Hotel berhampiran Chiayi Cultural Park, Chiayi

住宿地點離文化夜市非常近，免找停車位的時間，非常棒，但房間內冰箱不冷，導致放置的飲料都不冰，沒有保冰（冷凍）效果，隔音不是很好，容易聽到走廊的講話聲，希望可以改善，窗簾遮光效果不佳，容易被陽光亮醒，體驗上都OK，有機會會再造訪！

Located next to the Wenhua night market, and provided all the amenities required for a normal traveller, and the check-in was smooth. The breakfast buffet provided variety of food to fuel up for the day, especially providing great options of vegetarian dishes. Bath salt was also the highlight, giving a moment of relaxation. However, the bath is quite small and only fits for 1 person (not even a tall one), so it was not easy for getting my partner to enjoy it together. And the wash basin looked heavily used like gonna be breaking very soon.

Very pleasant and relaxing staying over a night, even my family arrived late and very like the interior design... The only thing I am thinking of is that, it would be better if the heavy carpet floor can be replaced by light fresh wood floor.... Thanks!

The location is good, not that far from the train station. It closes to the night market which we can find good food to eat at night time. The hostel has pretty large space and clean. The toilet is good. And They provided bread and drinks for breakfast. However, the staff is not that friendly. But it’s the nice place to stay.

Great stay and the room is big. Only 1 thing not so good was that the TV had rather poor reception for overseas Channel. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Great location, good that they have a parking lot but need to walk a distance, not convenient with luggages. Hotel is clean, but room is very small. Separate bath and toilet. Water cooler just outside the room. Recommend!

I recently stayed at the Maison De Chine Hotel in Chiayi for two nights and was pleasantly surprised by the value offered. I booked one of the cheaper rooms without a window, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a cozy sofa corner, a separate tea-making station, and a cleverly designed layout with a separate toilet, bathroom basin, shower, and bathroom area. This setup provided a level of convenience and comfort that’s hard to find at this price point. Although I mostly used the room for sleeping, it was a great space to retreat to after a day of exploring. The reception team, especially Ken, was fantastic. They were always ready to help, whether it was organizing taxis at a moment’s notice or offering detailed information on how to catch a bus to Alishan. One of the standout amenities was the free laundry room—an absolute lifesaver for someone like me who’s been traveling solo around Taiwan. It’s also worth mentioning the hotel’s excellent location. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the night market, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy some delicious street food. There’s a cheap and tasty breakfast cafe right across the road and a Family Mart around the corner, where you can conveniently book your HSR tickets. Overall, my stay at Maison De Chine Hotel was wonderful, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chiayi.

Nice hotel next to the station. All amenities you need except you have to pay for a towel if you need it. Access was easy and staff very friendly. Beds are on the floor but confortable. Enough plugs to charge your devices.

Hotel staff are friendly. Room is clean except found some hair on bathroom floor. Very good location just opposite the train station with many food options and convenience stores within walking distance. Amenities are old but in good working condition. Breakfast is very basic, not as good as what the other reviews have mentioned, acceptable given it’s free and very cheap room rate. Would recommend this hotel for 1-2 nights stay.
