This is a wonderful hotel located right off the shore of the beautiful Renyitan Dam. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk where you can watch the sunrise early morning!
The hotel lobby is gorgeous and room is clean and roomy. There are loaner bikes available right at the entrance of the hotel.
The women’s spa is closed for renovations at the moment but there is a game room where family with kids can enjoy a variety of activities.
The only drawback is that the hotel is outdated probably due to low occupancy. The breakfast buffet is only available when there are tour groups staying at the hotel.
This was my second time staying here this month and I really enjoyed it.

飯店周圍道路空曠，對面就是故宮南院及親子農場，周圍店家較少，周圍有一日式料理店CP值高、人多建議可提前訂位，飯店轉角處有7-11方便臨時買東西。
飯店地下室若為住客可免費停車，直接下樓停好後至櫃檯check-in時告知車牌即可，大廳氣派明亮、檯前服務人員親切，當天安排在高樓層邊間，雖然不是面故宮南院但視野遠闊、夜晚安靜不吵鬧。房間內部清潔打掃優秀，空調不會忽冷忽熱，採環保住宿故沒有提供牙膏牙刷，其他備品毛巾浴巾吹風機茶包等應有盡有，冰箱內飲品及桌面小點都可以免費享用，電視是MOD選台，無法直接行動裝置投影螢幕播放影片較為可惜（需要用HDMI線另外連接），床鋪軟硬適中、枕頭有軟硬各一組；衛浴採分離式，有免治馬桶座，浴缸很大、當天自備入浴粉前往泡澡很享受～ 其他公設使用需在三樓檯前登記，整體舒適、多元，但若三溫暖可以免費使用更好！
隔日早餐在二樓咖啡廳用餐，餐點種類多，中西日式都有，麵包除了基本款另有提供雜糧口味，果醬種類中的花生芝麻醬是嘉義自製品牌、濃郁美味，還提供嘉義涼麵、雞肉飯、鴨肉羹等在地小吃作為特色供住客自助使用，整體住宿經驗非常美好:)

PPengguna TetamuThis was really the best home stay experience we ever had! The owners are super kind. Upon arrival, they warmly welcomed us in and gave us delicious tea, apple, snacks, and their good company. The room itself had amazing views over the mountains, tea plants, and sakura. The room was really big, equipped with a good shower and comfortable beds. We even got a free room upgrade and tasty breakfast with fresh fruits. Next morning we were taken on a tour over the Tea Plantation and the owner told us not only about the process but could give us information on all the other plants like coffee plants, flowers, etc. We really hope we can stay here in the future again.

Das Abendessen (Hot Pot) und das Frühstück sind sehr lecker und der Service ist fantastisch. Am Morgen hat man 20m neben der Unterkunft einen tollen Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang. Auf der Terrasse vor der Unterkunft kann man schön sitzen und den Blick in die Ferne schweifen lassen. Wir würden bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt wieder kommen.

TTina LowRoom is spacious, clean and well equipped with toiletries. Walking distance from Shouzhen temple when we asked for direction to Sacred Tree Station back to hotel. There is even shuttle bus from Zhushan station back to hotel but not FOC which we are not aware of. We’re pleased that we can have refund(not full amt) on train ticket and pay for the shuttle bus service.
Hotel price is on the high side. Would have stayed one more night to spend more time on forest trails.

MMelvin Ryan TanThis is probably the most established hotel in Fenqihu, when you’re on the way to Alishan, either as a pitstop to get bento lunch or as an overnight stay.
The facilities are very old and dated (I think maybe 90s renovated?), I stayed in the Japanese inspired room so it was on a tatami and low tables. There’s even a solo Japanese tub for you to soak in. All good.
I appreciate the multiple wifi names as the property is quite sparse so the wifi signal is bound to be terrible. With multiple wifi spots with the same password, it’s easy to connect and have good wifi.
I don’t like that the aircon is non-existent that there’s a fan. There’s a dehumidifier because the room is very humid from the bathroom.
I think a lot of renovations need to happen to make this place more desirable.
The 3 walking tours are amazing, the guide is so informative and helpful, she takes really good Instagram content! She only conducts the tour in mandarin so take note.

Mengetahui bahawa hotel ini mempunyai sejarah, saya agak bimbang sebelum membuat tempahan. Saya membaca banyak ulasan yang mengatakan bahawa ia telah diubah suai dan sangat bersih senget dan kami dapat melihat matahari terbenam selepas memasuki bilik, kami benar-benar kagum, bilik itu sangat baru, bilik mandi dipisahkan dari basah dan kering, dan sinkinya besar.
Anda boleh melihat lautan awan yang indah dan matahari terbenam dari balkoni, dan di sebelahnya adalah Sisters Pond dan Stesen Chaping.
Sarapan adalah vegetarian dan mempunyai banyak barangan, tetapi ia tidak sesuai dengan saya. Alangkah baiknya jika ada mesin kopi. Ia akan sangat gembira untuk menikmati secawan kopi buatan tangan di Alishan yang indah! (Kopi tiga dalam satu benar-benar tidak sesuai untuk hotel pada harga ini)

They provide individual hotpots for dinner - great for the cold weather with fresh ingredients (although the soup is pretty bland). All in all a great stay 😊

AAndreasM- Nette Inhaberfamilie. Wichtig ist zu wissen, dass die Inhaberin nur rudimentär Englisch spricht, ihre Mutter gar nicht. Hilfreich ist es sich mit einer Übersetzer-App zu behelfen.
- leckeres chinesisches Frühstück mit Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge und Teefelder inklusive
- Die Unterkunft ist etwas schwer zu finden und nicht ganz so leicht zu erreichen, da man sie nur über eine schmale Bergstraße anfahren kann. Parkplätze sind jedoch ausreichend vorhanden.
- Schöne ruhige Lage inmitten von Teefeldern
- 10 Minuten mit dem Auto von Fenqihu entfernt, wo es die nächste Verpflegungsmöglichkeit gibt (Supermarkt, Restaurants, etc.)

Kkaren.with.a.catReviewing from a ”long-stay” (5 nights) point-of-view. Pros: Room is spacious enough for 2 pax + breakfast is not bad. Cons: Our room's toilet smells of mild sewage throughout our stay + sound proofing is not great. Every morning, we were awoken by doors banging/voices from people who went to see the sunrise. Recommend to stay only if you're budget conscious and have your own transport (which is recommended for all stays in Alishan anyways).

PPengguna TetamuNever seen such a weird hotel in my life for this price. I had already low expectations because of the reviews i read. But when checking in to the room we saw how small the room was. Even the bathroom with the bathtub was like children size. There were leftover clumps of hair on the floor and the floor was partly still wet. On the pillow were also leftover hairs, which felt really disgusting.
The room has a window which you can open, but the funny thing is that it doesnt open into the outside air. It opens into a alleyway which you cant enter. They build a new wall for the rooms 2 meters away from the outside wall of the building. I dont know what happened here, but it felt really strange. The bed itself was comfortable, and the location was perfect.
We received 2 coupons for the breakfast, but we didn’t knew we had to walk to other side of town to a restaurant. Also a bit weird in my opinion, but not the biggest problem. We watched the sunset and went up by train on the mountain. And we hiked back into town to the restaurant.
Long story short, my low expectations were right and it is definitely not worth 80 euro for a night. Please do a better job. Because you are located in a touristy place doesnt mean you can ask the same amount as every hotel in the area for a shid room!
Unless you really want to see the sunset and are traveling on a budget like me. This is the cheapest option and i guess alright for 1 night. But in comparison to the price, this hotel should be ashamed of themselves!
