The facilities are a bit old. Its location inside Kyoto Station, offering great convenience for environment and transportation, accounts for a large percentage of its appeal. Otherwise, the value for money is just average.

The location is incredibly convenient, right on the second floor of Kyoto Station. Every time we exited the subway, we were practically at the hotel, which was super handy. The room itself was quite spacious, with a business-like aesthetic. The night view from the window was fantastic; from our room, we could see the railway lines of Kyoto Station, and I imagine the Kyoto Tower would be visible from the other side. It seems the swimming pool has a fee. When we checked out, my son forgot his watch in the room. After contacting Ctrip, the hotel located it and held it at the front desk. When we went to pick it up, they had even packaged it nicely in a bag for us. The service was absolutely excellent.

The location is incredibly convenient, right above the station and easy to find. It's a traditional, established five-star hotel with excellent service and facilities, and the rooms are spacious. On the 10th floor of the Isetan next door, there's a whole street of ramen restaurants that are absolutely delicious. It's also super convenient as a base for day trips to Nara and Kinosaki Onsen.

The location is the biggest advantage, right inside the JR train station. Kyoto Theater is downstairs from the hotel. Across the street is Isetan, and downstairs is the Porta shopping mall, which has countless dining options. In front of the station, there are taxi and bus stops. Behind the station are various long-distance bus terminals and hotel shuttle stops, as well as the airport shuttle station. The entire commercial area is well-designed, and the hotel is perfectly situated within it. The room size is generous, allowing 2-3 large suitcases to be laid flat. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation, and the toilet has its own private space. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Hotel Granvia's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right on the second floor, accessible by elevator on the left once you enter the main entrance of Osaka Station. Plus, there are several other entrances, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. Even just around the hotel, there's so much to explore. Inside the station, you'll find both Isetan and Porta shopping malls. The ramen at Ramen Street on Isetan's 10th floor is also delicious – I recommend the tantanmen; it's spicy and incredibly satisfying! When checking out, I bought a Hello Kitty Haruka e-ticket directly on Klook, and I could just scan my phone to enter and exit. The entrance is also right downstairs from the hotel, directly opposite the Kyoto Station entrance. If it's your first time visiting Kyoto, I highly recommend staying at Hotel Granvia.

The hotel's location is fantastic; it's so convenient for getting around since it's right inside Kyoto Station. This is our second stay here, and we'll definitely choose it again next time we visit Kansai. The service is also excellent, and the rooms are bright and spacious.

The hotel is conveniently located right above the JR station, with the lobby on the second floor and Kyoto Tower directly opposite. It's quite easy to get around. I didn't encounter any Mandarin-speaking staff at the front desk. At check-out, I was asked to pay a tax, which I wasn't aware was an additional charge. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure. The only downside was the noise from passing bullet trains, which could be a bit disruptive.

Every time I visit Kyoto, I stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located and has a great breakfast. The rooms are also spacious, much larger than what you'd get for the same price in Tokyo or Osaka. I'll definitely be staying here again.
