"The best thing is that they provide towel for just some refundable deposit and no actual cost. Never seen such effectively free towel service in any hostels anywhere. Robinsons Fuente mall is the main landmark to locate this hostel. The staff is courteous, smiling and professional. They have a kitchen downstairs where you can cook your food and/or use the utensils microwave etc. The actual dorm room looks kinda compact with 6 bunk beds, but it was ok. The staff should remind the lower bed guests to keep their bags shoes & stuff properly, they were scattered all over the floor. There is only one toilet & one shower in dorm room. However, the staff told me that we can use the toilet & shower situated downstairs in the kitchen. They have lockers outside the dorm room which you can use with your lock. There is also a mini library outside the dorm. A nice open bar at their entrance. The only problem is there are many roosters in the compound which keep crowing day & night nonstop. Never seen such nonstop crowing roosters in my life!"

"Reception was a bit cold. Emailed them we’re celebrating our wedding anniversary and requested a surprise room set up for my husband yet the manager does not read email on time as they knocked on the door at 6pm to offer the “surprise”. Bathroom toiletries are ill equipped— for the price of the room I don’t want to be asking room services for lotion or earbuds! Booked a celebratory dinner at Dip, their open wines are past their acceptable rate, we requested to open a fresh bottle. Surprised to see them return the “expired ones” back on shelf after using an “oxy vacuum machine”. Sad. Our server is very good and polite, a snappy young man (sorry forgot his name). Thank you dong, you’re really attentive. Food: Beef cheek was good, but not the Wagyu beef, it has a lot of inedible parts— disappointing for the price. The side dishes were good. Breakfast is an okay spread."

"First off, my child absolutely loved it! The nannies were incredibly kind, and the water facilities were so specialized that my child didn't want to leave. However, the cleanliness was truly disappointing, especially the trash on the floor that was there from check-in. It was never cleaned up, even by check-out. The bedding was torn, revealing yellowed stuffing, and it seemed like they only made the bed and emptied the trash, with no actual cleaning. Breakfast was just okay; eat it if you're hungry. I highly recommend it if you're going for your kids, but don't expect the cleanliness or amenities of other 5-star hotels or resorts. The staff, though, were very friendly."

"Highly recommend this hostel! The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. It has its own amazing bar with a fantastic atmosphere; chatting and drinking with friends from all over the world in the evenings was especially enjoyable. Best of all, the room air conditioning is powerful, and the location is surprisingly quiet despite being in a noisy area, making for a wonderful experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time! Thanks to Elvie, Lovely and Maricel This stay was fantastic! A special thank you to the staff, Elvie, Lovely, and Maricel; they were not only professional but also incredibly warm and friendly, always with a heartwarming smile. The hostel's facilities were excellent—comfortable air conditioning, quiet accommodations, and a great bar—but it was the high-quality service from these three that truly impressed me!"

"Well, for one, the price is really low and the location is really good - just walking distance from Gaisano Country Mall and Robinson's Supermarket. There was a canteen at the ground floor so you can enjoy some sort of home-cooked meals instead of eating out. There is a billiard table and table tennis table as well and you can borrow paddles and balls to play. The only thing is this place really has a prison vibe as its structure is similar to the prisons in American movies. Also, this is the only hotel where the front desk takes lunch break. lol lol But anyway, the hotel is really good for its price."

"Not the first time staying here, and will go back again. Location is perfect, all the necessities can be found within a walking distance. Amenities: All the important amenities are available except for hand towels and you have to beg for towels and pretty much the replenishment of amenities after the room is cleaned, far different from the last time when it was still Belmont. First room we were given had a very mouldy smell and which gave the kids and I instant headaches. They eventually changed it after about 4 hours of waiting and intervention by Trip.com. This really put a damper on things. Breakfast: Great, the variety is good, but it’s the same pretty much everyday. The beach: Within 5 minutes walk, but don’t you dare lose of misplace the beach pass paper tag, they’re very uptight about it. The beach if not the best beach, very rocky which makes swimming pretty uncomfortable. However, the pool area is awesome and there are sun loungers all around and that makes up for the unpleasant beach. They provide swimming towels too! I must say it has developed a lot since the last time I was here and I can only hope they will keep improving."

The dorm-style room is surprisingly spacious, even with four occupants, and the price is very affordable for the value it offers. The shower and toilet are separate, which is a nice touch. However, the shower does not have a water heater, and the toilet does not have a bidet. Considering the affordable rate, these are understandable trade-offs. Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making the stay pleasant. A great budget-friendly option for travelers looking for a convenient location in Cebu."
