Hotel berhampiran Panganuron Falls, Cebu

I'm a bit disappointed. I've emailed them about the arrangement regarding the bed since this is supposed to be our anniversary celebration and they replied back acknowledging my email and they said that they have the service. But on our check-in, they said that they haven't prepared the room (this is already past 3pm) and that they will just send a cake but no cake was sent to our room. The room smells moldy and the flush in the toilet is not strong enough to flush everything away and takes a long time to have a 2nd flush (I have to take a bath first before doing the 2nd flush). The swimming pool was nice but it would be better if the water is heated since it is very cold up in the 22nd floor. The breakfast buffet is good and they have a variety of cuisines and they keep on refilling them.

I love the water dispenser idea to reduce plastic use. Can take hot, normal and cold water from the machine near my room 605. I felt so familiar when I decided to book a night here. When I went into the room I opened my email to see that I stayed once on 21 March 2019. Room is very large and comfortable although not new. The charming of the hotel and staff are still the same. Breakfast is set and simple. Restaurant is closed at 21:30pm so we had to walk outside to have dinner. Easy to find places to eat around the hotel. Near 2 Robinson malls at the roundabout and near a convenience store. Deposit 1,000 Peso. 7th floor has very high walls around so views are blocked. If they renovate, hope that they would make glass fences instead.

Tinggal bersama keluarga saya. Ia mempunyai bau yang sedikit hapak, tetapi lokasinya baik dan terdapat dua bilik mandi, jadi saya mempunyai penginapan yang sangat selesa. Satu perkara yang malang ialah hotel ditutup dari jam 12:00 hingga 2:00 pada hari daftar keluar, jadi mereka meminta saya mendaftar masuk dari jam 11:10. Sarapan termasuk dalam harga, jadi ia benar-benar berbaloi untuk wang.

OK, I start at 3 stars for providing what I paid for and go up or down from there. I feel I got good value for the money I paid. I booked online and got a substantial discount (paid 1400 PHP) on the standard rate. For the Philippines it’s a good try at a high end western hotel, but not quite. The area is good, safe, amenities and close to downtown and IT Park. My room was huge! You could play basketball in it 🤣. Good bed and linens. Shower and bathroom good. Kettle, coffee and water provided. Smart TV great, I left it logged in to whoever’s Netflix it was already in, you’re welcome ☺️. Now the iffy bits. Note, you have to b!tch repeatedly to get things fixed. The internet is shambolic. It was running at 5mbps. I complained and they installed a router in my room. That didn’t actually work properly and couldn’t be bothered to fight so I installed my travel router. Blazing fast (50mbps) internet 😊. No fridge in room 🤷‍♂️😞. The place is new, but not being maintained well, a Philippines problem all over. Rainfall shower sprayed upwards soaking the bathroom. Funky led light up faucet was very loose, just a matter of time before pipes burst. Grime starting to build up in the corners. BOTTOM LINE - it’s good for the 1400 PHP I paid but I would be disappointed at the full rate. Wow, you read all this 😳. Pls hit the helpful button 👍

Many areas need to be looked into although they may be small and seem not important. Like balcony, carpet, etc. The WC seem to be an awkward position. Big spread at the buffet breakfast include many Philippines varieties.

Kami meraikan hari lahir saya dan suami di resort ini dengan penginapan Bermalam. Kami berbesar hati kerana dapat menempah di hotel ini sehari sebelum penginapan yang dirancang dengan jumlah yang lebih rendah. Setibanya, kami disambut oleh kakitangan mereka yang mesra. Kami berseronok menerokai seluruh resort, dari berkanu di pantai hingga berenang hampir semua kolam. Kami diberi bilik dengan pemandangan laut yang menghadap ke seberang resort. Dan saya menyukainya kerana ia lebih tenang dan jauh dari kesibukan. Saya juga cuba menempah kek untuk Hari Lahir kami pada keesokan harinya dan meminta kakitangan mereka menghantar kek semasa sarapan untuk memberi sedikit kejutan untuk hubby. Kami sangat gembira kerana kami bukan sahaja menghantar kek ke meja kami, malah beberapa kakitangan mereka juga menyediakan nombor tarian sambil menyanyi di atas meja kami. Cara untuk memulakan hari anda, bukan? Terima kasih kepada semua kakitangan dari Solea Mactan Resort kerana menjadikan hari kami sebagai tambahan untuk kami. Kami sangat ingin kembali ke resort ini pada percutian keluarga masa depan kami lagi!

