Folegandros Apartments

We had a brilliant two night stay at Foliandros Apartments! The owner/staff are great, with a free transfer from the port and back and friendly service throughout our stay. The rooms are spotless and spacious with luscious beds that you just sink into. The room had a small hob/fridge in a little kitchenette area if you did fancy cooking for yourself, however the town was only a 5 minute walk away with plenty of choice! In the opposite direction you can walk up the hill to a monastery - a steep climb but worth the views. The pool area provided us with the sun and peace we were hoping for as well. Really would recommend this place to anyone if you want a relaxing, comfortable holiday.

Attractive, small complex. Apartments are traditional in style and they do vary in terms of style and design. Our kitchenette was tiny and not really useable but we saw others that were bigger and more modern. Our bathroom was also very small. The bedroom and sitting area were a reasonable size, however and we had a nice balcony over looking the pool. The quiet location on the edge of town, just below the church, and the big central pool, which has comfy loungers and a bar, are the best features of the property. Kostas, the owner, is also helpful and can arrange car hire, tours etc and also provides complimentary pick up and return to the port, which is a couple miles away. Overall reasonable accommodation at a decent price.

This is a lovely property. Our room was large and nice. The pool is fantastic. We had great views from our terrace. The manager us a star. Our check-in time was 3:00, and we were just wanting to drop our luggage and head to the beach. He worked with housekeeping to get our room ready early. Then he rushed across the property to get our beach towels in time for us to catch the bus. He personally drove us to the port when we checked out the next day. What a guy!

We spent 3 nights in Folegandros and chose to stay at Folegandros Apartments as it looked very pretty on the internet. Wow - it was even better when we arrived. It was so beautiful and pretty. Very well maintained. The rooms were amazing with a fantastic patio area, in fact we had 3 doors that opened up to a different patio area. The rooms were all very spacious and had plenty of storage. The decor was traditional and beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. The pool was larger than anticipated and had a nice jacuzzi area to the side which the boys loved. There were not many sun loungers around the pool but we never had any trouble getting free ones so not a problem. And there were plenty of deck chairs scattered around and tables and chairs to enjoy a drink or something to eat. On day 2 I discovered a rooftop terrace area with very comfortable beanbag style loungers, this area was amazing if you don't want shade. The owner was brilliant and very helpful. His wife and daughters were always around too and were very welcoming. The barman was also very friendly and helpful. We wish we had stayed longer as we enjoyed the apartments so much and also the area. We walked up to the church at the top of the hill (you can see this from the pool area) and saw the amazing sunset. The walk into town is 5 mins max and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from and venues to have a drink. The location was perfect. There is a bus just round the corner that takes you to the nearest beach which is probably about a 10 min drive away. The beach was lovely, very unspoilt and the sea was gorgeous to swim in. There were boat trips available from the beach. I will definitely return and will stay here again it was perfect. We loved it and I miss being there !!!!! SARTORETTI's

Complimentary pick up was very much appreciated. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette, dining area and balcony overlooking the pool and parts of Folegandros. We were located just out of the main town square area but within an easy walking distance to the many restaurants, bars, tavernas and cliff top views. The apartment was also at the start of the climb to the Church of Panagia which besides being a beautiful building has stunning views of the sunset. The apartments are also close to the local bus which we took to Ano Meria (and walked back from) and Agali Beach. The pool and bar were a welcome sight after a day of exploring the island. We enjoyed the apartment and the slow pace of Folegandros but don't be fooled, it comes alive at night in a very good way!

We stayed at the Folegandros Apartments for 7 nights and it was absolutely lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful and very approachable, the location is really good, the rooms are great and the pool and facilities are excellent. Chora is absolutely beautiful with lovely boutique shops and restaurants. It really comes alive at night and has a lovely atmosphere. On the hill overlooking Chora is the lovely church and the Folegandros Apartments are just at the bottom of the path leading to and from the church. An excellent location. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anybody and would love to return.

Family Run Hotel with a fabulous swimming pool area and beautifully decorated rooms. All amenities catered for and I could not find one thing wrong. I would stay there again. Customer service at reception was excellent. Places to see and things to do were clearly explained by our hosts. Pick up and drop off shuttle included which was a bonus

Fabulous from beginning to end ~ we were picked up from the port and arrived to a lovely apartment. Nicely equipped with all you need for a self catering stay. Apartment was spacious and immaculately clean. Pool is lovely - pool towels provided. The staff are constantly cleaning and painting I can see why the whole resort is so well looked after. Location is Very tranquil and minutes walk into the lovely town which has a great choice of bars and tavernas. Definitely recommend x

My daughter and her partner hired the entire hotel for her wedding on the 3rd June. Kostas the hotel owner made many trips to the docks to pick us all up. He could not have been a better host. The hotel is stunning. Beautiful and spotlessly clean. The pool and surrounding area are just wonderful. There is a small day bar that serves drinks and food. The lady running it is just lovely. The rooms are excellent and very different to your all inc rooms in a large hotel, many with balconies. Great beds. Spotlessly cleaned EVERY day. You're only 2 minutes from the lovely little town centre. Lots of little streets and no cars. Plenty of bars, restaurants and little shops. Food and drinks prices are very reasonable in comparison to Santorini. I truly could live here. Theres a nice walk UP the hill to the church where my Daughter was married but its high and its very steep. All in all, a wonderful hotel, a wonderful owner on a wonderful island. Sorry if Ive gone a bit overboard but it really is very special.
