport bus stops right across the road. All of Catania's attractions are within walking distance. The room (a triple) was spacious, clean and well-decorated. Breakfast was more than adequate with a selection of savoury and sweet options. Fresh coffee is made to order. Do not let the external entrance put you off -:once inside it is a modern and comfortable place to stay.

Se facciamo questa recensione è solo per un motivo: ROBERTA! L'hotel è centrale, pulito, curato e perfetto per chi vuole girare a piedi e usare poco l'auto. Quel che fa la differenza però è Roberta, sempre sorridente, gentile, professionale e di quella simpatia tutta siciliana che la rendeva ancora più bella. L'essere ”accoglienti” è un dono che hai dentro e che non acquisirai, neanche con l'esperienza, lei ha quel dono genuino che rende questo hotel assolutamente PERFETTO! Grazie di tutto da me e Giancarlo! A presto!

Clean and safe hotel, spacious room with good spread of breakfast. Walking distance to Etnea (shopping belt), with several restaurants in vicinity. Enjoyed our stay there. Appreciate the staff for helping to arrange a room for us where we do not have to change room as we join our tour group that started with a night stay at this hotel.

Très bon accueil, nous sommes arrivés bien avant l'heure du check-in mais nous avons pu laisser nos bagages qui ont été montés ensuite dans notre chambre. Le réceptionniste, très gentil et aimable, nous a donné un plan de Catane et nous a donné de bons conseils pour nous promener et pour les restaurants. Nous sommes allés déjeuner et nous sommes revenus ensuite. La chambre était très grande et très bien aménagée, la literie excellente et la salle de bain très belle et agréable. L'hôtel a une décoration design tout en gardant la majesté de l'ancien palais. Nous avons très bien dormi car la rue est relativement calme et il y a un très bon double vitrage. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, servi sous forme de buffet dans une salle agréable. Nous avons apprécié d'avoir, entre autres, des fruits frais. A notre départ, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages à l'hôtel pour nous promener tranquillement dans Catane, notre avion étant en soirée. Le réceptionniste nous a appelé un taxi pour l'aéroport. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans l'hôtel Romano House et nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel qui est d'un excellent rapport qualité/ prix.

Appena dietro Via Etnea (il cuore pulsante di Catania), facilmente raggiungibile con la Metro cittadina (fermata Stesicoro), offre in primo luogo la cortesia e la disponibilità del proprietario Alessandro, persona a modo e sempre prodigo di consigli per far vivere al meglio l'esperienza del soggiorno nella bellissima città. All'interno della stanza sempre tenuta in ordine dal suo staff, abbiamo avuto a disposizione tutto quello che occorreva (lenzuola e accessori da bagno di buona qualità) per rendere confortevole la vacanza. Nelle giornate feriali uscendo dal portone della struttura, ci si può sbizzarrire girovagando per il grandissimo mercato all'aperto. La colazione viene servita nel vicinissimo e organizzatissimo caffè Bellini, (ottimi prodotti e grande gentilezza). Auguriamo ad Alessandro tutti i successi che spera e merita e di continuare ad arricchire di ulteriori comfort la propria struttura. Grazie di tutto.

First of of all I want to thank Vincenzo and Claudia C at the reception. They are a very good asset for the hotel, always very prompt to help with excellent service always with a smile. Our room was very clean, I thank Giusi, at the first floor of the hotel ,she really does her job very well with attention to detail, most of the times you rarely find even in 5 star hotels,she is an other asset. The hotel is very comfortable, good position, very clean and has great safe private and secure parking. Definitely will revisit when in Sicily.

Great location, clean, comfortable and spacious room. The hotel is just steps away from the Duomo, where there are many nice places to eat, have wine or delicious canoli. The pretty lady at reception (I forgot to get her name) gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and local shopping. We enjoyed our time there very much.

Business style hotel in a nice location on a side street away from the main shopping street but within around 10mins easy walking distance. Coop supermarket within 5mins walk. Comfortable bedrooms, although not the largest in size. Some rooms have balconies. My room had a bathtub with a shower over, plus bidet. Bedroom windows have electric blinds but they are quite noisy so can sometimes hear when next door rooms are moving theirs. Vivid blue and yellow colour scheme in the bathroom can be a bit harsh when you're still waking up. Reasonable choice of food at breakfast- breads, pastries, cakes, yogurts, lots of fresh juices, some fresh and tinned fruit etc. Not many hot options but that's expected for Italy. Not many tables in the area where the food & drink are set for breakfast although there are other tables available in a second area beyond. Snacks are available during the day from just behind reception should you want them. Two lifts but both small. One was being worked on as our group were trying to get their luggage down to check out and other guests still going to/from breakfast, which meant a bit of a wait for that single active lift. Overall, despite a few ******* I had a great stay & would go back if I return to Catania.

This hotel made our holiday. Granted it’s not in the best area but we absolutely loved it. The room was huge, spotless, modern and has everything you need. We were road facing so the road noise was there but it didn’t bother us as up with a 9 year old at 7am! The beds were very comfy and for Italy in our experience this is rare. The pool area was lovely, the pool wasn’t big but big enough for the amount of guests. The reception staff were all welcoming and helpful, the staff working on the bar and at breakfast were all fab and spoke good English. The breakfast was very fresh with plenty of continental choice. We also had a light lunch on a couple of occasions which was lovely. We hired a car which you definitely need as nothing in walking distance apart from a little bar/coffee place across the road. The car hire at the hotel was €100 per day but we found a local company before we flew out for £400 for the week so it’s better to look around. We managed to park at the hotel no problem. €40 in taxi from airport to hotel. Going into the city and driving was something else. Parking is hard work but overall we loved it. We have been all over Italy for the last 12 years and I must say the food we had in Sicily was truly the best. We ate a lot of fresh fish. Places to visit Mt Etna - €90 in cable car but worth it Etnaland water park €80 for 3 people but it’s amazing for families and would highly recommend Taomina - the beach was stoney but a beautiful place. Absolutely full of tourists though. Overall our second visit to Sicily did not disappoint, my family had the most amazing time. It’s not your typical ‘family’ holiday but that is why we liked it so much. We would stop at this hotel again and again and would highly recommend
