The property has maintained what one expects from TAJ hospitality. From check-in through check-out was an excellent experience. Service received from every staff member was very courteous, professional and personal. Food at the restaurants was very good, while the attention provided was exceptional. My colleague from Singapore, who also accompanied me in this visit share the same opinion and was very impressed as well.

The hotel is very near to elante mall and They have given me the elante mall facing room also they help me for morning buffet breakfast as I am allergic to many things . The chef prepared special food for me which is very delicious… If I get another chance I will definitely stay there

The wifi is pathetic. The TV have very poor picture quality; there was no operating restaurant other than for breakfast between 6.30am to 10am. The entry to the hotel from the road level is obscure and hidden. There was no room service. I had a heritage room and there was nothing heritage about it except for plastic woven ratten pattern on the wall. The room lighting was pathetic and the arm chair came apart at the first sitting. The thumping from the night club on the 13th floor made sleep impossible.

Excellent property. Service is great, Thanks to Front Office team Breakfast could have been better. I stayed at family room and the room is quite spacious having two interconnected rooms loaded with amenities The best thing about the property is the location.

The hotel's superb facilities, impeccable service, and caring staff made our stay truly unforgettable. The hotel's location was perfect - close to major IT companies and away from the city's traffic. The dining facilities were exceptional, with a wide range of options. The staff were the true stars of our stay. From the warm welcomes at the door (Manpreet, Mukesh, and Amandeep) to the friendly reception team (Pranjal and Amrinder Gill), the attentive restaurant staff (Chef Amit and his team), and the diligent housekeeping team, everyone was cheerful and eager to help. The view from our room was breathtaking, making our stay feel like a home away from home. I must commend the management and staff for their exceptional service. A special mention goes to Mukesh and Manpreet's honesty - I misplaced a valuable bag with a bottle of wine at the Main Entrance, and to my surprise, they returned it to me intact, with contents worth ₹75,000 (approximately $866). The rooms have a good layout, the beds were comfortable. Staff and service is great. Would definitely recommend coming to this hotel. The breakfast was good and to our taste. Everything is well maintaining. We would definitely visit again. One of the staff (Shiv) who served us breakfast in the morning was excellent. Has good service, well spoken.

Of late, have started staying at Mountview when visiting Chandigarh. It gets back all the nostalgic memories of 20 years back when we used to stay in Chandigarh. Remember the lip smacking Chinese food at Magic Wok and how we used to come to their dining restaurant for the most amazing cheese omelette on Sunday mornings. Also realised, there is no substitute for experience. Believe they would have the most vintage employees working for them. The service levels are the same, to put it straight - amazing ! The rooms/ infrastructure could do with some catching up with the newer top notch names that have now come in Chandigarh. But when you get the kind of service that wows you, who cares as much. Afterall you’re staying only for 1-2 nights ! Rock on fellas !

A 3 star property not too far away from shopping places. It’s not a dominant looking hotel and the slow reception is on the first floor which is accessible by stairs. There is a lift which is tucked away in a dirty disorganised room so look for signage is mobility is an issue. Expect average room which is spacious and has most traveller ammenities. Well worn but out of the two rooms mine had clean worn out linen but the other room the linen was dirty so I had to ask for it to be changed which was done graciously. Otherwise the bathrooms were clean and constant hot water which is not something you find in all hotels. Since there was only an aircon with cooling only we requested heaters and it was provided to us with no extra charge. There is only veg menu in room but apparently non veg menu would be available if needed. It was a good one night stay.
