Hotel berhampiran San＇s Elegant Trading, Cebu

It was my Cebu stop over as my next flight was early morning. The place is clean. Hot and cold shower was working. There is a service van to the airport for free. Very much recommended!

I'm a bit disappointed. I've emailed them about the arrangement regarding the bed since this is supposed to be our anniversary celebration and they replied back acknowledging my email and they said that they have the service. But on our check-in, they said that they haven't prepared the room (this is already past 3pm) and that they will just send a cake but no cake was sent to our room. The room smells moldy and the flush in the toilet is not strong enough to flush everything away and takes a long time to have a 2nd flush (I have to take a bath first before doing the 2nd flush). The swimming pool was nice but it would be better if the water is heated since it is very cold up in the 22nd floor. The breakfast buffet is good and they have a variety of cuisines and they keep on refilling them.

The property itself if quite nice with spacious rooms, a refrigerator, electric kettle and microwave and a smallish but working TV. Outside, there's a common lounging area with nice sofas and you get free parking. The corridors are spacious and the decor is tasteful. There's no elevator, though, and the 3rd floor is actually four flights up. Unfortunately, I asked for a room clean on the 3rd day of my stay but it didn't happen. The worst really had to do with their online booking and payment system. I charged my room to my BPI account, which was deducted from my bank account but the transaction wasn't acknowledged by Copenhagen Residences. They said that I had to deal with their online payment gateway - Asiapay. I asked for the phone or email but the person from Copenhagen didn't have it. Like, wow. My hard earned money down the drain. I tried looking for Asiapay's contact details but the website only had the HK email address. I tried calling the number but didn't get an answer. What a way to ruin what would have been an otherwise pleasant experience.

This is a perfect hotel for a stopover before or after a flight. It is clean and smart with comfortable well equipped rooms. The small pool is a nice bonus as if free hourly airport transfers. The staff were wonderful. I have never before stayed in a hotel with such friendly and polite staff.

We had the pleasure to eat at Belmont Cafe. It was an exceptional experience and the service was second to none. From the greeting upon entry to the quality of food and the attentiveness we received, the entire time was incredible. We had the four cheese pizza, fresh lumpia, Laing and other items. The food was beyond delicious and can’t wait to taste more dishes in the future. We want to give special recognition for Chef Ri, she checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food, a rare thing and much appreciated. Special recognition as well to our server Michael, he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and was one of the most attentive I have seen, he provided the highest quality of service and others in the future will have a hard time matching his skills. Thank you for all you did to make our dinner one we will not forget.

Liked · Well-located, close to malls, businesses and restaurants. Just about 15-20 minutes to the airport by taxi, maximum. Room was huge and had a safe for valuables. Disliked · Where do I begin? I had to book this property last-minute, after my AirBnB cancelled on me also on the same day of arrival. The free shuttle they advertised came one hour late and only after I called at least 5 times once I arrived (and they picked-up the phone only twice). I arrived late to work remotely because of this. It did not get much better after that, as the restaurant food was WAY overpriced (much more expensive than in the USA or Europe, no less), and so were the snacks offered (if you get hungry, just walk across the street to Robinson's or SM and get something to eat there). The internet kept going down, at some point, 3 times within the same 2 hours (lost much more time of work because of this, and it was just a mess). I stayed here for 3 nights and NOT ONCE was the room cleaned or tidied up. The shower had low water pressure, and the bathroom also had a couple of very tiny cockroaches that came out at night. Will not be staying here again.

We had a late and delayed flight but grateful the van (free airport shuttle) waited for us. The lobby was simple & check-in was easy. Before going up to our room, they asked us to get the amenities we need (dental kits, shaving kits & combs). We stayed at the Twin C Room, it has a big ref, kitchen sink, tv, microwave, dining table & chairs & 2 big beds. The bathroom was like the ones in Japan, compact & small. There were no cabinets too. The beds were comfortable to sleep on & the ac was working well. Breakfast was served in what was like a cafeteria hall, it was supposed to be plated but it was served buffet style, breakfast menu was simple. It changes everyday. Location of the hotel is superb & convenient because its connected to J Centre Mall and there were pharmacies, banks, convenience stores & a spa nearby. Happy to have our massage there. The hotel was also beside the Skywater theme park but unfortunately it was indefinitely closed. Checkout was easy too. They allowed us to leave our luggage because we have a late flight, we just came back for it. We weren’t able to avail of the free shuttle going back to the airport because we weren’t able to book a day before (it’s not automatic even if they have your flight information), good thing we have relatives to bring us to the airport. Overall, price was reasonable and we had a nice & comfortable stay here.

First off, I’ll start by saying rather pay a little extra and stay at the Belmont Hotel next door, which I’ll explain below. I stayed at the Belmont Hotel for 2 nights and 5 nights at Savoy Hotel. Had I had the choice of being able to refund at the Savoy, I would have done so. Let me start with the positives. The cleaning staff and staff alike at Savoy are absolutely fantastic - so kind, so respectful and friendly. The attitude of the staff should be commended! The service of the room was good. The front desk staff, some of them, may just let you stand and wait aimlessly. I initially booked the Superior Deluxe Room. I arrived at 12pm and check-in was at 3pm. I eventually got to my room and it was tiny. Plus there’s an adjoining door to the room next door where you can hear everything. I then noticed several dead cockroaches in the bathroom. I then went downstairs and changed rooms and paid for an upgrade for the Deluxe Premier Room which was bigger and no adjoining room. Note that at the Belmont the room was not an adjoining room and had good sound insulation. Upon entry to my now upgraded room, there were several live cockroaches in the bathroom and then some baby ones on the wall behind the sofa and on the bed! I immediately changed rooms again! This time the second room was better. It was a corner room with a view of the ocean at one side and the swimming pool at the other. Every day, the staff serviced the rooms really well, I must commend Savoy for this. However, Savoy really needs to purchase new bathroom towels which are yellowed, broken and tattered. The room is good at blocking out noise from outside, and the bed was relatively comfortable. You can’t, however, order breakfast from the restaurant unless you purchase the buffet. Makes no sense as you should give your guests a choice if they want the buffet or order breakfast from the hotels breakfast menu. Overall, the highlight of my stay was the incredible and friendly staff (servicing staff and security) who always, numerous times a day, greeted us warmly with a big smile. The affordable and nearest hotel to the Mactan Airport. Just a ride or if you have a light baggage, you may have a walk to the airport. The staff are kind and good, hey even upgraded our room to the next level room type. The facility is fairly good and clean. Though it is not the same with some popular hotels with exceptional amenities. The room that we had have no equipments such as bidet, water heater or even bottles of drinking water. For a quick rest and stay, its good.

Had a good time there, good service and lovely pool. We had perfect aroma oil and stone massage. Staffs were welcoming. Food was good too. Easy access with walking distance to both domestic and international airport. Overall stay was great
