Ulasan Fino Hotel & Suites

Our first stop in Christchurch was at this hotel, which was super easy to get to from the airport by bus. We got off and walked less than ten minutes to find it – very convenient. There's a temporary drop-off/pick-up point right outside the hotel, which is great for taxis or if someone is dropping you off/picking you up. We arrived almost an hour early, and luckily, our room was ready, so we could check in ahead of time. I didn't see anyone who spoke Mandarin at the front desk then, but the check-in process was still seamless and smooth! My family mentioned that a Mandarin-speaking front desk staff member was there when we checked out the next day, which shows the hotel is quite thoughtful. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to nearby attractions and markets, and getting around Christchurch is easy from here. The room itself was quite spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. My only minor feedback is that some of the room's fixtures and amenities felt a bit dated, so those with a strong preference for brand-new facilities might want to consider this.

The hotel front desk service was excellent, and they even had staff who spoke Chinese. The heating worked wonderfully, and parking was $15. The room was very warm. The only downside was that the shower made a loud noise when switching between the faucet and the showerhead.

Every single front desk staff member was lovely! ^_^ You'll need a credit card deposit or NZD 100 cash deposit at check-in (remember to retrieve it at check-out). A heads-up: the standard suite I booked doesn't have air conditioning. If you get hot easily, you'll need to book a deluxe room for AC. However, no worries in winter, as there are plenty of heaters, and the room was very warm. If you do get hot, you can ask the front desk for an electric fan, or simply enjoy the breeze on the balcony – that was enough for me. There's a kitchen with pots, pans, and all the cooking utensils you'd need. It's a two-bedroom suite (no windows in the bedrooms), with one bathroom accessible from both sides (and lockable) shared between the rooms. The hotel location is also quite convenient; there are supermarkets, restaurants, and shops within a 10-15 minute walk. P.S. There's a family playground nearby with a free zipline, slides, and climbing frames – definitely go check it out, it's great fun! All in all, this place is really good!!

Such a great place. Very convenient location, secure parking and a great suite for a very good price. Great water pressure and a comfy bed.

Coming back from Kaikoura in the South Island, we were ready to check out Christchurch, and staying here was so convenient. We could temporarily park our car in the yellow box right in front of the hotel to unload our luggage. The hotel also has its own dedicated parking lot, which at $15, is much cheaper than public parking. Our room had a kitchen, which was incredibly handy for us. There's even a fountain as you go up the elevator! The room itself was beautiful and clean, and the shower pressure was great too.

It was a rainy and windy New Year's Eve in Christchurch. After a long struggle picking up the rental car at the airport in the rain, we cautiously drove for half an hour to reach the hotel and park. The black gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel's inner courtyard is beautiful. The room decor, as mentioned in other reviews, is indeed a bit dated, but the room itself is quite spacious. We braved the stormy weather to walk back and forth to Amazonita for our New Year's Eve dinner, and my pants and socks were completely soaked when we returned. To my surprise, there was a washer-dryer combo unit, complete with two small packets of laundry detergent and instructions taped next to it. After getting Doubao to translate how to use the machine, I washed all my wet clothes. They came out warm and dry, ready to wear the next day.

We booked a two-bedroom apartment suite, and the moment we walked in, we were incredibly surprised and satisfied. A lovely lady from Shenzhen, China, at the front desk, checked us in. Since we arrived quite late in Christchurch in the afternoon, she called me in advance to ask for our estimated arrival time. She mentioned that if it was too late, they would leave the keys for us to self-check-in. In New Zealand, businesses close early, and after closing hours, hotel front desks are usually unstaffed. So, if you're arriving after hours, it's crucial to contact the hotel, otherwise, you won't be able to check in. I'm very grateful to her for proactively contacting me. She also enthusiastically told us about places worth visiting. This was an excellent hotel stay on our trip.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. It even had self-service laundry and a dryer, with complimentary detergent provided. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel, making dinner convenient as many stay open until 9 or 10 PM. I recommend this hotel.

The location and views were great. Parking was $15 per night. Walking distance to Casino and great restaurants. Washing machine and dryer worked fine. Heaps of space and great staff.

His was a fabulous central apartment style hotel with a great space. The rooms were warm and comfy and the lounge kitchen area was spacious and very functional. The place was immaculately clean and very nice. The central location was easy walkable to all the great Christchurch locations.

The hotel is right next to downtown. For breakfast, promise me you'll go to the cafe diagonally across the street, at the intersection. Their seafood chowder is incredibly comforting.

The room was spacious and convenient. The hotel is near the bus interchange (within 10minutes walk) and close to the bus stop of line29 (bus bound for airport). It was nice that washing machine was available.
