We stayed here for a couple of weeks and very much enjoyed our stay, would we holiday in Mlini itself again, probably not, it was a little too quiet for us, but the hotel was excellent! The room was spacious, modern, and immaculate, it also had a large balcony from which we could enjoy a view of the coastline from a (very) elevated hillside position. A full-height frosted glass partition allowed for privacy when using the balcony. The bed and pillow were also excellent, very comfortable indeed, again important when you're trying to relax on holiday. On the sunny roof terrace, there’s a gym, sauna and jacuzzi, again, all immaculate, it’s a very nice place to relax after a tiring day exploring, before heading out again in the evening! Any night traffic noise was easily handled by closing the shutter and double-glazed door. The breakfast offer had everything you needed, cereals, hot food (a selection of choices provided on a small menu), fruit, yoghurts, juices, etc. Despite being too quiet for us as a holiday "resort", the location worked quite well on balance, between Cavtat and Dubrovnik with frequent buses (around €6 for two, one way). You could also walk down the 250+ stairs to the Mlini promenade or along the main road to Kupari which has a shopping mall and more bars, cafes and restaurants. The restaurant beneath the hotel serves nice food, but if you want an alternative, look into the Konoba Forno just down the road, it served the best steak I’ve ever eaten and has stunning views.
