El habitación es cómoda. La cama y la almohada también. Sólo íbamos a estar unas horas y pudimos descansar bien Habíamos reservado por Booking y al llegar vimos que la habitación sólo tenía una cama y éramos 3. La reserva era sin cancelación, agradecemos al dueño por su buena disponibilidad de cambio y solución a esa dificultad Habíamos reservado un taxi en la administración para la hora que teníamos que ir de noche al aeropuerto y cuando bajamos el taxi no venia, parece que lo había cancelado. Otras personas del staff salieron a buscar otro y solucionaron él problema 🙏

We had the pleasure to eat at Belmont Cafe. It was an exceptional experience and the service was second to none. From the greeting upon entry to the quality of food and the attentiveness we received, the entire time was incredible. We had the four cheese pizza, fresh lumpia, Laing and other items. The food was beyond delicious and can’t wait to taste more dishes in the future. We want to give special recognition for Chef Ri, she checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food, a rare thing and much appreciated. Special recognition as well to our server Michael, he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and was one of the most attentive I have seen, he provided the highest quality of service and others in the future will have a hard time matching his skills. Thank you for all you did to make our dinner one we will not forget.

First off, I’ll start by saying rather pay a little extra and stay at the Belmont Hotel next door, which I’ll explain below. I stayed at the Belmont Hotel for 2 nights and 5 nights at Savoy Hotel. Had I had the choice of being able to refund at the Savoy, I would have done so. Let me start with the positives. The cleaning staff and staff alike at Savoy are absolutely fantastic - so kind, so respectful and friendly. The attitude of the staff should be commended! The service of the room was good. The front desk staff, some of them, may just let you stand and wait aimlessly. I initially booked the Superior Deluxe Room. I arrived at 12pm and check-in was at 3pm. I eventually got to my room and it was tiny. Plus there’s an adjoining door to the room next door where you can hear everything. I then noticed several dead cockroaches in the bathroom. I then went downstairs and changed rooms and paid for an upgrade for the Deluxe Premier Room which was bigger and no adjoining room. Note that at the Belmont the room was not an adjoining room and had good sound insulation. Upon entry to my now upgraded room, there were several live cockroaches in the bathroom and then some baby ones on the wall behind the sofa and on the bed! I immediately changed rooms again! This time the second room was better. It was a corner room with a view of the ocean at one side and the swimming pool at the other. Every day, the staff serviced the rooms really well, I must commend Savoy for this. However, Savoy really needs to purchase new bathroom towels which are yellowed, broken and tattered. The room is good at blocking out noise from outside, and the bed was relatively comfortable. You can’t, however, order breakfast from the restaurant unless you purchase the buffet. Makes no sense as you should give your guests a choice if they want the buffet or order breakfast from the hotels breakfast menu. Overall, the highlight of my stay was the incredible and friendly staff (servicing staff and security) who always, numerous times a day, greeted us warmly with a big smile. I'm a bit disappointed. I've emailed them about the arrangement regarding the bed since this is supposed to be our anniversary celebration and they replied back acknowledging my email and they said that they have the service. But on our check-in, they said that they haven't prepared the room (this is already past 3pm) and that they will just send a cake but no cake was sent to our room. The room smells moldy and the flush in the toilet is not strong enough to flush everything away and takes a long time to have a 2nd flush (I have to take a bath first before doing the 2nd flush). The swimming pool was nice but it would be better if the water is heated since it is very cold up in the 22nd floor. The breakfast buffet is good and they have a variety of cuisines and they keep on refilling them.

The property itself if quite nice with spacious rooms, a refrigerator, electric kettle and microwave and a smallish but working TV. Outside, there's a common lounging area with nice sofas and you get free parking. The corridors are spacious and the decor is tasteful. There's no elevator, though, and the 3rd floor is actually four flights up. Unfortunately, I asked for a room clean on the 3rd day of my stay but it didn't happen. The worst really had to do with their online booking and payment system. I charged my room to my BPI account, which was deducted from my bank account but the transaction wasn't acknowledged by Copenhagen Residences. They said that I had to deal with their online payment gateway - Asiapay. I asked for the phone or email but the person from Copenhagen didn't have it. Like, wow. My hard earned money down the drain. I tried looking for Asiapay's contact details but the website only had the HK email address. I tried calling the number but didn't get an answer. What a way to ruin what would have been an otherwise pleasant experience.

Had a good time there, good service and lovely pool. We had perfect aroma oil and stone massage. Staffs were welcoming. Food was good too. Easy access with walking distance to both domestic and international airport. Overall stay was great

One of the best resort I stayed in Mactan. Their service are excellent and they have many pools that you can swim. The room is clean & complete and the best part is that they have balcony. The buffet is okay and I just hope that they can add more. Nonetheless, I will definitely come back again.

It was my Cebu stop over as my next flight was early morning. The place is clean. Hot and cold shower was working. There is a service van to the airport for free. Very much recommended!

I stayed here twice in April & May 2023 and was consistently impressed with the staff & the property. The staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and very courteous. The deluxe room had a great view, was large, clean, modern and very comfortable all around. The buffet breakfast was excellent with good selection of Western and Pilipino dishes. And the table service was excellent—shout out to Ariel and staff for a very attentive service! I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality & selection of drink’s & pastries at the Cafe also punctuated by excellent service. The property has 3 great pools, a small private beach , picnic area & fitness center. For me the only service missing is the food room service but it’s a minor item for what I needed. The location is an about 30 min from Mactan airport in a secluded gated area. Getting here was through local neighborhood and inconvenient from other restaurants & services so you’re pretty much will be staying on the property unless you want to go out for a long drive. I paid 650 pesos for a Grab ride around noon time from IT park to Reef. I have been to many 5 star Western style resort hotels in US, Europe & Asia and Reef compares well especially if you can book a discounted room for less than $150 USD. Overall, I highly recommend the Reef Island Resort hotel and will return again when I’m in the area. Definitely a good value for the money and excellent staff.
