We enjoyed our three night stay at the hotel over the New Years holiday. The staff at check-in was friendly as expected in Thailand. The hotel lobby furniture was slightly oversized for its space as we had to walk around it to get to the elevator. Our room was comfortable and large enough for our two moderately sized suite cases. We booked a room with breakfast, which was one of the best we have had at a hotel. We each got to order a couple dishes off the menu, which were excellently presented and tasted excellent. Additionally, there was a buffet with pastries, fruits, etc. Unfortunately, due to our early schedule two of the days we could not get the hot breakfast. On our last morning they provided a packed breakfast, which was a sandwich and other less memorable food. The hot breakfast was the most memorable thing for us about the hotel. I did also like the room design. In terms of hotel location, it is fairly central with shopping malls and restaurants a 5 – 10 minute walk away. We found traffic to be really slow around New Years with lots of Thais. This was my second time to Chiang Mai with my first trip in July over a decade ago. During both trips we had a friend who lives in Chiang Mai drive us around. I would say traffic during our first trip was not memorable, unlike at New Years. This made getting to the hotel from the main street slow and it may be better to pickup taxi/grab/ride on a main street. It may also be worth checking out when busy times are in Chiang Mai to have a more enjoyable trip.

The description of the hotel as a gallery hotel with 5* rating fooled me into booking for 2 nights stay. While the hotel is located at the very centre of Chiang Mai, it is not up to 5*: the breakfast was not that good compared to a normal 3* hotel, the room was not clean, towels were as old as 2 years never changed.

Staff was polite(as you find everywhere in Thailand), but unfortunately the room was not clean properly. I was there 4 days, my room was cleaned on my 3rd day there which I didn't see the point as I was leaving next day. Bed sheet & towels were stained and bathroom really needs a good scrub. Another disadvantage of staying there is that is far from city center so, the tour companies always asked me for an extra 400 bath to pick me up and dropp me off as it's beyond the 5 km radious within the city.

Stayed another 2 times here, with the rellies. One night when we arrived from Bangkok, the other night when we were heading back to Bangkok. The first night when we went inside the room it seemed like it was full of mosquitoes, certainly plenty of them!! I went down to reception and asked for some insect spray, but the staff insisted that a maintenance person do the deed. He arrived, bent down under the lounge room bench and gave a quick spray, towards the floor!! When he stood up again I took the can and sprayed around the room and bathroom for him. We went out for dinner and when we came back all the pests had gone; Magic!! The second night was fine, for once. Just under 1,000 baht for the 2 nights, so getting cheaper too.

I would say, you guys should better check with your team and make sure if you’ve fully set them up in the first place before having a courage to ask guests to go up to the room and check them out unnecessarily. It wasn’t there in the first place and it kinda ruin our mood entirely with just one hand towel that we wouldn’t care bringing them back at all. We were about to end our trip happily but… that happened. So, lesson learned.

Tried both the superior double and super deluxe rooms. Both are great value for money but recommend the super deluxe with the extra space. Bathrooms are a bit outdated, especially the showers. Has water gun in the toilet.

I stayed for 2 nights, was upgraded for the second nights. The great hotel in nimman! Service was great! The fronts was very friendly, gentleman and great service! The rooms were huge, smell nice, clean, comfortable like home! There were parking lots free. I recommended this hotel. I will come back for sure!
