Every hotel staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. We received welcome snacks snd message in the room. The room was modern with air condition, high ceiling and nice amenities. Breakfast was buffet-style as and adequate. Location is very close to many shops and restaurants but without the noise. I enjoyed the deep tissue massage at their spa. Enhancement areas suggested for Room 11: shower door does not close; the queen bed was two separate single beds put together instead of one mattress, and with separate bedcover sheets instead of one queen sized bedcover sheet; a kettle would have been useful.

This is a most amazing resort with excellent separate rooms like a condo, and each and every staff member we encountered over 6 night stay at lobby , concierge, shuttle drivers, waitresses etc were obsolutly amazing!, helpful and smiling in all regards. The food at dinner and breakfast had great variety daily. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we encountered. The guest room was spacious with a private pool area. We have travelled all over the world and stayed at Marriot's and Hiltons, but we had the best experience at this hotel. The ambience was peaceful and totally relaxing in this new resort. They served a delicious drink of 40 herbs when we checked in. It was delicious. We extended our stay by 2 nights as we were having such a great experience. The guest relations manager, Sophia, and all the staff were asking us how our stay was daily. personal attention is what we received. We were given a token of gift of crete upon checkout. Thank you so much Sophia and the team for making us truly welcome. We loved it so much we will return again. Thank you to all of the team members! Have a wonderful time off over the slow season.

thank you for a pleasent stay, upgrande of our room and gluten and lactose free meal supply. Animators Carla and Lauda were our favourite ones and our daughter talk about them even we already returned back to home. For her absolutely fantastic holiday. I can´t also forget to mention the Magic Circus Show and the French protagonists. They makes their job so profesional and makes the people smily and happy. That was absolutely good choice of the hotel managers to choose them !! Fingers up who sign them. From our point of view everything was fine. Overall a really nice and enjoyable 6 nights. Positives: Clean rooms and hotel Spacious (Maisonette) room Good quality food and in the majority very tasty. The 5 course a la carte is plentiful and so are the options at breakfast. Can also use the sister hotel (Pilot Beach Resort) which has its own stretch of beach and free sunbeds - note this is a family resort so lots of young children (predominantly german clientele). The resort is only a 5 min drive away and Amphora offers a free timetabled shuttle service. Close to restaurants and cafes nearby (in Georgioupoli). Irina and the blond lady at dinner (sorry we did not note her name down) were so friendly and accommodating. Negatives: The biggest gripe for us (on a beach holiday) is that towels, shower amenities were not replaced daily. This is an inconvenience when you are showering multiple times a day. A number of TV channels didn't work. Only 2 english speaking news channels. No capability to watch apps in the room i.e. Netflix Although most the staff (including the hotel manager) were friendly, we sensed a couple were disingenuous. This is exacerbated when it's a small hotel.

We never usually like to book big hotels when visiting Greece as we usually spend very little time in them. This one caught my eye and I’m glad it did. Communication from the UK to Minoa before we left was exceptional. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room. A lovely bottle of red wine was given to us as a gift which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The pools were great. Always sun loungers available which is a big plus. We are at the pool bar and the Italian restaurant which are both top quality at good prices. They did fitness classes in the pool three times out of the 7 we were there. They also had a lovely Jazz band on one evening which sipping cocktails at the piano bar. We never got time to use the gym or the spa sadly but we had a sneak peak and it looked great. The beach bar was a lovely touch and the sunset from there was so special. One last thing… we had a leaving gift of tea bags and olives in a lovely Minoa gift bag. I had a fantastic 4 night stay at the Chania Flair! After being greeted with a cold towel, glass of champagne and smoked salmon, I knew that my stay would be great. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The a la carte breakfast was great and there was a wide selection of hot and cold options. My room was huge and spotless, and the bed was very comfy. The only con of the room was that it looked over he neighbouring apartment building (so, not a very interesting view from the balcony). The hotel sent a fruit plate and a bottle of wine to the room...they know how to spoil their guests. The beach is right next to the hotel, and the hotel has a dedicated section on the beach (which was great!). Again, staff at the beach and at the Hagen Dazs (which is associated with the hotel) were all great. I used the roof top pool once during my stay, which had great views over the sea. I had a very relaxing stay at the Chania Flair and would absolutely stay here again!
