My husband and I recently got married at the Rodd Charlottetown, and we loved our experience! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly and all of our needs were met. The price for the services rendered was very reasonable, and the food was absolutely incredible. They helped make the day truly memorable!

My family and I left Toronto on August 28 2023 and arrived in PEI on the 29th having pre-booked a cottage in Tracadie for 2 weeks. The only thing I will say about the cottage is that it was inhabitable. We decided to drive to Charlottetown, find a hotel for one night and return to Toronto. Having stayed at a number of Quality Inns driving to and from Florida, for many years finding a Quality Inn for one night in downtown Charlottetown was a breath of fresh air and what a find! The kindness, warmth and compassion shown to us by Tanya Bevin General Manager and the young lady at reception touched our hearts. Tanya was able to secure two suites for us for one night, one at the Sutherland House and the other at Holland Grove House two separate buildings outside the main hotel. A read on the history of the ‘Inn on the Hill’ and the two buildings is a must. The Inn is within walking distance of virtually everything. The two suites were unbelievably clean with a four poster king size bed, armchairs, desks, A/C, TV, fireplace, bay windows, wood floors and a kitchenette equipped with a full fridge, microwave, table and chairs.The bathroom had a shower etc. and outside the bathroom was a tub with a privacy screen. We had more towels than we would ever use. All the comforts of home, plus. Exactly what we needed for a good night’s rest after a horrific start to our PEI holiday. Tanya, excellent job in selecting, training and mentoring all members of your team. This is what sincere and warm hospitality ought to be. You, Francie, Jenn, Cathy, Sanjeedah, cleaning staff and Mayra in the dining room have shown us just that. Your team has commitment, superior people skills, attention to detail, teamwork, enthusiasm and a great attitude. You and your entire team bring your A-game every day and night and always with a smile. Thank you. . Needless to say, we decided to stay for another week. There is so much to do and see that a week is not long enough. From the quaint villages, red sand and cliffs, lighthouses, beaches, seafood restaurants and bars, some with live music, The Farmer’s Market on Sundays, numerous historical buildings, shopping on Victoria Row, the waterfront, the Anne of Green Gables shop, farms, fishermen bringing in their day’s catch at the North Shore, hiking trails, places of worship and so on. Let’s not forget the gentleness of the Islanders. As Charlottetown has been the birthplace of Confederation since 1864 every street walked, every building and every corner passed envelops you with history. Living in downtown Toronto, I was in awe. So many adventures and more history is waiting for us. We are already planning a return trip to PEI next year.

Absolutely spectacular experience from start to finish - we could not have been happier. What a beautiful hotel, attention to every detail has been made to ensure a perect experience. They have gorgeous views, modern and incredibly clean facilities but the staff are the real stand out here. They literally treated us like royalty and we were completely blown away - special shout out to Antenique! I had an a very awful birthday the previous year, my husband had taken me to a luxury resort in St. Andrews NB and they reallly missed the mark. So he asked for some birthday happiness if they could this year and they went above and beyond. The deck was beautiful and the room was gorgeous, really ceilings and tons of windows. Super comfy bed, robes and a beautiful living room and dining area. Furniture is all top notch and television too. They decorated with balloons, synthetic rose petals, 2 huge champagne bottle balloons and a beautiful birthday banner. I was shocked. The pool and onsite facilities are all gorgeous and amazing location, you are close to everything you could possibly need. Valet parking was a bonus. Bravo Holman Grand! We will see you again soon. What a charming and quirky hotel. Charlottetown is a lovely small city, dotted with historic buildings. One of those is the Dundee Arms Inn. The lobby and common areas aren't air conditioned, and we arrived on a particularly warm day. I worried as I entered carrying our things up to our third floor room. Thankfully, the room had a very efficient air conditioner. The room had lots of character, almost magical. You enter into a sitting area with a sofa, tables, a desk, etc. To the left was a small but tasteful bathroom with the cutest little tub! The angles of the roof cast intriguing shadows. THe large and sturdy bed was situated in the turret, making for a tight squeeze for us larger men, but the space was a whimsical escape. The inn includes a large deck with numerous tables, mostly for drinks from the bar, but it's also a great place to dine on breakfast delivered from nearby eateries. The only real drawback is the lack of elevator. My advice for couples is to pack one small bag for both. That will save numerous trips up and down the stairs.

We liked that no children are allowed. But the type of customer are young adult who acts worst than children. All of them are drunk and loud, banging on eachother's room door talking loud. We think this hotel is made for the people who wants to party and crash. There's no tv, refrigerator, microwave in the room. Only a bed and bathroom. It was clean.
