Hotel berhampiran Governors Bay, Christchurch

設施：設施很齊全，有洗衣機和烘乾機，在這洗了好多衣服。一共三張床，兩個洗手間，配備了廚房用品，可以做飯。 衞生：很乾凈，配備了很多浴巾，雖然是老建築但是很乾凈。 環境：周邊特別方便，我們在希爾頓住了兩天轉過來的，傳統酒店更適合家庭入住，希爾頓太小了。而且我們在希爾頓入住第二天早餐費用還收多了，發了郵件也沒回。 服務：服務很好，有代客泊車服務，停車費每天25紐元。就是酒店前台很難找，一樓餐廳旁邊，開始以為是餐廳，歷史建築受保護，前台都不讓掛牌子，很多客人找不到，我們也是繞了一圈還是問了旁邊餐廳服務員才找到了。圖一是酒店入口，辦理入住是在進門後右手邊。

The hotel is in a great location, but it is a big hotel. The staff are very pleasant and they make it feel more personal. It is close to shops, restaurants / cafes, the tram and most of what Christchurch city has to offer. We booked direct with the hotel, a good price for the location, but our studio room had a view of a carpark and other room windows. The room was big enough but an extra chair would have been better. We did not like the uncomfortable pillows and the extremely heavy bed cover we had to remove. We don’t normally ask for clean towels each day, but had to with no where to hang to dry sufficiently and no electric towel hanger like we have had in most other hotels we’ve stayed in NZ. Overall a pleasant stay and no problem with valet parking.

Not too impressed, got put in the wrong room when I specifically booked the room for the balcony. The guy at the front was new which I understand but no one did anything to help. Walls are thin as anything could hear everyone’s conversation and 5 different people snore. Will never be back.

The good: location, comfort. The not-so-good: The room is a little dated and some of the kitchenware had not been washed well. The great: service and staff. They’re really friendly snd helpful!

Stayed at Fino in a 2 bedroom corporate apartment with a colleague for three nights to attend a conference. I will start by saying the location was excellent as our conference was across the road. PROS: The reception staff were outstanding and extremely polite. The apartment was a good size and worked well having two bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay. CONS: Bathrooms - grouting between the tiles was filthy, no where to hang your towel except over the toilet - yuk, the toiletries on the web page were not what you got - cheap dispensers on the wall of the bathroom that were empty so no way to wash ourselves on the first morning as there was no body wash nor soap. Had to ask twice and chase the cleaners to get them filled with poor quality product. No where to put your toothbrush or toiletries except to close the toilet seat and use that - yuk. The shower in the ensuite was in a very high sided bath and the shower head was so low that I had to get on my knees to wash my hair (I am only 5 foot 4). The main bathroom shower over the bath was broken and while my colleague was trying to shower very hot water was coming out the bath tap burning her feet - we brought this to the attention of the reception staff who said it would be fixed while we were out - but it wasn't. Bedrooms: no power points (in the entire apartment) that are close to a mirror to use hair dryer. Bedding was clean. General: apartment very sad and needs a good revamp. Lots of marks on the walls, missing paint, worn carpet, uncomfortable couch, damaged benchtop in the kitchen, very few coffee sachets left (enough for one weak coffee each). Had to ask to get more. We paid over $300 a night for this run down apartment with few amenities. Apart from the nice reception staff and the location I could not recommend. The pictures on the website do not represent what you are getting.

Excellent location to explore Christchurch attractions. Very clean and well appointed room for an excellent price (I was wondering what It may be getting into). The room quality was a 3+ star for US standards. The only negative is the lack of parking (only offstreet parking or may have to drive a block away for parking). The clean room, friendly staff and excellent location and the overall niceness of Christchurch and it's people in general made us quickly get over the initial stress of trying to find a place to park. The loveliest - particular thanks to Sam - front desk staff (and efficient too). Excellent location, only a short walk to the centre, and very pleasant if you go through the park. There is also a bus stop directly outside; it will take you to the centre, or go to the bus station and take a trip to Sumner or Lyttleton - both worth a visit. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable. For some reason though, complimentary water and crisps only appeared on our first day! Useful to have a guest laundry, but be warned there is only one machine for all floors... The kitchen area is fine, but not for those who want to cook up a storm - you need to ask for pots and pans. Not a problem for us as we preferred to eat out (try Rangoon Ruby nearby, good, if somewhat 'neutralized' flavours, as the waitress herself put it!) . Overall a really pleasant stay in a very interesting city.

Wow. Thought everything looked okay, until i had a proper look, apon arrival staff were not easily accessible and no where to be seen. Looking further into the room first off and the most important to note the curtains along with the windows were moldy!!!!! And had yellow stains on them! In the kitchen nothing matched not the cutlery cups etc along with sugar salt + pepper being in werid different containers. The shower still had bits of hair in it from the previous person, the roof was dirty and the door had a big dirty brown discoloured patch on it. While showering i also noticed that all three vents/ fans in the bathroom were full of dust, and the place i can see definitely needs a deep clean and vacuum!! Sadly that was not all. I know that its a little cheaper than other places but i still expect a high level of cleanliness especially as I’m paying to feel comfortable and stay here. The only really good things i have to say is the room, kitchen and bathroom are a good size, the owner i assume was nice when i saw them, there is free wifi and parking and the room was quite warm overnight. Personally wouldn’t stay again if i could help it

Everything about Lylo Christchurch has been good except there is no storage room to keep your luggage, however locker is there to rent with $2 per hour. Room is really clean and neat, comfy, everything just perfect (except the walking distance to airport need around 15 mins and is pretty straightforward right from behind the hostel) . Overall all has been a good experience, thanks Lylo!
