One of a great hotels in Chennai. 10 mins away from shopping and restaurant by taxi. Staffs from the entrance, to the front desk, the waiters/waitress together with the house keeping staffs and not forgetting the technicians they were all super friendly and attentive. Rooms are spacious and nice. Overall we had a great stay and will surely stay here again for our next visit to Chennai.

Grand Chennai by GRT is strategic location if you are looking for a place in centre of town. Pondi Baazar is walking distance. We a had a good stay overall.

The housekeeping staff were accommodative and ensured that I had all the amenities for my stay. The chef always checked and wished me during breakfast and recommended several dishes to try. The reception staff and staff at the travel service were accommodative to the changes in flight schedule and were pleasant . I also indulged in a Spa session and it was out of the world. All my body pains were dealt with and was eased into a state of rest. It was a wonderful experience and the all the staff at GRT made my trip an enjoyable and memorable one.

Service and the staffs were v friendly and helpful. Especially the staffs from the breakfast corner . V pleasant and welcoming . I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there too . The staff who was v friendly and helpful is also seen in the photo below .

Fantastic Great Amazing service Would recommend this hotel

The staff at the reception are unaware and share misleading information. For example we were told the buffet is open when it was actually closed and then they told us to go upstairs and order room service. Completely wasting our time. The reception staff also have a hard time speaking/ understanding English and Tamil. So when they answer the phone (they take so long to answer), they don’t understand what we are saying. The reception phone line should not take that long, all other hotels answer so much faster. All other staff have been great, I think the reception team was terrible and have definitely provided me with misleading information numerous times.

Generally an excellent hotel. The best of the 3 hotels our group of 5 couples that stayed at the hotel.

Rooms are big and clean. The front desk staff Mr. Bala is very helpful and friendly. Im glad choose this hotel for my trip.

Decent hotel for the price, good stay, however it's not a 5 star hotel experience, more like a 4 star

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. The hotel is right next to the shopping area of Chennai, Pondy Bazaar. Silk is dirt cheap in India so it was fun shopping ***** Pondy Bazaar. Tailors charge 400rupees per pants or blouse so I had several outfits made. All these in the area of the hotel. There is a supermarket a block away from the hotel.
