A clean hotel! Perfect location for my dental visit! Clean and friendly service

Checked-in here for 2nights last April 22-24,2022 and booked a room w/ 1 double bed i think its king bed and they place me at the 8th floor or 7th floor which is nice i have the city view the in room wifi is not working so i had to use my data the wifi is only working around the lobby area. The Staff are friendly even the housekeeping they greeted you whenever they will see you in the Corregidor. So far very convenient bec. it is walking distance to robinsons and the famous pungko2 in osmena.

PROS: 1. Brand new budget hotel 2. Prime location near city center, few blocks to hospitals, malls, restaurants 3. Amenities at par with 3 star hotels: duvet beddings, marbled flooring bathroom 4. Excellent customer service CONS: 1. no inhouse restaurant although there are many restaurants walking distance nearby to choose from 2. No refrigerator 3. Limited parking space: 5 indoors, approx 6 streetside

I must start with the most incredible aspect of our experience, which far exceeded expectations. We accidentally left over $1,000 USD in our hotel room safe when we checked out. We didn’t realize this until after we had arrived on Boracay. I didn’t expect to ever see that money again. Certainly, in the US, there’s no chance in hell I’m ever getting that money back. Nevertheless, when I called the Holiday Inn Cebu City, the staff seemed genuinely committed to finding the money and somehow getting it back to me. Once they found it, they called me back immediately and confirmed the amount in the safe. Then, for the better part of two days, the staff visited various Western Union offices in Cebu City to find someone that would exchange the notes into pesos, which they could then send to me via Western Union in the US. They finally found someone who could send all but $300 because those were the older $100 bills that most foreign money changers won’t touch. Oh well, I was more than excited to get most of my money back. I was quite happy to leave the remaining $300 as a tip for their super service. Then, after a couple more weeks, they contacted me and let me know they were able to convert the remaining $300 to pesos. Keep in mind that this is a country where the wage rate is significantly lower than the US and this was a material amount of money. The staff at the Holiday Inn Cebu City was so honest and so committed to excellent customer service that they went out of their way to get the rest of the money to me. This in itself made me a life time, loyal customer of this hotel. Now, beyond this particular amazing experience, the hotel is the perfect spot for tourists. The rooms are impeccably clean and modern, the breakfast buffet was the best we had in Asia, and the swimming pool had a great view and was well appointed. The location is perfect for tourists because lots of places are walking distance, like the Ayala Center. Hands down a memorable stay for a world traveler who’s been to every continent. I highly recommend this property!!

Wonderful hotel about 5-6 minutes walk to Ayala Center. The room quality, and guest services are excellent. Everything works! Super comfortable bed, good size room and bathroom, modern, great air-cond. and a wide range of cable TV channels. Extremely well managed hotel and great value at less than 2,500 pesos per night. The breakfast is suited to Filipino's, so I only tried the restaurant once. One suggestion is to add the Australia channel to the list of cable TV options.

We recently stayed in Golden Peak Hotel and we were quite pleased with our experience. The location was convenient, making it easy to access the city's attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was clean and comfortable with complete toiletries and strong free room wifi. Overall, it was a great choice for our city visit, and we would recommend it to others.

If you’re looking for a 4 star establishment, this place is not for you. But if you want no frills, best location, charm and the famous Filipino hospitality then this is perfect. It’s an older small hotel but they keep it clean and free of odor. Located in the heart of the Fuente area in which you can get your necessities within walking distance. The mall is just across the street, 2 drugstores and food are literally steps away. I got to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and the display of Christmas Lights in the rotunda from my room. Free breakfast is served at the Mecios restaurant by the lobby. Food is served all day and live music and dancing at night. I stayed here twice during my recent visit in Cebu and definitely will be back.

I love the water dispenser idea to reduce plastic use. Can take hot, normal and cold water from the machine near my room 605. I felt so familiar when I decided to book a night here. When I went into the room I opened my email to see that I stayed once on 21 March 2019. Room is very large and comfortable although not new. The charming of the hotel and staff are still the same. Breakfast is set and simple. Restaurant is closed at 21:30pm so we had to walk outside to have dinner. Easy to find places to eat around the hotel. Near 2 Robinson malls at the roundabout and near a convenience store. Deposit 1,000 Peso. 7th floor has very high walls around so views are blocked. If they renovate, hope that they would make glass fences instead.
