We really enjoyed our four days here. The welcome was friendly - though we had to wait for the room to be ready. The room was large (very large for an Italian hotel), well-furnished and comfortable overlooking the garden and breakfast gazebo. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom good. It was a very hot few days - we went out each morning to nearby towns of interest - Monticchiello, Pienza, Montepulciano, Città delle Pieve, Panicale ... and came back to the hotel after lunch. At 4.00 we went to the pool - which was large, clean and well set up, pettily sited in the garden with Tuscan hills as a backdrop. We had booked half-board, so had breakfast and dinner at the hotel (in the Taverna, where the food and service was very good). Really a great break.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la sua posizione e per la piscina,docenti pernottare un solo giorno per spezzare il viaggio. Abbiamo avvisato che saremmo arrivati di mattina presto ,tra le nove e le dieci. Arrivati in loco, inizialmente il gestore ci ha informato che prima delle 14 non avrebbe potuto darci la stanza; ho chiesto quindi la possibilità di poter sostare in piscina fino a quell'orario, ma successivamente ci ha informato che una stanza si era liberata ed entro max 15 minuti ci avrebbe dato la chiave. Così è stato, dopo un po' di attesa in reception, ci ha consegnato la stanza.....degli orrori! A parte la struttura e l'arredamento datato, ma vabbè....il problema serio è stata la sporcizia! Capelli e peli di varia natura ovunque sul pavimento della stanza e soprattutto in bagno. Box doccia pieno di muffa nera, impossibile quindi pensare di fare una doccia 😒😒😒😒condizionatore in camera presente,ma non funzionante, sostituito da un piccolo ventilatore. Nessuna voglia di voler provare a cambiare stanza, tanto se lo standard è questo,a poco sarebbe servito. Il tutto per la modica cifra di euro 79!!!!!! Senza colazione, perché siamo ripartiti presto, anche se era prevista. A mai più!!!!! Sconsigliatissimo!