We had a late and delayed flight but grateful the van (free airport shuttle) waited for us. The lobby was simple & check-in was easy. Before going up to our room, they asked us to get the amenities we need (dental kits, shaving kits & combs). We stayed at the Twin C Room, it has a big ref, kitchen sink, tv, microwave, dining table & chairs & 2 big beds. The bathroom was like the ones in Japan, compact & small. There were no cabinets too. The beds were comfortable to sleep on & the ac was working well. Breakfast was served in what was like a cafeteria hall, it was supposed to be plated but it was served buffet style, breakfast menu was simple. It changes everyday. Location of the hotel is superb & convenient because its connected to J Centre Mall and there were pharmacies, banks, convenience stores & a spa nearby. Happy to have our massage there. The hotel was also beside the Skywater theme park but unfortunately it was indefinitely closed. Checkout was easy too. They allowed us to leave our luggage because we have a late flight, we just came back for it. We weren’t able to avail of the free shuttle going back to the airport because we weren’t able to book a day before (it’s not automatic even if they have your flight information), good thing we have relatives to bring us to the airport. Overall, price was reasonable and we had a nice & comfortable stay here.

First off, I’ll start by saying rather pay a little extra and stay at the Belmont Hotel next door, which I’ll explain below. I stayed at the Belmont Hotel for 2 nights and 5 nights at Savoy Hotel. Had I had the choice of being able to refund at the Savoy, I would have done so. Let me start with the positives. The cleaning staff and staff alike at Savoy are absolutely fantastic - so kind, so respectful and friendly. The attitude of the staff should be commended! The service of the room was good. The front desk staff, some of them, may just let you stand and wait aimlessly. I initially booked the Superior Deluxe Room. I arrived at 12pm and check-in was at 3pm. I eventually got to my room and it was tiny. Plus there’s an adjoining door to the room next door where you can hear everything. I then noticed several dead cockroaches in the bathroom. I then went downstairs and changed rooms and paid for an upgrade for the Deluxe Premier Room which was bigger and no adjoining room. Note that at the Belmont the room was not an adjoining room and had good sound insulation. Upon entry to my now upgraded room, there were several live cockroaches in the bathroom and then some baby ones on the wall behind the sofa and on the bed! I immediately changed rooms again! This time the second room was better. It was a corner room with a view of the ocean at one side and the swimming pool at the other. Every day, the staff serviced the rooms really well, I must commend Savoy for this. However, Savoy really needs to purchase new bathroom towels which are yellowed, broken and tattered. The room is good at blocking out noise from outside, and the bed was relatively comfortable. You can’t, however, order breakfast from the restaurant unless you purchase the buffet. Makes no sense as you should give your guests a choice if they want the buffet or order breakfast from the hotels breakfast menu. Overall, the highlight of my stay was the incredible and friendly staff (servicing staff and security) who always, numerous times a day, greeted us warmly with a big smile. The rate is very affordable. The place is very convenient and accessible. Overall is highly recommended.

Amazing spa service with amazing result for lobby. Look Sunset bar was strategically located next to the swimming pool and the infinity view of the ocean. Dinner buffet was surprisingly romantic, situated in the garden next to the bay front left the ambience however, they need to consider to pack their table and chair later not when the guest are still having their dinner so attitude was great everyone’s greeting you and treating you l with friendly and welcoming attitude:From the front doorman to the kitchen stuff you met at the corridor. Since Ball is the heart of energy after 8 pm with the set up of pool, table, darts and acoustic band at the night, the other part of the result were quiet and not so happening .. the room facing sea with amazing view come with the one chair balcony which supposed to be 2. there’s a tiny bit of smell on the right side bed if you’re sleeping there close to the wall of the bathroom.
