Rayfont Hotel & Apartment Chengdu

Excellent stay. Confusing to locate at first. Soon set right. There are 3 hotels in the same area belonging to the same chain with 2 of them having very similar names. Coming from Chengdu east station was a breeze with the nice underpass. We booked 2 small single rooms. The reception was very apologetic about the size of the room. When we got to our room we were flabbergasted. It was big. Not huge but bigger than a lot we have been in. There was a large comfortable bed, nice pillows and all the bits one would expect from a Chinese hotel. I had a corner shower room which was humongous and my friends bathroom though smaller was big as well . I'm not sure we were upgraded but thank you Rayfont, we will be back. The only negative was the breakfast. Choices were limited and not very good. Otherwise a great stay.

The hotel is very close to the Chengdu East Railway Station, The location is very good, and a few steps downstairs is a breakfast shop and souvenir shop. Many restaurants, street foods around the hotel. Room is OK

The place is very close to train station, wr could see the trains parked from our windows. It is clearly a huge hotel. Everything was provided, it was clean and room was quite bigger than expected, especially the bathroom was very spacious. Water was given evwry day and everything was replaced.

The hotel is a superb world class hotel.. The hospitality is flawless with modern amenities.. Will definitely stay again in the future.. Truly recommended for families and solo tourists... Kudos to the receptionists for the 5A's services...

Close to Chengdu east railway heading east gate direction. When come out from east direction , can see the group 's hotel in front. Cross the road behind is this hotel Value for money. Going to Chengdu tianfu airport by high speed train only half an hour from Chengdu railway east station. By coach to airport takes 1 HR . Underground subway to city centre is next to railway station.

It's the best hotel with good location nearest to Chengdu East station and very beautiful clean room. The hotel service is also very good, very polite same as 5-star hotel. I'm very happy to stay here and I will come back to use their service again.

Good size room, reasonable price, very good location The staff are kind and help with everything, even things that are not hotel services such as giving directions.

The room: Better than I expected from the photos. Great hotel with nice, clean rooms and upmarket feeling, for a budget price. WiFi was fast, plus a nice view of the railway station. Only wished they had a fridge and microwave, otherwise fully equipped. Unlimited bottled water, just need to call the front desk to request. Many guests order food from Meituan and have it delivered to the ground floor. To get to the hotel: Convenient location, connected to Chengdu East railway station by a tunnel, but I found it easier to navigate above ground. From the railway station, you have to use the East exit platform (the station is huge! I went to the West exit and it was a long walk). From the East platform, look for Longemont Hotel building, after crossing the road, you have to walk a bit further past Longemont Hotel and Rayfont Hotel to arrive at Rayfont Hotel and Apartment. You will see some Tesla chargers outside the reception. Nearby: small restaurant available downstairs, many customers streaming in, even for takeaway. Okay food and very affordable. There's a fruit store and also a convenience store that sells a wide variety of things, from snacks and local products for souvenirs to toiletries and luggage bags. Recommend to walk to 凯德广场 nearby to explore the mall and supermarket. Tips: being a transport hub, it has great connectivity. Your options to get to Tianfu Airport are either: using bus number 4 for (costing 15 yuan), or opt for subway Line 7 then switch to Line 18 (costing 11 yuan). There is also a high speed train option but you will need to book tickets in advance. The bus is recommended since it is direct to the airport and easy to store your luggage, and departure is every 20-30 minutes. However, the TFU airport bus counter is difficult to find even though it is located inside the Chengdu East station, so you'll have to ask for directions. There is no bus to Shuangliu Airport, only by high speed train. Highly recommended for the clean rooms and good location.

Great hotel next to high speed train station. Good view. quiet and with a lot of space. Very friendly staff.
