Hotel Chartres dengan Bar

Room: the queen bed was more like a king. Had a love seat sofa that is a pull out. Full length mirror, hair dryer not attached to wall, only liquid soap at sink & shower(for toiletries ). Air con was great!!(on sept 12!!) Parking: 8€/24hr & it is “in & out”! Attached to the back of the property off of the back patio with tables & chairs. Hotel: full bar with beer taps(was able to get a free huge glass of ice here!) breakfast room with tables & chairs, & lobby with sofa & tables & chairs(with scrabble, trivial pursuit , books,cards. So very nice common areas 24/7 & also a vending area with drink, snacks, toothpaste, etc. WiFi work well!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mercure Chartres Centre Cathedrale, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé un agréable séjour malgré quelques problèmes mais le personnel fut à l'écoute et la politique de l'hôtel commerçant. Le point négatif reste la vue que nous avions de notre chambre (aucune notre fenêtre donnée sur des murs). La literie est excellente et la taille de la chambre correcte, en revanche l'emplacement des WC peut poser problème selon la morphologie des clients. Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé un bon séjour mais je m'attendais à mieux en terme de prestations pour un 4 étoiles

We had an outstanding suitte the size of a small apartment. Included entry way with large bath and separate toilet, separate bathtub and shower, double sink. The bedroom area had 2 sofas, a desk with chair, and two easy chairs. Very comfortable and unique decor. Breakfast room/brasserie is lovely, under a skylight. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with many choices of eggs, cereals, yogurt, several breads, bacon, etc.. Very comfortable bed with top quality linens and pillows. Good elevator. We didn't use the main restaurant as it was closed the days we were there (Sunday and Monday), but there are a number of restaurants in Chartres and the hotel brasserie was open.. Hotel is in a 17C mansion, so if you are expecting a generic hotel experience, this isn't it, although the room and hotel are fully modernized (including A/C, not needed during our visit. Location of hotel is optimall for visiting the cathedral and walking around the charming old city with little shops, bars restaurants.

Executive room clean and well equipped (apart from broken safe) but dinner ruined by roaming dogs sniffing around our feet in the restaurant. No segregation of dogs to one area. Service variable, Accor seem to be struggling to get staff like everyone else. Parking good, location by A11 motorway very convenient. No-one seems to know what the express breakfast is. The Accor restaurant menu seems universal across their properties and after a few stays the choice is exhausted. A good place to stay to visit Chartres as the bus stop to the centre is just outside the property.

I have a disablement and the hotel staff were so very kind. Also you have a small charge topark in thetiny hotel car park, but we did this and the room which had a wonderful bathroom nextto a large room.It was attractive. The receptionist was very kind. We were close to the centre of Chartres only 5-10 minutes to the pilgrimage at the Cathedral and charming town. There is a cosy lounge to sit in and the breakfast even offered Bacon and Egg as well as a charming waiter who couldn't do enough.There was a huge buffet of French breakfast items and various fruits. We were very well treated. The bathroom was quite luxurious with a chair for a disabled person to have a shower. The little town centre was charming.We would definitely stay here again!

Friendly service and nicely furnished. The comfortable and large patio in front makes for a great entrance. Our room was really nice, maybe a little small and the shower was small but we had prepaid on a special rate. There are variations on the rooms, I am sure. The restaurant exceeded our expectations and it was great to eat right at the hotel after a long day of touring around.

A night stop over booked on line for two rooms. No problems at all. Easy to find with secure parking behind the hotel (€10 for 24 hours) Comfortable rooms with all that is needed for one night though having your own kettle is an advantage. Comfortable bed and good shower with plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful with advice on local amenities. Only a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral and the centre of town. Restaurants tend to be expensive in the centre so we ate at the hotel. A good quality satisfying meal with good service. A good range of food for breakfast completed a great stay.

We chose the hotel as it is dog friendly and were not disappointed. Large secure car park, pleasant check in, large bedroom and very modern rooms. Breakfast was top class. It is a 5 minute drive into Chartres. We found a lovely park with free on street car park and wonderful Riverside walks which also took us into the town centre. Definitely stay here again on our way down South.
