Excellent location close to the ****** and dining options, friendly host, we had a quiet back unit, sunny. Compact :-)

Walkable distance to the city centre. Very nice, comfortable and clean motel. Small setup but very cozy. There's free parking as well, not so common for many hotels in Christchurch. It's also just a 15 mins drive away from airport. Will stay again, need to book way in advance though.

The hotel is good and well maintained. Good amenities and the owners are very friendly. Only issue that we had was that it was next to Durham St. The street is noisy due to traffic and the area doesn't have great vibe due to Christchurch ****** nearby.

What a gem of a hotel. Stayed for two nights, short walk to main shops, eateries, ****** on your doorstep but you wouldn’t know it (no noise). Room had a kitchenette, separate bath and shower. The bath was a spa bath, modern, clean, awesome after a long day walking, sightseeing! Lady who runs the place was awesome. Staff pleasant. Car parking was easy and secure, gate closed at night. Highly recommend this place.

Property is conveniently located and quiet. Unit had a small kitchenette and couple running the motel were very helpful and friendly.

The owners obviously take a lot of pride in their property. They provide the extra little touches like fresh milk for tea and coffee, a good selection of toiletries and Sky television, which all add up for a very comfortable stay.

Street noise at night was loud. Not convent to down down and the lighting was dim, furniture was old and ‘used’

The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel room was clean and larger than expected. Nicely decorated and great location.

Overall nice stay. Easy to walk to several main attractions. Staff helpful. Clean facilities. Lower rating relates to very soft squishy bed. More support better quality bed is definitely needed.
